IGN: Beatles Guitar Hero Rumoured?

I was expecting Zeppelin before the Beatles.

The odds of led zeppelin being on Guitar Hero are slim to none. I'd say there is a better chance the beatles will appear. Led Zeppelin has only given the rights to Tenacious D.

Except Guitar Hero fans are more demanding for LZ. I can't really see The Beatles as anything more than Tier 1 and 2 songs. I mean, excuse me for not knowing many Beatles songs, but what would be a Final Encore?

I love The Beatles, but I can't think of many songs that would be really hard in GH.

The insane amounts of money that Michael Jackson charges for the rights would jack up the cost of the game itself in order for them to make some sort of profit. I believe the same goes for Led Zeppelin except that Led Zeppelin rights aren't given out...EVER. Plus, let's not forget that this article is from IGN, a website notorious for sending out false information and starting rumors.

[EDIT] Also, I thought the rights were relaxed only for American Idol, and even then they had to dedicate TWO shows of that for the Beatles. This is gonna be insane if it ever does happen.

I don't really see any challenge in a game like this. if they're going to continue making single band editions of GH, then they should try targeting bands with huge back catalogs of music that can cover every tier, not just upper or lower tiers.

Guitar Hero:Beatles is nothing more than a rumor as of right now. I have a hard time believing it because 1.It's wicked expensive and 2. IGN has pulled stunts like this before. The article itself is written with MAYBES and uses no quotes to back up his article.
