Actually, he has missed quite a few notes... but holy s***!!! I can't dream of doing something like that!!!!

The cutaways are annoying. But yeah, you don't get "50 Note Streak" twice unless you miss a note (also, the "miss" sound can be heard quite distinctly when it happens).

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
