Hate to break it to you, but Guitar Hero NEVER felt like actually playing a real guitar. For someone who's played a pile of guitars, genuine real guitars with strings and all, Guitar Hero was... nothing like it. This, however, looks funny and I want to try it out.

I have yet to beat ANY videogame on hard because it's....well hard.

Generally, I like sticking to lower difficulties, because I find it more fun to actually be able to progress through a game than stare at a game over screen every ten seconds.

It just read confirmation on IGN that the accessory includes an adaptor, so it could plug into the original DS.

Oh and here's a quote about the missing button and how it might change the difficulty:
Quote:
Don't let the lack of a single button make you think this game will be a cakewalk for Guitar Hero freaks: according to Bala, hard mode will be "really freakin' hard."

Never been much of a Pat Benatar fan.

And KISS just never did much for me, there are some songs I've liked, but they're pretty mediocre as a band.

How about some more new songs, rather than stuff from GH3.

I wouldn't blame them for reusing songs. They want to save most new songs for Guitar Hero IV after all.

I just watched the Hannah Montana trailer on The Nintendo Channel and I was reminded of this game. The girls were dancing so much then when it actually came to playing one of the instruments on the DS they were perfectly still.

This is a youtube mirror. I'm pretty sure the black girl just plugged her DS into a mini amp that she is carrying on her shoulder.

Wait, are you comparing Hannah Montana to Guitar Hero?

Even more, are you suggesting that Guitar Hero puts Hannah Montana songs in the next games? Huh? HUH? IS THAT YOUR EVIL PLAN, WVSW? YOU EVIL MINDED... EVIL PERSON?!!

Just picked it up today. It took a song or two to get used to it, but I found the game fun.

However, I have to question the inclusion of "This Love" by Maroon 5 (as an encore no less).

The game is advertised as having 25 songs, so I believe I will probably have run though all of them by the end of the day (I already played ten).

Only 25 and four buttons? Sounds like a cop out.

Considering this is a hand held game it's quite impressive. By comparison, Elite Beat Agents (previously my favourite DS rhythm game) had only 19 songs.

The game comes ready to go into a DS Lite, but they packed an adapter so it can fit with the regular DS. I have yet to try it on my fat DS, but why would I when there's a giant ol' crack on the top screen?

So, yes, I picked it up (Although at $50, I could have gotten Aerosmith). I'm pretty impressed, actually. Expert is still difficult, just not in the fifth button sense. Rather, there are a huge amount of notes that require strumming REALLY fast.

My favorite thing about this game? THE PICK STYLUS.
