Anyone can join at any time, and more than 2 people can fight at a time. I'll be Bob. Arena: Mushroom Kingdom

Bob woke up with a fright. He lookes around, panting. "W...where am I?" He got up and looked around. It was a sunny field, with trees, hills, and midgets that looked like turtles. "Everything has eyes? What the hell is this place?" A noise behind him caught his attention. Bob pulled out his sword and prepared for battle.

OoC: Bass is from the Mega Man universe and I'll be using the original Mega Man series' "Bass" (from Mega Man & Bass).

Bass woke up under a tree. He was still trying to piece together how he came to where he was when he noticed 2 warriors he assumed to be enemies. He fired his Bass Buster at the figure known as Viscan.

The world here was shimmering with nonsense. It was a clean-cut grassy field with many small hills (....Which had eyes) and large green pipes coming out of the ground. There were tan cubes floating in the air, some of them with question marks on them. Tiny brown fungus-like beings with fangs and were walking around in straight lines and cartoonish tortoises were walking around upright. The sun was shining and there weren't many clouds, but those that were there....had Eyes.

Out of one of the pipes emerged...something.

It looked like a scarecrow, an animate scarecrow. Its head was a lit Jack-o-Lantern, grinning with just a hint of malice, with a long-brimmed, stylishly shady straw hat on top of it. A leather belt hung across his waist with a pitchfork and an odd-looking crowbar hanging from it limply. It had on long burlap pants and a long-sleeved, dark green shirt. Actually, it wasn't really dressed in them so much as they contained the mass of white asbestos that was its wiry body, which frayed out at the feet and was contained at the ends of each arm by worn leather gloves. The left glove held a scythe presently. This thing's name was Vengeance. But most people just called him Ven.

And Ven called the world he had just entered "friggin' weird". ...What the hell?...this is...just...friggin' weird.. were his first puzzled thoughts. This is like....a... His thoughts, however, were interrupted by the sound of a blast from robotic being underneath a tree. Ven decided to have a good time despite being confounded. He did an incredible, 20-foot leap off of the pipe into the battle, swinging reecklessly at the head of the tall guy who had just been hit...

Bob turned around to see a reaper-esque creature about to cut off Bass' head. "Watch out!" Bob yelled and kicked Bass hard in the side. The force of the kick sent Bass skidding across the floor. Bob then threw a punch which hit Ven's left jawbone.

Bob looked around at the group of people. He wondered why they were brought here, and why he was brought here. He then thrusted his sword at Viscan.

"How long has it been? I remember no one, but at the same time, I'd rather not" said the being watching from a stone castle about 5 miles away from the actual battle. Two guys had swords, one was completley naked (due to not being described >_>) and the other a Knight from a far off land. Then, there was the android, Bass. Qual knew him from other dimensions. Finally....a scarecrow....with a scythe. "Time to show them what fighting is all about" Said the being

He wore a rust colored tanktop and jeans. He checked his ponytail to make sure nothing was in it, then he stared back at the fighters. Little did they know what he could do....

The being ran full force at the fighter, knocking over everyone but the scare crow, who was only pushed back by the wind. "Salutations, dear fellows. The name is Qual." said the being as he saw the three fighters get back up from the initial blow "I would tell you my ability, but you'll find it out soon enough." Qual put his left hand behind his back and smiled evily at them, as if he was waiting for them.

Ven sat up and narrowed his eyes at Qual. He didn't like fighters who acted all mysterious and arrogant. His new position, after being blown back, was about 15 feet behind and a bit to the left of Qual. Ven took advantage of this vantage point by grabbing the crowbar from his belt (which on closer inspection was seen to have a cylinder and trigger on it very much like that of a revolver), pulled the trigger and fired a lead slug into Qual's back. As soon as Qual yelled from the pain and surprise, The Scarecrow was in the air, making a fantastic jump over Qual's head. As he flew he made a point of whacking Bob in the face with the crowbar, the force of the blow increased by Ven's own velocity. He landed about 20 feet away, on his legs and left hand (which still held the scythe).

Suddenly, Bob and Qual were rushing towards him, and Bass had just fired a bolt of energy at Ven. He evaded this by doing a backflip onto one of the strange hills, landing on its eyes, Which felt pretty weird underneath his feet. Focusing the candle flame within his pumpkin head, furiously blazing jets of flame shot forth from his triangular eyes and jaggedly carven mouth, sweeping across the field at his opponents.

Unbeknownest to the 5 warriors, a dark figure was watching their battle from the top of a hill, which was a safe distance from the battle. The figure donned a long black trenchcoat, which covered most of his body, as well as black knee-length boots. Under his trenchcoat was a green T-shirt with the sleeves torn out, and a pair of blue jeans with holes in the knees.

The trenchcoated figure watched as the fighters carried out their battle, when suddenly, he saw 2 familiar faces. He recognized Ven, a scarecrow that he had battled some time ago, was one of the people fighting. He also noticed that Qual, another old "friend" of his, was also fighting.

Qual. Nightshade remembered that name quite vividly. The two had battled before in a free-for-all on a deserted island. Qual had injured him quite severely that day, and since then, Nightshade had made a solemn vow to get his revenge on the demon-man. Well, now was as good a chance as ever.

Nightshade teleported into the arena and promptly walked over to Qual. "Remember me?" the trench-coated man smirked at the demon man as he prepared his crowbar for battle.

Bass was taken by surprise by the sudden number of potential foes. Though maybe most of them weren't even after him at the moment, he figured it'd be best to send a message to them. He suddenly turned purple and pointed to the sky. Purple bolts of lightning swirled around everyone. He wasn't sure his Lightning Bolt would even be noticed by some of the stronger looking foes but he didn't really care either way.

Qual didn't expect the scarecrow to pull a Crowbar looking gun, nor did he expect the creature to spit fire....or Nightshade popping up.

"Remember me?" Said Nightshade, pulling out his crowbar as per the usual. He had a crowbar, but Qual though that he probably had a million things in his trench coat. The Fire swept around them, but neither of them thought much of it. Qual formed a Sword from mid-air. It was a very large sword, and organs were in the sword itself, with a inhumanly large eye sticking out. "Didn't expect you, Nightshade." said Qual. "I trust you've gone beyond spitting on people when they're down." "Oh, shut up" Said Nightshade, who looked ready to pound Qual's face in, "So I'm not some sort a perfect gentleman. So what? Winning is still winning and losing is still losing."

"WHAT WAS THAT?"

Nightshade attempted to attack Qual with the crowbar in his hand, but Qual swiftly dodged the attack. Qual then attempted to cut Nightshade open with a horizontal slash, but Nightshade ducked before it could hit him. Quall attempts to slam the sword down on Nightshade, but he quickly jumps out of the way.

Suddenly, Bob runs his sword into Qual's shoulder, not thinking of his actions on the battlefield. Qual grabs the swors and turns his head 180 degrees to look at Bob, eyes widened at the sight.

"DO YOU MIND?! I'M FIGHTING A RIVAL AND ALL YOU CAN THINK ABOUT IS CUTTING IN!"

The sword dissappeared, replaced with a different kind of Sword. It was a beam of Light that looked like a Nerd's accessory. Then Qual twisted in an almost grotesque manner, pulling the sword out of Bob's hands and slamming the lightsaber into his shoulder, causing the blood to gush out unrealistically.

The area at first was peaceful, and at everyone was at ease. Tough luck.

Instead of having a peaceful day, why don't you watch the battle that's soon going to destroy all your homes? I don't think the police are going to be able to help with this. Or even that plumber guy. Let's watch the battle before you all get killed.

Only some of the people noticed the sky darkening. But, it was 3 PM.

And after the sky was pitch black, a sudden dark aura filled the area.

And as the darkness disappeared, appeared a man covered in black and grey clothing. There was black cloth wrapped around him, covering his mouth, and the top of his head, black shaggy hair going over his eyes.

He was known as Sin. And many thought he was Death himself.

OoC: Look at Tazy's last post, it didn't mention my Lightning Bolt attack at all. Not everything is gonna be perfect, maybe I just overlooked the fact that I didn't detail my defense. Sorry for the confusion. I'll make an edit soon to acknowledge the fire, hopefully that will be satisfactory.
