Speed, Let's End This!

Since 1-Up allowed me to adopt Kiruga as my own character, I decided to at least try to end the Speed-Kiruga feud once and for all!

Standard Gunjin rules apply

The Battlefield will be Station Square from SA1.

You post your intro first.

OOC: Sorry I haven't checked here in awhile, been busy with life and stuff.

Speed walked out of the Cafe at Station Square, it had been months since his last showdown with a worthy opponent and he was itching for a fight.

He took a sip of Cola as he sensed something...a force that he had almost forgotten.

"Looks like I finally have another chance...for revenge."

He walked towards a back alley, not wanting to involve any civilians.

"If I recall the bastards pretty broken and he seems stronger then before...this will not be an easy fight."

He smirked.

"Then again...when is it ever easy for me."

Kiruga was walking around Station Square, just enjoying the sights of the city. Suddenly, he saw a rather familiar figure in an alley.

"It's him." Kiruga said to himself, as he prepared for battle. "I thought I was rid of you, hedgehog."

"Man of few words aren't we now..."

Speed drew his ARK Katana and channeled his Chaos Energy through it.

He used the chaos energy to form a barrier around his body and then ran at Kiruga delivering a homing attack.

Kiruga grunted as he was knocked back by Speed's homing attack, combined with the Chaos barrier. "Didn't you know, hedgehog? Actions speak louder than words." he sneered as he summoned Ruzener, his trusty sword, and blocked an incoming vertical slash from Speed's ARK Katana.

Kiruga then slashed diagonally into the Chaos barrier, breaking it apart. Kiruga then did a horizontal slash across Speed's chest, leaving a rather nasty gash that would most likely become a scar.

"Frig...I let you get the jump on me..."

He adjusted his stance and went on the defensive.

This is a fight won only with strategy...

Kiruga threw a lightning-fast flurry of punches at Speed, only for the white hedghehog to dodge all of them. The strange man then caught Speed off-guard with a kick to the temples, sending him flying into a parking lot, and crashing into a bunch of cars, before landing with a THUD. Several vehicles were sent into the air, much to the screams of the townspeople. One unlucky citizen was crushed by a green Ford Mustang, while another car crashed into the local burger joint, giving the employees and customers quite a scare.

Kiruga then took a moment to absorb the darkness surrounding him, surprisingly, there was quite a bit, and he could feel himself getting more and more powerful with each bit of darkness he absorbed. Finally, after feeling satisfied, he stopped absorbing, and prepared for Speed's next attack.

"You got some sick hobbies bro..." Speed threw the ARK Katana through Kiruga's chest before homing attacking the hilt of the sword, driving it even further in.

"How's that for darkness?"

"Argh!" Kiruga yelled, as the sword barely missed his heart. "Pretty good, but it'll take more than that to beat me, as powerful as I am right now." he said, as he pulled the ARK Katana out, and threw it at Speed, the sword slicing through the hedgehog's right shoulder.

Speed winced, as his shoulder squirted blood out of the wound. Kiruga then shot a dark lightning bolt at Speed, hitting the hedgehog right in the chest.
