That guy said that "FFVII's story line was brilliant." Brilliant? Really? I mean, I like FF7 and all, but face it, that story is convoluted as ****. Sorry, not putting any stock into what you say, buddy.

Also, he stopped playing Twilight Princess because he couldn't get past herding goats. He's nothing more than a FF7 fanboy. No thx.

Looking back at my post about how people can consider "The World Ends With You" generic, it seems people were confused by it...why? I thought it made sense... =/

Anyway, actually, I'm near the end of that game now. Pretty badass story.

^ FF7's story isn't as good as its spinoff, Crisis Core. That kinda says something.

Oh, I read that the PS3 version of FF13 is subject to freezing. Is that true?

So CSM, lemme get this straight...Nomura, an artist designed the game in its entirety....So what did Motomu Toriyama, Toshiro Tsuchida, and Yoshinori Kitase do then?

Let's face it: If you go into a game expecting it to live up to your favorite game of all time, you're going to be seriously disappointed 99.99% of the time. FXIII is not perfect by any sense of the word, but it is far the ET: The Extraterrestrial 2 that some people are making it out to be.

My thoughts exactly....really, all I've read about the game is that I can put it on hold until summer, because I don't want it to start distracting me from schoolwork.

But keep in mind why it's being made up like the ET: Extraterrestrial 2...It's got hype. If it's a popular series...it's about as popular to hate on it and treat it like it violently killed your family as it is to like it. Remember all the hate around games like Halo, and Grand Theft Auto?

So effectively only exsisting in one chapter, before heroically sacrificing herself, with her death playing on the young male lead's mind throughout the story? Sound excatly like Hopes mother.

"Uninteresting characters": Nomura designed this game. I'm not surprised they only take the time to develop two characters.

This man doesn't seem to have played it much, the characters all get a healthy amount of devolpment throughout the game.

Equipment system: Again, it's a Nomura game. Swords, Sheilds, and Armor take a backseat to needlessly complex things.

It's an attempt to break the norms for typical rpgs, and it works quite nice.

The Crystariam thing sounds interesting considering FFX's best thing was the Sphere Grid.

The whole cutscene thing is definitely a turnoff. I don't want this to become another Xenosaga mess.

Nevertheless, I shall play this game with an open mind once the price drops to something I can afford. -CSM
