If you're fine with having a party of silent characters, it's just fine on its own. It's a really expansive game, with plenty of different ways to spend your time, and the traditional RPG aesthetic is crafted nicely. I'm sure the multiplayer will add to that. |

I fully intend to create a party where the token male is Android #17. :P And he's not the angel leader, either. |

My party: Sheena, Minstrel Android #17, Priest (:P) Android #18, Warrior McKenzie, Martial artist McKenzie is just going APE**** with her staff right now, she's literally one-shotting enemies and is going faster than a much higher leveled Sheena. And when I fought the 2nd boss, I egged her on enough...and she went Super Saiyen and PWNED it. (Well, martial artists do seem to be single-target damagers...figured, "why not?") |

I have played a couple of the other mothership titles for Dragon Quest and plan to do the Gamestop extra bonus area on the 31st. It seems like a clever idea to say the least. Well I need to keep playing. |

These things are UNGODLY hard to find, and they are INCREDIBLY hard to make stay, BUT when I DO find 'em, these little buggahs will award me with THOUSANDS of quick Experience points! The NORMAL Metal Slime, which only 'as 4 'ealth points, is located mostly in Quarantomb, while the Metal Medlies are mostly 'inside the bad cave basement. 'ee ONLY Con to dees METAL MONSTERS is that they DO NOT Hold STILL!! |

Or lend my DS to one of my shiftless friends who live downtown. (The America also is doing it =p ) |

Probably not... *shrugs* Hmmm, I don't think many of my friends are interested in DQ as much. *sigh* |

There was a Playstation2 version of 5 planned for localization, even, but I think it got lost in the Square - Enix merging. |

I remember playing that for hours on a little black-and-white TV I had in my room. (For reals, black and white. We had colour TVs elsewhere in the house, but mine was not a good TV.) I ended up playing DQII on an emulator. Also tried the GBC version of DQI. Much easier than the NES version. I didn't have to wander around killing slimes for an hour before moving onto Drakees; I could just wander over to the next town straight out of Tangetel Castle, punching ghosts and whatnot. I tried diving into III, but never got around to it. The last DQ-like thing I've played is Guardia Quest in Retro Game Challenge. I recommend playing that if you like the 80's NES era. |
