I want Tails to be playable. That's all. Knuckles would be nice, maybe Shadow, but Tails in necessary.

Will CPU Tails always get himself killed by enemies? And always drown and fall off cliffs and get impaled on spikes? And make you lose all your rings in the minigames?

New from Sonic Team it's "Tails the Fox" learn the dark truth about him as we find out what his life was like before he met Sonic!

To be honest I like Tails the best of the Sonic crew but I could acturly see that game being made.

Or better yet. They could, you know, scrap all the un-needed characters and leave it with Sonic + Tails? Maybe Knuckles at a push.

Also Robotnik must be called Robotnik, and have his old attire. Also he has to be the boss of every single zone in a different machine. No ****ed up aliens, no angsty story, Special stages, Super-sonic can be used in the levels and not as a last boss which looks like something you'd see in a ****ed up hentai.

Oh. And no ****ing Boost, just the spindash, kthx.

If this game has much more than Sonic, I'm just gonna laugh at it and walk away. 3 characters tops--no Sonic game with more than that many playable characters was a 'classic.'

Maybe if they just focus on Sonic and his controls, the camera, and the gameplay, everything will work out? Ignore the graphcis, music, and additional characters, you know? Just an idea, a back to the basics thing.

But I don't think the music has ever been all that bad, but the gameplay certainly has been. And the graphics are hard to screw up on PS3, yet they've done a wonderful job messing with the mechanics of the game to the point where it isn't even Sonic sometimes.

I think the focus should be limited to the basics, with much of the game taking place in 2D environments, meshed with 3D segments. That's just optional and I think it'd be neat, but I do think music and graphics need to take a backseat.

Maybe Sega should just bury Sonic with what little dignity he has left. I mean, according to you guys, there hasn't been a good Sonic game since 1994 anyway, and the character is basically a laughing stock as it is.

SEGA uses it as a cash cow; they don't really care about dignity and to end it would be anathema to them, even though a section of fans (myself included) might prefer it to be dead for a while.

It should be like this:

Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles playable.

Robotnik isn't some bumbling idiot who whines about losing, and has two annoying robot assistants who follow him around everywhere.

Amy, if she has to be in it, isn't annoying. Shadow, if he has to be in it, isn't angsty. (Maybe like he was in Sonic Chronicles, pretty cool.)

These side characters are in cutscenes only, and not playable. The cut-scenes do NOT take up much of the game.

The gamplay does NOT CHANGE to emerald hunting, no matter what character you are playing as. Only the side-scrolling goodness.

A story that does NOT involve anything besides chaos-emeralds.

They should just let you play as whoever you want to, with no big differences between them. I could care less about characters.

The game is going to be Sonic only, though. Calling it now.

But that was only in one cartoon, which aired during Sonic's heydey.

Also I liked the darker storylines and honestly was disappointed when they stopped doing that. I really wanted to see the DEEP DARK STORY BEHIND BIG THE CAT.
