My "Next Hand" articles

I'm guessing this is the best place to post this.

This is the first of many articles that I'm writing that details what I've learned after a year of experience at low stakes poker games. While the main audience I'm targeting is people who know the basics of poker and want to know what makes a winning player, I also want to make a few points towards how to act in everyday life.

I want to know what others think of my writing style, and if I structured some paragraphs/sentences in confusing ways. I'm also curious if the things I'm saying are simple enough for most people to understand.

SD and I have had a lot of fun with Poker Dice lately. We bought ourselves a set of dice and we're looking to make a case to keep them in and play - SD wants to hollow out a large hard-cover book. I thought that would be pretty cool. Had to drop by Tactics, the local D&D den to pickup the dice, was rather pleased with the attractive crimson and gold set we picked up. I'll post photos of them if I can remember to get around to it.

I'll read your articles if and when I'm feeling up to it, okay bud?

This is a concept everybody needs to drill into their heads, even people who've never held a deck of cards.

There's no set order for these, but this one would definitely come first. It goes in a slightly different direction and talks a lot about my past, which I've never really done for a long time.
