My whammy isn't working, and I'm on the Slash battle. Slash likes to use the whammy move on me.

Hopefully you have a more than one-day warranty, just return it/send it in and get a new guitar.

Those f***ing bastards, my guitar has the same problem. I guess I'll send it in, but it's obnoxious.

edit: Oh! My friend gave me some suggestions, and they worked. First, make sure you weren't holding down the whammy bar when you start the console or the game. Second, try using the calibrate whammy bar option (this didn't work for me). Third, if you're on the Wii, make sure you connect the Wiimote to the guitar very gently. Some combination of these fixed mine, so try them if you can.

i loved the battle against slash! the only battle i had probs w/ was against Lou. even then it only took like 2 tries. well thats messed up your whammy isnt working. i just fix my own guitars lol

try calibrating it in the options menu.

and as for gh3master, we should duke it out. guitarhero.com and look up ViiVii. i have a blog with the wii friend code in it.
