posts don't have to be long
anyone can join in, and team up with one of the fighters.
I'll be right back, I'm going to see if I can find any good battlefields in the book of battlefields.

okay, here's a good battlefield: The Arena
basicly, it's a circular battlefield, with people watching and surrounding it.
sort of like an old coliseum.
more rules: people who don't want to fight, can post at any time acting as if they were one in the audience.
if you don't want to team up when you join, you can be for yourself.

I'll be Ultima Link.

Ultima Link stepped into the arena, sword in hand. He heard footsteps in front of him. Ultima Link turned and saw another warrior, his opponent.
"Ladies aand gentlemen," the announcer said."Welcome to the Arena!!
We have an extremely exciting Gunjin battle today, featuring the hero of Hyrule, Link! He has many fans here today! And now, for the battle to begin!"

"Ohh this is exiting my first arena forumish battle since i watched the Nintendoland deathmatches this could be fun" Jere said and turned to the guy to his right.

The man obivus dead from an arrow that had missed its target and hit the guy in the heart is still holding a bag of potato chips.

"you mind" he sais and grabs the bag of chips "ohh and look after this please" then he puts his hat on top of the dead mans head.

"Well the excitement is killing people and i have a bag of potato chips so im good to go"

Oh hey I hate to bother you but could you pull the arrow out of that guy's chest and hand it to me? I forgot my dagger and its not wise to be unarmed at these things the crowd can get kinda uppety now and then.

Hmm, Mayhap I shouldn't have placed so many large bets on this fight... eh it was all properly set up so I shouldn't lose too much on this fight. Though i'm getting quite annoyed by the commentater. * He then tosses his bottle of wine at the nearest PA loudspeaker, the bottle breaks spilling its contents and shorts out the speaker with a rather entertaining lightshow of electrical sparks.* Well what do you know it was good for something after all.
