War

[Double Genocide]

There are two sides. My side and the next posters side. After that, come into the war and choose sides. (try to keep it even though)

Rules:

Characters:
-Use up to 4 characters.
-Characters can come in any time but must be created before now.
-Characters must stay on on one side. (e.i. 2 of my characters can't be on opposing sides.)

Enter the War:
-When you enter just post the intro. (No "I'm in" or "count me in")
-If the match-ups are 2 VS 1 at the time you wish to come in, join the lesser group.

Fighting:
-Try to keep it 1-on-1.
-No life draining.
-No trading sides.
-No summoning.
-No transforming.

Elimination:
-If you remain dormant for a long period of time, your characters will be killed off will be killed off. I'll leave the limit for 3 days for 1 fighter.
(e.i. Fighters A and B are fighting on side A. The poster forgets about the topic or loses interest in it. 3 days pass and fighter A is killed of. 3 more days and fighter B is now dead.)
-If you are going on vacation or something and are unable to post, let me know.

Winning:
Victory is awarded to the last side standing. (When there is no more people left on the losing side.)

Arena:
-A towering plateau with an icy cave on the west edge, a small forest on the east edge, a field of large rocks on the south edge, a vast plain in the center, and an old landfill on the north edge.

OoC: Let's see how well this goes.

The ancient plateau was never spoken of. It is unknown how the warrior hosting the event knew of it. It takes almost a full day to climb the rocky structure.
Suddenly, out of the forest came a creature. This was no ordinary creature, however. This was a creature who's race was thought to be extinct. It was a cybernetic minotaur weilding an unusually large battle axe who went by the name of "Beast." He was ready for his first fight since the Dwarven War. He wasn't going to let all those years of commanding the most powerful army in Minotaurian history go to waste. Beast stepped into the edge of the plain, awaiting both challengers and allies. He was ready...to destroy.

[Erdawn Il Deus]

OoC - What the heck.

A heavily tatooed blond man, standing amidts hoary pines and frosted birch trees, in the light snow, almost bear-armed, wearing boiled black animal leather sewn and draped in the fur of slain forest gods (Boar and Bear and Wolf and Elk), actually wearing a headress of elkgod antlers as a momento of his brutal victories. His listened and smelled on the wind and snow, bearded trim under the lip and ringed in the ears. This man was a young Yuri, still early in the years of his discipline. He had come here to fight, and off his body hung numerous weapons (more notably a large, bulbous metallic rifle hanging from the back of his hip).

OoC: Whatever side. Against Alex cuz there's only 2 of us.

Ooc: Im with Alex!
Out from the shadows came a young man-a blond haired, skinny boy with a green tunic (im not trying to look like Link!) and brown, leathery pants. He had a sword-no shield-and a belt. This boys name is Jace, and he's very determined to fight any battle, partner or no partner, or in this case, partner.

Ooc: We need someone to be on Erdawn Il Deus side, or this will be unfair.

OoC: I wanted to be on Alex's side, but by the looks of it, im gonna have to be on the Erdawn Il Deus side. It's actually a 3 vs 1 right now.

He felt like he couldnt breathe at this height, since he's used to lower levels. But Peron came anyway, making good time as he climbs. Once he gets up the rock formation, he quickly runs to his side and thinks I hope this is going to be a good fight.

I tend to think it's fair odds for Erdawn in a 3 vs. 1 =P

OoC: I don't care how could Erdawn his (and believe me...I know he's good) I'd still like the odds to be even. And it looks like it 's good enough for now. Next fighter has to be on Erdawn's side though.

Beast looked around the field. There were already 5 fighters.

Beast: The contest is me versus the painted one. Which one of you three will join me.

Killer: I'm with you.

Jace: Me too.

Peron: No way I'm teaming up with an ugly thing like you.

Peron walked to the other side and faced Beast's team.

Beast: Hmmm. Three against two does not seem fair at all. We shall see who else joins the fight. CHARGE!

Beast ran at Yuri, axe raised and ready to attack. Yuri prepared himself.

EDIT: I misread Erdawn's post. I'm facing Yuri apperently. Sorry about that.

OoC: I'll be on Erdawn's side. My character's bio is on page 6 of the Book of Warriors.

A figure stared at the top of the giant plateau from the bottom. He saw another person quickly reach the top.

This'll take me a while... the figure thought to himself as he scanned the rocky side of the plateau. He put his right hand on a rock, followed by his left hand. His long climb had begun.

Alex, did you even read Erdawn's post? It said he's using a younger version of Yuri, the same guy you fought in that tournament oh-so-long ago.

OoC: In all seriousness, if you guys would rather be on the same team, you can take me on all at once :P You'll just be making my day. Otherwise I'm fine as it is.

Speed is not part of the true Way of strategy. Speed implies that things seem fast or slow, according to whether or not they are in rhythm. Whatever the Way, the master of strategy does not appear fast. Really skilful people never get out of time, and are always deliberate, and never appear busy. From this example, the principle can be seen.

When your opponent is hurrying recklessly, you must act contrarily and keep calm. You must not be influenced by the opponent. Train diligently to attain this spirit.

The Go Rin No SHo, the Book of Five Rings. The Wind Book. Beast might well have done to study it, being the commander of the Minotauren armies. Might well have done.

Yuri was like a stone wall, even his breathing so deliberate and focused his lungs should have been burning for oxygen, and he never blinked, even as Beast's monstours hulk filled up the image of the world before him, the muscles of his arms creaking as the heavy blade was brought back far enough to part his adversary into two symmetric halves. Yuri could see the froth of his saliva bubbling from his lips and the veins in the whites of his eyes.

Beast attacked, and Yuri moved. The Minotaur's arms came down and Yuri stepped forward, too close, too close inside the edge's reach, and his right arm stabbed upwards punching his fingers into the tendons of Beast's wrists as they came down, and they went nerveless and the axe shot through the air like a missile into the snow. Yuri slid backwards and down and his left arm was thrust straight from the power in his waist like a spear, smashing knuckle between Beast's eyes and accordeoning his neck to his spine to his hips even as the longhunter sidestepped, shooting his right forward into the meat of Beast's throat, bringing it around, and landing an unorthodox blow to the top of his skull like a sledge hammer of knuckle and bone, whiplashing the cybernetic warrior's skull from his shoulders. Blood hit the snow. Beast's legs went Jell-O.

At this point, his companions were reacting, and attacking, charging the longhunter from both sides. Yuri's hands splapped against Beast's horns. "Fists of the Bear Priest", and his muscles bulged (and barely around him, his aurau seemed to mimick the silhouette ghost of an immense, ancient bear) and he lifted Beast up over his head by the horns (there was something unnaturally calm about him as he did), his strenght duplicated for precious seconds.

"Hooves of the Elk King", and like a galloping horse the longhunter ran forwards (Beast still in tow like an enormous minotaur for crying out loud) towards the young Jace, who had drawn his blade (and who's pupils shrunk to pinpoints as Yuri closed in).

With a massive surged of power, Yuri swung Beast on top of Jace like an enormous sledge, pounding the young warrior into the ground like a nail, dust kicked up around him like sea-foam.

He leapt forward, and landed hands first, spring on to his feet some yards away in a crouch, facing Killer, and for a second, his entire image blured and shimmered and distorted and he was again unnaturally calm.

Was it even Yuri?

OoC2: Teams seem to be even so far. I'm bringing in my second character.

Beast lay nearly unconcious on top of Jace. Yuri was indeed a great warrior. Beast rolled of of Jace and thought of a way to attack. His legs were useless for the time being and his left arm had been scratched by Jace's blade when Beast landed on him. Fortunately, minotaurs had skin as hard as steel so the scratch had no effect on him. Beast had to rely on wits and his cybernetics. Beast raised his right arm and out popped a blaster. Yuri was facing Killer so he would not have noticed the attack. That is if Killer had not seen it and jumped out of the way. Beast took aim. Yuri looked behind him to see why Killer moved. As he turned his head, Beast fired away and Yuri was hit with a Barrage of Blaster shots.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of plateau, a hedgehog was beginning his climb to the top. He was about a quarter of the way there when he passed by a mech suit. An man by the name of Alex was piloting this mech. He stopped and looked at the hedgehog.

Alex: Oh this is just too funny. A hedgehog wants to fight in the Plateau Battle.

X-3: I'm not just going to fight in it. I'm going to win it.

Alex: You don't stand a chance. You won't even make it to the top.

At these word, the mech suit aimed it's cannon at X-3 and fired. A chunk of the plateau was blown off. This chunk of rock was the same peice that X-3 was hanging on to. X-3 got on top on the falling rock and jumped for the plateau. He grabbed on to a slab of rock. He had survived, but had to start again for he was just a few feet away from the ground.

Alex: Your better than I thought, kid. But like I said before, you won't make it to the top.

The mech suit slammed it's fist into the rock. Another chunk of rock fell from the plateau. Only this time, it was headed right for X-3.

Alex: That'll take care of him.

Alex made his way to the top.

[X-3]

X-3 quickly stared at the rock, then raised his left hand, while holding on to the slab with his right. Suddenly, white energy came out of no where and covered the hand in the air.

"I hope this works... X-3 thought as the white energy flew off his hand and towards the falling rock. When the energy collided with the rock, the rock exploded. The energy then quickly reformed around X-3's hand and shot off again, followed by another small explosion.

X-3 put his left hand back on the slab. He hoped his idea worked. He looked up, ready to see if any big pieces of rock were coming. Only small pieces hit X-3.

"Good..." X-3, grinning, started to climb again. "Wait, I should get back at him! X-3 thought about this for a while, but decided against it. "The battle is at the top...Not in the middle or at the bottom.

OoC: This isn't going as planned. But anyway.

Eliminations:
Jace via Beast landed on him
