Seriously the only thing I can think that is wrong with this game is Tidus' voice actor and personality.

It's definitely worth playing; it has one of my favorite battle systems. (All you Sphere Grid haters can bite me).

The main thing wrong with the game is the cutscenes and choppy voice acting (especially from Tidus and Yuna), but they're not a dealbreaker (that's what FFX-2 is for

I *loved* the battle system in FFX. And honestly, Tidus does not bother me that much, overall. And it has Auron, so, yeah...

I'm loving this. I don't see much of the Battle System that's too different from the others, and it's very similar to FF VII's, which is wierd of me to say because I don't play too many RPG's.

Tidus is annoying, but not just absolutely horrible. I kind of want to stab him with Sephiroth's sword, though. But I can see that he'll probably get better towards the end, kind of like Luke Skywalker.

Whiny Brat + Good Friends + Life-Changing Adventure= LEVEL UP! Tidus leveled up to hero. *Victory Music Plays*

There actually are things I liked about this game, despite how often I've expressed my utter hatred for Tidus. I felt Lulu should have gotten more screentime - she was my favourite character!

Yes I know, that scene where Tidus and Yuna are going, "AH-HA HA HA HA HA" sounds really really lame, but that's the entire point.

It sounds just as bad in Japanese - I saw it on Youtube after reading a certain page on TVTropes. They're supposed to be crying crocodile tears. Why else do you think everyone looked at them like they had gone insane? :P

Yeah, FFX was my first FF. I played it directly before IX, and although I've always preferred IX, I do have some really warm memories of X. Maybe I should go back and beat it... I haven't played it in some 5 years and the last time I did I was stuck on one of the Seymour fights.
