You are not alone, and you can post what you have. There is one rule, no hulimating people of their problems. We all are born with something wrong sometimes, and that doesn't mean they are imperfect. I have Autisum, and I have problems with my legs. I also have a bit of a hearing problem. Sometimes I need help speaking right and balance because I sometimes fall alot. But to help my strengh, I take tae kwon do and I am becoming pretty strong not only in my legs, but in my mind. Ka si ha mi da (Thank you) For taking your time. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I have an extremely rare blood disorder called discaritosys (spelling). Bascially, half my bone marrow (the thing that produces new cells) doesn't work at all and the other half has to compensate for it. It mainly only effects my haemoglobin, and platelets (cells that help your blood clot). So I need blood and platelet transfusions pretty often. Also because of this, my skin in some spots (around my neck mostly, you can probbably tell in the pic I posted of me in the Relationships forum topic) has discolorations. And people are so mean about it, too. I have some kid come up to me thinking its because I dont shower and said "Don't you wash around your neck, dude?" And my nails look chewed up also because of this. AND I still have the stupid problem with my right leg. (I'm sure everyone's heard it by now) [ January 02, 2004, 08:03 PM: Message edited by: Knux '04 ] |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I cut myself. I can't remember what that's called. Something like knife cutting syndrome or whatever *according to my health teacher ) It was really bad in November, but now it's under control. I haven't cut since December 19. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Nothing that I know of :/ I've realized that people do make fun of people because they aren't "perfect"...that really ticks me off :/ (Not their fault, and it doesn't change their personaility, either ) |

My back and shoulders still look disgusting, though. At least it forces me to dress modestly. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I am allergic to dust mites. Also, I was born with a condition similar to autism. I can't exactly remember what it's called or what it does, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with my social skills (for example, I tend to pause when I say things). |

| Guest Posts: n/a | As I've said before, I'm anemic (low iron levels in my blood) which mostly causes exhaustion. S'posedly easy to treat, but the tablets I'm taking don't seem to help much. Other than that, mild hayfever and I've been getting a loooot of headaches. |

...Also, I have Aspergers. They Diagnosed me with Autism because Aspergers wasn't in the medical books when I was 3, but they found out it was Aspergers a few years later. I get enamored with obscure stuff like Cacti, and basically anything nerdish and I have terrible organization and Social Skills. I also have a speech disorder where I stammer. Another bad thing I have is food allergies. Until 4th grade, I was allergic to Wheat and Dairy (And almost everything we eat has either Wheat or Dairy) and I would go up the walls and/or develop eczema (Rash similar to Hives) whenever I ate some. When I was in 4th grade, it was fine for me to eat Wheat and Dairy but I had to take Enzymes. By 6th grade, I was off the Enzymes and I can eat wheat and Dairy now. Though I still get loquacious (Not like anyone can actually tell) and sometimes get eczema if I eat too much. P.S: Do NOT mix Rice Bread with Soy milk. | |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I don't know what it was called, my parents didn't do any testing. But from what you're saying, Douglas, my condition is probably called Aspergers. I've got some problems with my social skills, like eye contact. It also affects how well I do in school (very well). |

| Guest Posts: n/a | ^It probably is aspergers, because I have eye contact problems (I'm getting better about it though) and I also do well in school...When I'm not having organizaion problems. [ January 04, 2004, 10:16 PM: Message edited by: Douglas of the 7 Winds ] |
