(ok this is my first try so please don't hold back on the powers but please explain if i do something wrong)

Battlefield: The field of battle.

Jere walked around this great field he wasn't sure he had managed to find himself on and looked in all directions in search of some civilisation but the only thing he saw was Green grass and some trees.

The chill of the air said him that this was a place that many people had been iether A: Been really pissed on or B:Used to dump drunk bikers who had a 2 weeks party and needed some place to sober up.

"Well this is not very bright, guess i have to keep on walking"

(ok not a big epic explanation but come on i have never done anything like this and i bid anyone that feel that he have time to deal whit a newbie on this place to participate, but kep it 1 on 1 please)

Hey, glad to have you start. Just follow the rules, try to write well, and FIGHT. I'll edit in my post by tomorrow.

He was in a trenchcoat looking just as old, and on his back hung a gigantic scabbard, 7 feet long- which should have been dragging him down but wasn't. His icy blue eyes looked out, and seemed out of place here--in a field. Even though he felt made for Battlefields, He didn't look like one for actual fields. He liked it here on the Field of Battle, though. He was one for either a Temple, a Workshop, or a Battlefield-- for he was Johannes Engelbrecht, Warrior, Sage and Machinist.
At the moment he was in a Warrior mood, and wanted to fight-- which is why he'd come here. he looked around and saw a confused man with a black hat and shades; he looked pretty streetwise. Johannes looked into his concealed eyes.

"You!", Johannes' aged, aged voice called out, even though it had the feeling behind it of a four-star general yelling orders or a Greek orator giving a speech.

The Mystery Man walked towards Johannes in a friendly, cordial manner, but with a slight air of suspicion from Johannes' forceful greetings, and extended his right arm towards Johannes in a handshake and said, "Hello! I'm Jere. Nice to meet you."
Johannes accepted the handshake, and replied, "I am Johannes. and now we FIGHT."
"Wa-" Jere said, but was interrupted by the old man taking a shortsword out of his trenchcoat and preparing to strike.

Jere reacted like anybody else in his position should react when a old man whit a big moustache try to hit him, he jumped to the side and yelled "are you crazy i will not try to hit a old man", but "the old man" decided to try to hit him whit the shortsword again which made him to decide that this man need some serious beating before he hurt somebody, "and that somebody would be me" Jere thought before he dodged another attack from that shortsword.

He tried to gain some distance between them so he could get out his whip, "ok old man here is the deal, im not very happy whit kick old mens bottoms but i think you need some beating" Jere said and swung the whip forward towards Johannes.

The Whip hit Johannes right in the face,...and...nothing happened. at all.

"Do you really think your average, fragile old man would have the will to challenge a young stranger to a fight? With senility and dementia, yes, but..." The Whip hit him again, just as ineffectual "...I am not senile. faaaar from senile." Jere considered it wise to start backing away. Engelbrecht's tone turned ominous-"I am the least senile man in the world, in fact. do you really know what it means to be present? You think you're in this moment? You're most likely not. You must clear your mind of all its trash and distractions--see nothing but Now---" Jere decided to cut the crap and took out his 45 and fired a shot. As he did, Johannes threw the shortsword away and reached behind himself and swung the absurdly long broadsword out of its sheath, right into the path of the bullet; deflecting it. "See what I mean?" The sagely warrior said excitedly. While he did this, he pressed a small bejeweled switch on the sword's hilt, and it separated down the middle into two seven-foot long swords. Jere now considered it a good idea to back away a bit more.

He swung both blades in Jere's direction, and he jumped back quickly enough to avoid them. He ran backwards away from the old warrior, shooting at his opponents' forehead with his 45 a few times--and hitting each time.
Johannes' head reeled back with each blow-you could see it snap back a bit with each shot.

Jere saw him still standing, and was surprised--especially as Johannes rubbed the minor bruise on his forehead and said "Damn-- You're a good shot! though it's too bad it won't matter.." he then proceeded to run towards The Man with the Shades and stabbed both swords into both of his sides. he retracted them and put the sword back together--and pressed a red ruby button on the hilt. Energy crackled through the blade. He slammed it into Jere's left shoulder, leaving a gash and sending a jolt of lightening through his body.

(Note: im going away for 2 weeks so uppdating this might become hard but please update, I will be whitout internet about 2-4 days at its longest, so don't think im abandoning this).

The jolt of thunder did 2 things, hurt like hell and burned the flesh in his shoulder
so it stopped bleeding. "well old man I gave up the thought about you being a old wrinkly fart but its not good to just randomly attack people you meet, its not nice" Jere told as he continued to dodge the attacks, but now held his left shoulder whit his right hand.

Johannes continued this attacks that Jere continued to dodge "This is not good im starting to get tired and my shoulder hurts like hell, and this guy is strong" Jere thought, The only thing that flowed through Johannes head was to stab/slash/kill this person.

A sudden realisation got through Jere's head and he started to smile "Well old man its have been fun to play around whit you but i have to stop this before someone, like me, gets hurt" he said between the dodging, when he said this he throwed himself down on the ground and whit all his force kicked Johannes at his right knee, which gave out a loud crack as his knee bend in the wrong direction, Jere didn't want to stay in the range of the sharp knifes, so he rolled to the side as soon he heard the crack.

Jere thought, What the hell is this dude? What kind of berserker gives philosophy lectures in the middle of a fight?
Once again he ignored Johannes' meandering and ran forwards for another kick.
Once again, Johannes diverted it easily with the broadsword. But his time he pressed an uncarved Black Pearl on the blade, and three strands of black barbed wire slithered rapidly from the tip as if they were three spined hydra, and wrapped around Jere's leg. Johannes raised the broadsword into the air, taking Jere with it, and then released the wires from the sword. They were still stuck in Jere's leg as he flew through the air, and still stuck as Johannes grabbed a dagger out of his coat and flung it at Jere's midsection.

The dagger hit Jere at the side of his chest, but it hitted the holster for the gun so it didn't do much realy, but still trapped in the wire both he and Johannes was unable to move, Jere due to the wires and Johannes due to his now knee that pointed in a angle a knee isnt suppose to bend.

"well ok i forgot my rifle and im not sure if this guy have more daggers coming at me but im not interessed to know if he have any more" Jere said and started to back away from Johannes thinking "damnit why do i always have to meet these wierdos everywhere".

Jere decided that it was time for some hellova luck to untagle this and get out alive.
"he started to untangle his wires but Johannes decided to take teh chance to throw a new dagger at him, he forsaw it so he dodged it but he realised that this can't be good.

He managed to get up stand up then he took of his hat and said "old man i aknowlede you strenght, but i think we have ended up in a tie here, but as i think you have the upper hand i surrender" then Jere Bowed and though "please let the fart miss if he tries to git me whit somehing".

Johannes nodded his head deeply in acknowledgment of the surrender. He said, "I accept. I hope we have both learned something-and you might want these." and tossed him a pair of wire cutters from out of his coat. He bowed in a similar manner as Jere, said "Farewell", and began limping away.
