...So it's really a matter of preference. Shovelware, on the other hand, seems to simply be the mark of success for a system...

Both of those companies will die before 2011 because they don't whore it up. You need to have franchises that can be whored out every year to survive nowadays. I mean like 5 games a year whoring.

This isn't anything new on Activision's part. Last year when they took over they basically did say they were gonna double the amount of Guitar Hero Products by the end of 2008...which they did. I'm probably gonna get shot for saying this but the whole rhythm fad in gaming is getting old and is probably gonna die very soon if it isn't already dead.
