I have always been a huge fan of vBulletin over UBB. Because it's superior in every way. For example, the "go to last read post" is so utterly wonderful, and it also allows indicators which show if you have posted in a topic or not. Those are pretty cool.

Also, I have heard that UBB might be a pretty bad program for security. Among other things, I've heard that if hackers just type a highly misformatted URL into their web browser, they can cause a buffer overrun which they can use to wreak all sorts of havok, from making private forums into public forums to editing other people's posts.

I wouldn't be too concerned about that, actually, but maybe this might be the impetus to get us to switch from UBB to vBulletin.

Or Invision. ********* uses that. Or hell, maybe phpBB. It's actually slightly worse than UBB, but it's free, and that might be worth something.

Good. I'm all for it. We have too many features. We should switch.

Feh. Security? You know we aren't really secure. Luigi64 can still see this. And you know what? I bet he has all of our addresses. That bastard. He'll probably try to mail us SARS or something lame like that. But seriously, it's not like I haven't hacked all the restricted forums already anyway.
