 Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: I rub my tilde all over your asterisk Gender:  Posts: 28,100 Thanks: 2,151 Thanked 5,338 Times in 2,433 Posts |  VGF ADVENTURE GAME (concept) So, I've had this idea for a while. I will draw the screens and results for a PC-style adventure game. I describe and draw the area you are in, including the player's character, and post the images upon deciding how events are affected by your decision. Kind of like the oldschool King's Quest-style adventure games, where you give a command like >PICK UP HAT or >LOOK WEST. You make choices based on your surroundings and preference (or insanity, however you see it), and I depict the results by way of sketching. Savvy? The reason why I am making this topic beforehand is because I want to see how much interest I will gather. I don't want to feel like an idiot, drawing pictures for one or two people: we need a bunch of people to participate to really make it work. Opinions/ideas? |
