| Newbie Join Date: Nov 2007 Gender: Posts: 2 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | i HAAATE slipknot, **** them, and **** their gay song on GH3 so i buy the new version of guitar hero 3, every other version has had songs i didnt know very well, but after playing them a few times i started to like them guitar hero 3 first throws in anarchy in the UK. which sucks balls, (apparently the original is way better, i dont know) but i get thru it and get to enjoy some of the other great songs on the game then i get to the japan show, every song in there so far is lame, i dont like ANY of the, but i managed to get past the others cause there was at least some semblance of musical quality to it then i get to that ****ing 'before i forget' by slipknot, i hate this song, i hate it. hate it hate it.. i hate the band, i think they are no talent sacks of crap, every song of theirs ive heard has been pure ****, theres no musical quality too it, its just random ****ty banging on guitars that are out of tune and suck, mixed with the most ****ty lyrics ive EVER HEARD.. the lyrics are pathetic, he rhymes words with themselves.. this song is no exception, terrible banging on out of tune **** guitars in random piss poor ****ty meyhem not even briefly resembling a melody or a tune.. combined with ****ty singing that makes me want to gouge my brain out with a pitchfork whats worse its its freaking hard to beat so far.. so im stuck on this song that i flat out HATE and have absolutely no desire to beat whatsoever, no desire to play whatsoever, no desire to hear whatsoever... yet i have to beat this ****fest in order to get to the rest of the songs (hopefully some more good ones) can anyone explain the logic of putting a song this ****ty in the main sets of the game? does anyone actually like this song? and if so seek mental help, and an ear transplant cause yours dont freaking work peace, and **** slipknot their only half decent song, ONLY ONE, was that song that goes 'cut my life into pieces, this is my last resort' and they overplayed the **** out of that on the radio for like a year.. i wish he had taken his own advice |

Get over it. It's better than 'Yes We Can' by Made in Mexico at least.

| The Last Timelord. | ^This. Also no need to use such colourful language. English would be fine. Edit: And secondly I wouldn't really describe Slipknot songs as gay, they are in no way happy song. Unless those sorts of songs make you happy. |

| Cooler than you and you ****ing know it. | ^ No, I think he means that Slipknot songs prefer songs that are made by all guy-groups, instead of girl-groups. Didn't know songs could HAVE sexual preference, but whatever. |

But why has Institutionalized not been mentioned? If we're talking about horrible, hard-to-play emo songs... Anyway, Before I Forget is better and easier to play than Raining Blood. I don't care if it's a "classic" metal song, I hate it and I hate Slayer. |

Once you can write something better, harder, emo-er, faster, harder,... actually anything more intellectually challenging than Mary Had A Little Lamb, come back and we'll talk. jackass A completely worthwhile first thread AND first post ![]() EDIT: ![]() Last edited by earh0x; 11-06-2007 at 10:23 PM. |

And being hard to play is a bad thing? Okay, if you say so. Have fun with Slow Ride and Cherry Pie.
