Having seen some recent tirades about the game, no.

People who have no clue of the old games just wanna hate it, because they've never experienced it before and they want their human princess/Sonic romance simulators back.

This extra development time will surely let them fix Sonic's glitched eyes and attacking.

Sonic CD was the second made, so in chronological order of release,

Sonic 1, Sonic CD, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles.

Also it has yet to be seen which fans they're taking suggestions from, so this delay could also be very bad.

i'm assuming there polishing the game up a bit due the reaction to some guy leaking the entire game. it looked pretty cool but there were some physics issues, a terrible mine cart level, and the music was boring.

still step in the right direction and i'm glad they are delaying to fix the some of the ****.

also i was worried about having the homing attack in a 2d game but it actually works pretty well.

Lots of so-called "Hardcore" Sonic fans will smash the game for having wacky physics, but from my perspective the game is decent. Not great, but not bad either.

Now to hope they make it even better in Ep 2.
