....is it worth getting the new guitar, or am I better off just buying the game itself and using my X-Plorer?

Keep in mind I love the X-plorer.

I'm pretty fond of the X-Plorer, so it's up to you, really. Honestly, even though I don't have the 360 version, when I used it before, I can probably see it more of a deal to just get the game.

I'd say the new one because I've never seen an X-Plorer, but it's totally up to you. If you love it, keep it.

My question for the owners of GHIII: How are the hammer-ons and pull-offs in this game compared to the previous installments?

i bought it with the les but it has a much diffrent fell i put it right down and to my x-plorer and let friends use the les so its ur choice

well personally i hate the controller that comes with gh3 for any of the systems

the buttons are always not pressing ((which makes me lose precious star power)) so if you feel like being a cheater go ahead and get it then challenged your friend let him use the one that came w/ the game and you use your explorer. then lets see who wins the dog fight

hammeron pulloff system is alot easier in this game. they show you what notes you can use HO/PO on. they are the whitest notes in the song. as long as youve hit the previous note, you can do the rest without strumming.
