Skinny people are endomorphic And the people in between that can maintain a certain weight for a long time and are the best at building up muscle are mesomorphic. And remember; I'm not fat, I'm big boned |

Ectomorphs are typically skinny and have trouble gaining any weight (either muscle or fat), whereas endomorphs are husky. Endomorphs are arguably better at building muscle than mesomorphs. Granted, the drawback is they're far more likely to store fat. I'm an ectomorph, but I'm also an example of how genetics shouldn't hold someone back. I've packed on a good 30 pounds and yet am still the leanest I've been since high school. |

I have always been long and lean, and even though I've gained close to 50 pounds in the past 2 years, I still look slim. Please note, I gained 50 pounds because I: A) Started to lift weights 4 times a week, and haven't missed too many weeks. B) Used to wrestle in school, so my weight was always way down there. C) Grew around 4 inches in height. |

But hey, a hella lot of it's muscle... it looks like it's all fat, but I'm a lot stronger than most kids my age... something I like to keep secret sometimes ![]() |
