Gold Stars?

How many songs have you gold-starred in the GH series?

Personally, I've never gold-starred a song above Medium--it's almost as if the higher difficulties are more difficult or something. I don't know.

Here's my list (Mediums only)--

GHII:
Surrender
Heart-Shaped Box
Strutter
Cherry Pie
Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight
Can't You Hear Me Knockin'
Tattooed Love Boys
John the Fisherman
Trooper
Psychobilly Freakout
Free Bird (just got this one last night--took me a long time)

GHIII:
Slow Ride
Hit Me With Your Best Shot
My Name is Jonas

I don't even try any more. I only found out about Gold Stars when I accidentally played a medium (or easy?) song. On Hard+, there's like a thousand notes, and I doubt I can hit all of them =\

I could get gold stars on Parasite or HSB on expert, but I always miss one note and then throw my guitar at the wall. No, I don't have any on expert.

i hate telling my achievements cos it sounds like im flaunting and bragging. but here goes. ill summerize in one sentence.

all the songs but jordan, six, and freebird......gold stars. quite possibly the longest ive spent on one game.

heres another crazy achievement.
remember those hacked songs from guitar hero 1
Trippolette and Graveyard Shift
graveyard was easy...
but Trippolette......hard as hell
especially since its like GH2 Expert difficulty
and its all becos the old hammer on pulloff system SUCKED!!!

give it a try sometime.
i finally 100%ed it like all the other songs on GH1 (yes the first GH is completely mastered for me)
GH2 i came close, but i gave up when i got so far.

GH3 is all new territory. i five starred all the songs already, but to gold star them all is going to be one feat i dont think ill ever achieve.
For example, best ive done on dragonforce was 94% 5*s 520,000 points.

what
So you actually gold-starred Beast and the Harlot and Trogdor? They're way harder to do than Freebird and Six.
I kinda doubt you actually 100%ed them, since there are only about 2 or 3 people who have 100%ed either of them.

I got a couple gold stars last night. I hit a road block on Expert career, so I completed Hard career. I gots the five stars for the first seven tiers, and three gold stars.

Wow. You guys are way better than I am. I hit the wall about 3/4 of the way through Hard career in GHII ('Crazy On You' did my head in, I tell you what).

Really???
I barely got passed Normal career 4 nights ago, and I couldn't gold star ANY of the songs (although I'm trying to 5 star them all)...

Holy s***. Playing with 5 frets is HARD!!!!

It's a paradigm shift, to be sure. You have to fundamentally change the way you play when you rank up. Ideally, you should only be using your index, middle, and ring fingers to hit any note; I find my pinky to be terrible at anything precise.

I'm pretty sure I could gold star a bunch of songs on medium and hard if I went back to them, but I prefer trying to 5-star songs on expert.

BatH was easy except for one part. in the middle of the solo with the superfast up/down strumming with the whole notes in a row thing.....that was the toughest part. i cant 100% it all the time, but i managed to do it twice in the time ive owned the game.
