Fanartists

Do you have favourite fanartists?

Do they draw from books, movies, games, anime, cartoons, manga, etc?

I love Makani's art. I was particularly drawn to her Harry Potter art, because as I was reading the book, she perfectly depicted the characters exactly the way I envisioned them. Plus, she's pretty hilarious, so her joke-art is really good as well.

Melora is another favorite of mine - I have always loved her style, and I believe The Grand Adventures featured some of her work way back when.

And, while I wouldn't say PiPa is my favorite, this picture IS:

So good, it actually became part of the official canon.

I can't really name a 'fanartist' I like as such, as most of the artists I +watch on DA and the like may just do the occasional fanart piece.

^ Pretty epic, gotta say.

I don't actually have a favorite artist, there's a lot of talented people out their and each one of them is hungry for good ideas. I content myself with doing a piece on occasion, I'd probably be doing more if I weren't doing background work for the RPG and occasional comic stuff.

Just had an idea for a quick Youtube short, we'll see if I get around to doing it soon.

Genzoman does a lot of great fantasy art, but also does video game art sometimes, including The Legend of Zelda.

Midna and Link

Midna and Wolf Link

Tetra and Link

Tetra

Manly Link

And my personal favorite:
Navi

He also does art of other video games, like World of Warcraft and Street Fighter.

^ Well, it gave me a worm as well.

My friend said that they had an announcement about that, actually. Hackers mucking up the site up or something.
