I was drinking with some friends all night (due to the fact that it was New Years Eve) and have a track meet on Friday. Will the drinking carry over or effect my running in any way possible? (Note: This isn't my first or last time drinking.)

Well, if you'll still be hungover, then it'll definitely affect your running.
If not, you'll have to ask everyone else.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Since it's going to be over 24 hours, you should be okay. Some side effects, though, such as vommiting may cause unwanted consequences (you may be weaker).
