Anyway, if anybody is wondering when the next tourney will be, I think we'll be having a third Tournament of Red Lions this year to change things up. Don't expect it exceedingly soon; real life probably won't permit excessive writing on my part until at least mid-May, but it is going to happen. In the meantime, we'll try to finish the Oceansford topic up and enjoy our little skirmishes along the way.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Not sure about the state of the Oceansford topic. I don't really know if I'm going to continue it, and if I do it will be when I don't have so much end-of-the-year work to do at school. Sorry, but that's the way it is; I know it was a huge draw for a bit there, but I never found the time to really plot out exactly how I wanted it to end and exactly what "characters" I was going to use to defend Stone. I wanted it to be more three-dimensional, but much like the Teufal Jihad and its creators before it, it all boils down to me losing my free time and my interest in it. If anyone wants to take over for me, feel free. There isn't much about Lord Stone that you couldn't just make up yourself. Aside from all of that...

PREPARE FOR THE TOURNAMENT OF RED LIONS: PART THREE!

That's right, I typed that in caps lock because this is some bigass ****. I don't know for sure if there are enough people here to do this, but I'm going to at least try. It probably won't go up for another couple of weeks, but in the meantime, I'm going to do a post (or two) in that Zaidon battle I've been procrastinating for ****ing weeks (I am seriously sorry, Zai) and also consider whether or not I want to immediately unleash the other big topic I've cooked up.

I haven't given up yet, and I don't plan to; I've just had a ****load of stuff to do.

Official sign-up topic date for the Red Lions Tournament is May 1st.

My hope is that the signups will be done by May 14th or so. I'm still debating whether or not I plan to participate as a fighter (not a judge, since my last tenure as a judge was disastrous) or just host, but by Mid-May I'm hoping I'll have plenty of free time.

All right, sorry for my ill-timed absence. The semester is over and I now have some time to work on stuff, but bear in mind that I still work in excess of seventy hours a week.

I currently am involved in the following topics:

Siege on Oceansford Castle
Keeping Entertained
First Challenge
Do You Remember?

I will begin picking them up where I left off.

For Do You Remember, I really had not started yet, so I will begin working on a modestly sized entrance post.

For First Challenge, I simply need to generate random carnage.

For Keeping Entertained, I am awaiting a reply to my most recent lackluster post.

For Oceansford, if no one objects, I would like to write a massive five post grand finale. I have seen enough posts from all the characters to portray them well, and I have some ideas for how to wrap this beast up.

If anyone else thirsts for their own death, you need only say so.

Alright. After friday, I will be done with school for a while. I shall start the signups for the Red Lions topic after that. Since I no longer have time to write on most nights, I doubt I'll be actively participating, though I would gladly host.

I'm sorry, but I must object. I apologize if this objection is a disappointment to any, but I have had way too much fun in this topic to see it 'wrapped up' with a megapost from a single writer, epic or not. What do you say, Galefore? A traveller and I could rip huge holes on our own, and that should be enough to revive that topic, but we need a Dungeon Master. If you and Repster can just churn out some posts every once in a while, there's no reason why Siege of Oceansford can't go airborne once again. I drew another castle map, too.

Alright, sounds schweet. We'll finish that mother****er up. However, I would like to make it clear that the Red Lion Tournament is gong up this Saturday, so if you guys are planning on participating in both, be ready to rip a lot of people in half. :P

As soon as Graduation stuff is over and I'm settled into my new schedule (I am a member of two recording bands, and a third that plays the occasional gig, so I'm at music rehearsals at least 6 out of 7 nights a week), I'll get to work on a new chapter of the Oceansford topic and let you guys have at that thang. Or rather, feel free to go ahead and do some stuff while you wait for me. I don't want to hold you up.

As for our battle, Zaidon, I am aware that I am a crushing disappointment, but I do appreciate your massive amount of patience. My life's been pretty hectic for the last little while (in a good way, of course), but I think things may finally calm down a little soon. So I will be investing a good deal of time working on these projects I've started here.

Your neglecting the Zaidon vs. Visonef battle may have been disappointing while Oceansford remained in stasis, but in light of the Siege's hopeful reanimation, I give you permission to regard our one-on-one as a lower priority than The Siege of Oceansford, as I and no doubt many others view Oceansford as a more important event.

Please do not use valuable time to work on our battle if that time could be used on the awesome Open War for the Mighty.

We can just cryo-freeze our battle and thaw it out later.
