Yes...another game announced by Activision. They have apparently begun scraping the bottom of the barrel. You want to know another surprise? It is coming out THIS FALL!

Prance around gayly as you become one with one of ten different backrounds, including the forest backround, grassy plains, and more! Pick from fifteen stupid flutes and try to get your Nerd Meter up for extra points! Try not to disturb the wildlife with you're playing!

What, the bastardization of an almost respectable series? It will eventually happen to every series if we wait long enough.

DJ Hero was announced in January. I wouldn't say that it was "just announced"

And bottom of the barrel? Do you know who's doing the mixing for the songs? DJ Shadow? Listen to Endtroducing... and then tell me that it's "bottom of the barrel" And Daft Punk? These are some of the artists at the very top of the electronic barrel.

I'd understand griping about the release of Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero being extremely confusing (though GH5's soundtrack so far is phenomenal). Also, the band spinoffs are annoying. And the Greatest Hits could've been released as DLC (as well as artist packs instead of $50 expansion packs)

But I have no problems with a game involving being a DJ, especially when DJ Shadow and Daft Punk are remixing songs.
