I'll be posting this stuff on my blog, but also here, since more people check this forum. So basically, I'll be writing little drabbles for Zelda.

Stupid Horse

It was a hard day of Stalfos-slaying, temple-journeying, and princess-searching. Finally, Link could take a break from his quest to defeat Ganondorf and save Princess Zelda, and just go to sleep. Link loosely tied a rope around his horse, Epona, to a tree so it wouldn’t run away. That way, Link didn’t have to waste his rupees on some stupid horse-caller. Link eased away the tension in his shoulders, and layed down in the grass. He relaxed, and closed his eyes.

And just as he was about to go into a wonderful, soothing sleep, he heard a loud neigh from his horse. Link stood up, startled, to see his horse. “Oh, it’s just you,” Link said. And so, he layed down again to go to sleep. “NEEEEIGH!!!” Link opened his eyes again. “Please don’t do that again, Epona,” Link said, becoming irritated. Just about to lay down again, the horse basicly screamed a third time. Link gritted his teeth, and used his gigantic hat to try and cover his ears. Unfortunately, that didn’t work. And that is because, due to a birth defect, Link was born with hideously-large ears. Link cursed his mother for that, even though it wasn’t her fault. Link staggered in the grass, trying to go to sleep. But obviously he couldn’t, due to his horse’s screaming.

Finally, finally, finally, Link went to sleep. After he kicked his horse, that is. He dreamed of him dreaming him dreaming of him dreaming of him dreaming of a beatiful paradise… THAT WENT INTO FLAMES. Link staggered in his sleep. He saw Zelda, calling to him for help. “Please, Link, please! Save me from the evil clutches of Ganondorf! He’s going to sacrifice me soon, for some reason that I can’t think of! But please, hurry up and save me!”

Link awoke, sweaty and with shot eyes. Zelda must have somehow telepathically sent him a distress signal! Link quickly got up, yelling “quick, Epona! The princess is in danger, hurry up!!!” Link untied the rope, and tried to get on Epona.

“NEEEEEEIIIIIIGGGHHHH!!!” Epona knocked Link over. Link gritted his teeth, and tried to get on again. Epona again knocked him over, and began kicking him. A bleeding Link slowly crawled away, covered in bruises.

“Listen, Epona! If we don’t hurry up, Zelda will die! And if that happens, I’ll never become famous and I’ll starve, and I’ll have to eat YOU!!!” Link pointed at his horse. This, only made the horse even crazier and madder, and rammed straight into Link, sending him into a rock. Link slowly got up, cursing the horse under his breath. Then, he had an idea. And it was gonna feel soooo good to do it.

Link looked down, and picked up a rock. He then stood back up. He threw his arm forward, tossing the rock at Epona’s head. “Take this, you stupid horse!!!!” The rock made brutal contact with Epona’s head. The horse fell down and remained still. Link scowled, and then suddenly realized something. Now, Zelda was going to die. He just killed his only transportation.

So, is anyone going to tell me how I can improve? I'd appreciate that and some commenting.
