It's never going to happen, even though they would make truck loads of money just from ship sets alone.

But...

But if the new movie just came out, then Lego Star Trek would sell millions. It's Star Trek in Lego form! Action and adventure with blocks! And the ships would sell much nicer because you could do reanactments of the movie!(If the movie existed...)

Not enough flashing lights.

It must be hard to play those instruments with those hands.

I think the lego thing just helps the series make a smoother transition to the DS.:/
That's how it seems at least.

I think it's a hilarious parody of the too serious for school music games.

I think this game is just aimed towards the younger demographic, so you can hand your 5-year old the guitar and know he won't be confronted with any mature themes or language. Also, THE FINAL COUNTDOWN IS IN THIS GAME.
Nuff said.

Figured I'd post these...

Its interesting how much you can get away with when using LEGO like graphics.
Making it seem cinematic while its still having very blocky graphics.
Kinda the same Idea as cell shading, it can look good while being less expensive and taking up less memory.
Its quite clever, IMO.

I'd get it, if it wasn't one of those expensive rhythm games only rich people could buy.

Seriously. No matter how cheap it gets, I'll need a controller to use it, and controllers cost more than many other things I like better than controllers I'll only use for laughs.

The DS version doesn't have any special peripherals. It's more like Harmonix's seminal Frequency and Amplitude, where you manage all four tracks one at a time.
