Rock Band 3 to include keyboards, "pro" mode

Rock Band 3 will teach you how to play keyboards, guitar - Plugged In - Yahoo! Games

Keyboard: 25 keys, grouped together into the usual 5 colors for easy & medium settings, but hard & expert modes will require more precision. The board is also MIDI functional to play outside of the game.

Pro mode: You're basically really playing the song at this point. New guitar controllers will also be made available, one with actual strings, both with a full fretboard.

Video in the link.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I'm pretty psyched about the "real guitar" thing they're talking about. Makes me want to drop a thousand dollars for a PS3/360 and Rock Band 3 with full instruments.

Still want. Apparently every instrument gets a pro mode: drums get three more cymbals.

Guitar Hero 4 had those. They'd better have those.

Exactly. The GH drumkit is better than the RB drumkit for that very reason.

I didnt like the kickpedal on the GH drums though. For some reason, it was just extremely difficult for me to use. Also, after more than 2 minutes of playing the GH WT guitar, my entire left arm (strumming arm) would cramp up really badly, whereas i felt fine when using the GH3 guitar.
