| Needle in the Hay | The battle shall take place at the Shaolin Temple. You can post your own introduction/walk-in/whatever you want to call it. (FYI in case you didn't notice... which you probably did but I'm just making sure.. my Wong Fei Hung isn't historically accurate) Fei Hung places his sword back on the rack and shadowboxes with an imaginary opponent while waiting for his challenger... who happens to be his own father if I'm getting the lineage right... to arrive. Feeling a bit rusty, seeing as he hasn't had a good fight in years, Master Wong stretches, then suddenly shakes his whole body, as if he caught a sudden chill. He bows, keeping his eyes on his opponent, as he sees Kay Ying walk into the Temple. Last edited by Bomby; 08-02-2006 at 05:24 PM. |

Join Date: Apr 2000 Location: The Planet of Eternal Darkness Gender: Posts: 9,953 Thanks: 1,100 Thanked 251 Times in 183 Posts | OOC: My Won Kay Ying character is not historically accurate so no worries. The wise teacher of the Wu-Tang style stood at the entrance to the temple and bowed his head in respect to the kung-fu master awaiting his arrival. A good five feet stood between the famous Wong Fei Hung and the legendary Won Kay Ying. The two shared a silent look as a small gust of wind blew some of the autumn leaves from the temples garden into the hallway. Both men were of equal stature and build, and both had extensive knowledge of martial arts which would aid them in this battle of skill. Before any of the leaves could settle upon the floor the battle between the two masters had begun. Like a bullet from the barrel of a gun Won Kay Ying shot into the air easily clearing the distance between them and fired off a vicious kick to the head of his opponent. Fei Hung, fast to react, raised his hand to block Won Kay Ying’s kick and engaged his enemy with a parade of skillful blocks and counter maneuvers. WKY (won kay ying) began to fire off punches and strikes to the body while sliding his kicks underneath Fei Hung’s guard. Using the Killer Bee stance of the Wu-Tang clan WKY waited for Fei Hung to strike so that he could counter his attack and gain the upper hand. His opportunity came when the young kung fu master smashed his closed fist into the left shoulder of his enemy. WKY immediately raised his left hand and wrapped his arm along side his enemies, intertwining the two appendages like a braid of hair. Opening his palm, WKY cupped his hand underneath Fei Hung’s armpit, and then with a quick and violent jerk, yanked the warrior towards him. A “No Shadow” kick shot right into Won Fei Hungs abdomen as he came forward, then just as the force of the kick itself pushed him backwards the hand which still held a firm grip underneath his armpit pushed upward popping it from it’s socket. WKY unwound his arm from his enemies, spun back ward, back flipped and landed in a White Lotus Crane position. “Hight” __________________ Now every post can have headbangy goodness |

| Needle in the Hay | "Augh" Fei Hung thought to himself, trying not to puke from the kick to the abdomen. After winding his arm a few times, he gained his composure back, and was able to relax mentally for a few seconds. WFY then signaled for his opponent to come near, in an attempt to trick him. As WKY approached, Fei Hung quickly clenched his left hand into a fist and attempted to land a punch between his opponent's eyebrows. WKY, however, blocked the fist, and Fei Hung's attempt to trip his opponent didn't fare much better than the punch. Fei Hung attempted a few more punches, two of which hit Kay Ying in the chest (without much effect) but the rest getting blocked, before suddenly pulling a roundhouse kick at a speed which even Chuck Norris would envy, hitting his opponent and causing him to stumble back a few meters, while Fei Hung jumped back. With his arms still weak from WKY's attack, Fei Hung knew that he would not be able to execute well in Mantis style, so he switched to the Shaolin Eagle, springing toward Kay Ying like a crow swooping to attack a land animal. Just as he was about to reach his opponent, he kicked his right leg forward, aiming for Kay Ying's chest but swiftly hitting his arm instead. Fei Hung turned quickly to his opponent with both his arms cocked to defend, unsure of what kind of retaliation to anticipate. |
