Anybody listening to the chatter on Xbox Live knows that the major**y of drugs being consumed are defin**ely not performance-enhancing. But w**h gaming tournaments increasingly offering cash prizes, contestants are looking for an advantage over the compet**ion.

Enter MindFX, a Los Angeles-based herbal supplements company, which is offering several supplements designed specifically for gamers. While not exactly steroids, according to an article in the Tacoma News Tribune (referenced on Firingsquad.com), the company's Maxx Impulse is "designed to bring gamers to the very peak of their abil**y."

That's market-speak for getting them wired on guarana, ginseng, and a cocktail of something MindFX calls "adaptogenic herbs." Another pill in the MindFX medicine cabinet, Neurocharge, uses ginkgo and hyperzine to enhance reflexes, while a third, Aftermath, is designed to rejuvenate gamers after an exhausting day of fragging.

Testing the pills on himself, the Tribune reporter reported some improvement while playing shooters. However, he cautions gamers--especially teenagers--against taking too many of the pills, which, if consumed in mass quant**ies, could have adverse health effects.

Those who want to play ** totally safe may just want to stick to Red Bull.
Great, pretty soon you'll have to piss in a cup before tournements. What the hell is the world coming to?

And my faith in humanity drops another notch.

I swear, the second they try to market pineapples through Spongebob Squarepants, that’s when you’ll know it’s time for a round of beatings.
