I've taught myself a lot more about Photoshop now, and I think it shows pretty well. This is the first full pic I've completed since the Samus collab, so it's been quite a while. Here's the pic: ![]() I did almost all of the colors and the majority of the background yesterday. The central subject's lines were CL's, they haven't been modified but I added onto them to complete the shadowing and dimensions a bit (particularily in the mouth/around the eyes). It was cool to coach her a bit on how to make it more aggressive looking. Here's a concept sketch I did to give CL a composition guide for how I thought the picture should look. It wasn't based on the original design, hence the change in styles: ![]() Only thing the piece is missing is a title. Anyone got any suggestions for an awesome title? Once it's got a title, I intend to put the image up on DeviantArt with poster-size prints for sale (the image was drawn at 5000 x 5000 pixels, and can print very large). Quote:

Hell, I'd be half-tempted to get a poster of your Metroid collaboration, and I don't even like Metroid all that much. |

I just read an interview with Aonuma where he said they'd planned on originally making the Zora an antagonistic race of mer-men, which I assumed means more like the original design. Apparently, the decision to make their princess one of the sages lead to a redesign of the race. Although, god knows why they still called them Zoras if they hadn't even intended to change them in the first place. It seems obvious that the deku scrubs were originally octoroks.
