But, hey, I don't know who still fights here. It's been five years! And I've only gotten better because of it. So then, whoever decides to mosey on down here will be treated to combat style dating back to the Hyrule Battlefield era. ---------------------------------------------------- * A slight breeze blew over the battlefield, a dry and cracked lakebed. This desert hadn't seen rain for years. Ominous, daggerlike mountains protruded in the distance, surrounding this former river valley. And in the middle of it, shining in the sun, was Metal Man. He had been training for years of solitude, waiting for the day that he would make his return to the ancient art of battling. Now that he felt ready, he had come prepared for anything. He sent a general summons to anyone who felt worthy of fighting an ancient battler, and awaited to see who his opponent would be... * |

I have old fighters, but never posted them in the book of warriors, would you like me to before we begin? Or should we just go ahead? |

I was probably never in the book of warriors either. I was always below the radar, even in the ye olde days. An' I like surprises. |

The dust of the road makes quick work of turning the black cuffs of his pants a rusty, brown color, but he ignores it. The thin, white wife-beater on his toned chest and abdomen slips around his muscles as he walks, his arms ruffling against the sides of his pants. The wife-beater may seem inappropriate, but it is the easiest thing for him to wear, as behind his shoulder blades an extra set of limbs, in this case a long, powerful set of white wings, sits flat and relaxed on his back. Unlike his pants cuffs, he does keep his wings perched up a bit, so their wingtips do not drag against the earth. Between his wings, his long, blond hair waves gently in the wing, the ends mimicing the bangs as they, too, brush against his fair face in the wind. Behind these bangs, red, peircing eyes look out into the landscape, the one feature on his body that seems to spoil an otherwise look of innocence. There seems to be nothing to threaten him around, he relaxes his eyes a bit and keeps moving forward, kicking up small clouds of dirt as he goes. |

Emerging out of the dusty haze of the desert, Metal man looked at his opponent. Wearing his traditional cybernetic armor, the extremely streamlined man looked at his opponent with an observant gaze. * "It has been three years since I last battled here. Let you be the first since the legends of times past to have experienced my fury. Engage!" * High tech to the core, Metal whipped out a laser machinegun in his right hand and a blue photon riot shield in his right. Taking safety behind his shield, he opened fire with several strafing shots of fast-moving lasers. While extremely fast, the lasers required excellent aim, and thus many of them missed the target at the speed of light. Those that hit pierced their target with a vengeance, rendering all but the most magical or high-tech armor as useless. All the while, Metal made various defensive movements to ensure that he would not be an easy target when his opponent eventually counter-attacked. * |
