(that means you, T3hdarkness) I challenge my good friend Dahkness to a gunjin battle. My character shall be Orgon (last page, BoW). The battlefield is a derelict starfreighter hovering in deep space. You can post first, or let me, I don't care. Do you accept the challenge? |

He pulled off his helmet and took a inhaled deeply. The smell was dank and chemical, but not in the way of a completely dead ship. The life support was still active and there may still be water and supplies aboard the ship. He bellowed, "Alright boys, we got us a cherry here, I want everything thats not bolted down and half the stuff that is." His crew started vaulting along the corridors to start looting while he started directly for the main control room. |

He could see the dead bodies of scientists littered across the room, blood spattered across the walls and floor. He guessed that this was a science vessel. He quickly moved to a nearby crate marked "Galactic Federation." He grinned, the Federation always carried valuable equipment in their ships. In a separate room, a slim, dark-colored dragon stepped through the dimly lit corridor, glancing at the battlescarred walls. Orgon could tell that there had been a struggle of some sort. She looked down at the communicator on her wrist. It did indeed show that there were several bioforms moving about the ship. One was directly ahead of her. She cocked her Adjudicator rifle; she knew whatever it was in that control room could be trouble. And as a bounty hunter, she was prepared for most forms of trouble. In the central control room, the pirate busted open one of the large crates. It contained nothing other than food rations and medical supplies, nothing that would sell for much on the black market. He moved to the next crate, perhaps it would contain something of use. Suddenly, one of the bay doors opened. The pirate spun around, his weapon aimed at whatever was entering the room. Orgon entered the control room, rifle raised. She stared at the pirate apprehensively, who stared back. The two remained silent for the longest moment, until finally the dragon spoke. "I recognize you," she said in a gruff, inhuman voice. "You are wanted in several systems." She raised her rifle. "I am Orgon, member of the IBHA. You are under arrest." The pirate grinned, shaking his head. "I won't be going down with out a fight, you spindley lizard." Orgon snorted. "You can either come with me peacefully, and surrender your ship and crew, or we can do this the hard way. Which do you want?" |

"Cuff me and take me in." His wrist clicked and a gout of ether flame engulfed the Ridley officer. He charged, grabbed the reptilian by the throat and slammed her into the wall. Grinning as he squeezed, he said, "You've got a lot to learn if you want to survive in this world." |

The Adjudicator is something like the one from C:NR. And I'll try to be more specific... Check my bio for updates.) Orgon sneered. "Bad choice, my friend." With a swift movement she raised her hooked talons into the air, puncturing the thick armor of the pirate's suit. With a powerful kick from both legs, she pushed her opponent away, giving her ample time to recover. The pirate stumbled, fingering the large gashes in his armor. The ridley raised her rifle at the pirate. "Lucky for me, you're wanted dead or alive." She grinned, showing off her sharp reptilian teeth. "You're worth enough to me dead." |

The female Ridley fired an energy beam at her prey only to have it distort off path and scorch a few crates. The look of surprise even on her reptilian face was apparent. "You think after selling off 80% of my natural body, I wouldn't get at least a light shield in return?" he said grinning. He reached to his side for his heavy bolter and found it missing, "No? I guess I won't need that then. The old fashioned way works just fine" A few plates broke off of his shoulder to allow maximum mobility for his prosthetic arm. The man charged again, relishing the thought of crushing his opponent with just his hands. Each blow she dodged and each bloody kick she delivers only make the man's expression and attacks more frenzied. He proceeds to grab Orgon mid-kick and throw her straight into the floor, leaving a good sized dent at his feet. |

She was very lightweight, as ridleys are airborne creatures they need thinly built bodies for easy flight. While this proved to be a weakness in battle, it also made Orgon very limber, and as she attacked she could easily dodge the moves of her opponent. The pirate continued his assault, sending powerful blows that were relatively easy to evade, while Orgon used the opposite strategy, using quick but fairly weak attacks. She waited for the opportunity to catch her enemy off guard, and hit him with a powerful blow. Her chance came quicker than she expected, as the pirate parried an attack too slowly, leaving a clean path to his face. She sent a swift blow to his kisser, catching him off guard as he spat a curse at the dragon. Though ridleys do not have strong attacks unless they are done with their springy legs, they have durable skin, covered in tiny scutes and barbs that left a painful indentation in the pirate's face. He groped his bleeding nose, as Orgon jumped back, claws raised at her opponent. |

This was the most enjoyable time he had has in months, a creature not afraid to be in touch with its feral side was a welcome treat and the scars would bear a place of honor. He used the ether flame gererator to mask his next move, a flying tackle that pins Orgon to the ground. He raises his arm high in the air for a skull crushing blow. |

With her powerful legs she lifted her opponent off from her, and with one powerful kick she threw him across the room. She quickly stood up, quickly examining the battlefield. There was little that could be used to her advantage, she looked from left to right but found nothing but large storage crates. The pirate was quickly getting to his feet. Orgon looked up at the ceiling, and saw a thick windowed roof that looked out into space. She grinned. If she could puncture the glass, they would both be sucked out into space. She could survive in the vacuum, and he probably would not. Not allowing her opponent time to make his next move she mad a mad dash for her Adjudicator rifle which lay discarded on the floor a few meters away. |

When valuable box of supplies crashed into the wall, his sense of value briefly took precedence over his anger. "You rotten skink," He yelled, "I'll tear you apart and sell you piece by piece." He picked up another crate and proceeded to yell into his microphone, "Get your dirty arses down here, we got a bounty hunter on the bridge and a whole load of Fedie loot. For the love of odd, bring me my bolter." He threw the crate and charged right behind it. |

I'm a bit space-retarded.) Thinking quickly, Orgon opened her mouth, forcing a stream of plasma from her maw, a technique which made the ridleys famous. The superheated flame quickly ate through the crate and its contents and made contact with the pirate. She continued her barrage, until finally she ran out of breath. She grinned, looking at her opponent who lay on the ground. |

"Blast, damn you and your wretched kind." he said, his arm still slag on the ground. One of his crew "Nemisse bolter, now. Go get the ship." His crewman tossed him the huge pistol and proceeded to run like hell away from the bridge. A bolter should never be considered a sidearm, a .75 calibre rocket propelled slug thrower and banned in five systems. He caught the cannon with his remaining hand, grinned maniacally and fired two shots in the Ridley's general direction. |

Sorry for the wait. Orgon quickly jumped to the side, the two slugs colliding with a computer terminal, which quickly disintigrated in a massive fireball, shooting debris and scorched mechanical parts into the air. Looking back at the damage zone, Orgon could see the weapon had created a large crater in the wall, yet had not breached the thick hull. Reptilian eyes darting from the wall to the opponent, and down to the Adjudicator rifle, Orgon processed what to do next. As she did, she could see her enemy preparing for the next move. She wouldn't have time to run this time. Without thinking, she pushed a small button on her communicator, and she disappeared. The pirate seemed shocked momentarily. But he soon realized what had happened. The ridley had activated a cloaking device. She was still in the room. Grinning he turned to look for the slightest sound of reptilian feet against the metal floor, but was suddenly struck at the back of his neck. He fell to the floor, as the invisible Orgon stood above him, her bony hand still ringing from the infamous Ridley Death Chop. She knew that only the most powerful of beings could survive the attack. But she frowned, as she knew her opponent was no normal fighter. |

His heads up display was fuzzy. Switch to active night vision. His scanners lit up as beams of infared bounced around the room. Stay down, he told himself, wait for the perfect moment. Wait for it. . . The Bounty Hunter eyed the fallen warily Wait for it. . . Orgon began to believe he was truly down Wait for it. . . She looked away to find he cuff. NOW. He spun on his remaining arm and tripped while using the inertia to regain his footing. The reptilian woman was up in a moment but the berserker had already started another charge. He slammed into he and kept charking until they hit a wall. He had bit down on her neck and was trying to reciprocate the loss of the limb. Orgon's arm bent unnaturally far before making a sickening SNAP. |

She stared at her arm, now dangling uselessly at her side. No matter, she thought. It wouldn't be that difficult to get it repaired. No permanent damage. She turned to the pirate, deactivating her now-useless cloaking device before it could eat up any more energy. Enough screwing around, she thought. It was time to shatter the hull and suck the pirate out into the vacuum of space. The pain in her arm slowly numbing, she took a step to the side. Her opponent followed her with his eyes and his weapon, making sure she didn't get away. She shifted her eyes to the left and saw her rifle lying on the floor not far away. She began formulating a plan. Growing impatient, Grant took a step forward. Orgon watched him, and suddenly made a swift motion to the right as if jumping to the side. The pirate raised his weapon and fired at the position the ridley would have been standing if she hadn't faked her last move. The slug flew past her and collided with the wall, exploding violently. As Orgon hopped towards her weapon, she opened her jaws and sent a stream of plasma flame from the twin glands in the back of her throat. The fire blazed across the room, enveloping the space pirate. Quickly shutting her mouth, she tumbled to the floor and reached for her rifle. |

Without oxygen, the fire quickly died. Grant's final curses went completely, but fro some reason, he was smiling wide even as his skin began to dry and crack. The entire ship shuddered, and a red ship came into view. It was the Gabriel, unmistakeable by the blazing archon painted on the nose. The utility arm caught Grant during his blue skinned laughter and quickly pulled him into the airlock. Orgon's communicator and first mate Nemisee voice could be heard. "If you want to take down the captain, don't forget about his family." The line went dead and eight of the ships turrets tore through the freighter. |

As the freighter around her was torn asunder, she flew out through the hole in the ceiling, her massive wings spreading apart in the void of space. Leaving the doomed freighter behind, she propelled herself through space and latched onto the hull of the Gabriel. Her claws grabbing hold of whatever they could, she climbed up the ship towards the utility hatch. Unfortunately for her, the hatch did not open from the outside. Growling, she dug her claws into the door, and with immense strength she pulled the metal hatch open. Throwing herself in through the small hole she had made, the utility hatch made a loud squeal before the secondary doors shut, sealing the ship. Orgon looked around, her hand reaching to the small precision pistol buckled to her belt. Her plan to suck the pirate out into space hadn't worked as she had imagined. And it was only a matter of time before the crew figured out where she was. Moving quickly, she shuffled through the dark corridor. (I don't know much about your ship, and I don't want to assume anything about the way it's layed out, so I'll let you take it from here...) |

Do you agree with this and are you ready? |
