Question: did he know that the ARK was going to go into CRASH mode? Because if he did, that's kinda awesome if only because he trolled Eggman/Robotnik. Now I can only imagine him walking into a room and saying, "Problem, Doctor?".

besides that though, I don't particularly like him.

Like him. He's cool, when he's done right. He's like Jason Todd out of Batman. Can be good, can be evil, can be crazy, and then he can be just downright lame.

Shadow's cool when he's not being all angsty. He's better as a badass, like SA2.

Nahh discusions that is not done is good to bring up again.

I like the Character idea, to many Mecha sonics makes things a little dull and some biological lifeform is just better because only robots die in Sonic games.

And as stated before he can be good, sometimes a bit to angsty but i think that's just the writers trying to win with Darker and Edgier story.

He's at his best when he is Badass and have stopped whining al the time and saying that he is dangerus, what is it with Those crazy Japanese people and their characters with awesome powers that can't use them in some good way.

I mean if i could stop time......

I liked Shadow in SA2. Mostly because his stages were in the same vein as Sonic's, which was nice considering how 70% or so of the game was either mech-riding or treasure hunting.
He was a cool character in that one, too. His story allowed for the plot to take a pleasantly darker turn there close to the end.

I haven't played any of his other appearances aside from a little bit of Heroes, but Spoiler Below

bringing him back kinda lessened the dramatic effect of his death in Adventure 2.

He should have been a playable character in Brawl, but that would defy the Law of Conservation of Awesomeness.

SA2/Sonic Heroes/Sonic 06/Lancelot Shadow was pretty cool

Some of the Shadow The Hedgehog endings were cool but over all a bit to angsty.

Still not as awesome as Knuckles though.

^^ It depends if you follow the Sonic Heroes or Sonic Unleashed continuity. Anyway, they shoehorn him in too much and leave little for Tails to do(and sometimes Knuckles), which annoys me. I like the guy, but let Tails do something other than be a background character(or a helper) for once! Amy is worse.
