^A quick note: Am I seeming God-Mode? If I am, just tell me. I was looking at my last post, and goodness, I felt like I overdid it...

OoC: Not at all, its very interesting to have to find ways to counter your attacks and field changes, in fact, at first i was a little worried you might think I was godmodding, in fact, I was worried with my last post that you'd get defensive because I wiped out your thunderstorm you had just made . . .

OoC: Here it is, finally.

Galefore stood motionless and brooded silently to himself. His eyes closed peacefully, and he felt the chill of the small flakes of snow touching him, his armor warming him from the frigid drizzle, and his mind now on the thoughts of peace. An archangel calming a storm and then replacing it with due peace, and this peace made in silence save a few grunts and flaps, whereas the storm was conjured by noise, and noise sustained it. What haughtiness had taken over Galefore to even think that his storm would be kept? What thoughts could he use, what power to unlock, what deed to do now could save him from this situation: An angel whose swords blocked conventional attack and whose will blocked supernatural cataclysm! Such a situation required quick thinking, but the serenity of the falling snow brought no manner of hatred to Galefore’s mind, and he fell under desire to finish this quickly. He still felt the bite of his wounds taking blood from his veins, but he would just have to bleed for a little while longer, and Seraph would run dry if Galefore had the last say in it!

“My awful behavior is apologized now, on my part in the least; I’ve been cocky as usual, a façade, but a personality I take too seriously sometimes. Allow me to finish this with strategy. Dash my hopes for expecting the merest of my strategies to avail! Never once have they won, and the least I expected wasn’t to win with them, but here I stand awestruck… It’s dubious, but the fight must continue… SO we continue, huh, ol’ buddy, we ain’t done yet!” Galefore said this as the angel continued flying. From the studs in the gloves he wore, Galefore once more levitated and entered the air, his sword now once more in hand and his eyes scanning for openings.

None.

The wounds they had sustained dripped blood like falling rain, and soon, if at all, there would be a torrent. Galefore had much pain as he released his energy. He was now thinking of ways to use his power against Seraph. But, in a wild idea, Galefore thought that even a lightning elemental, which is a broad term referring to the magical being who controls electricity in the Elemental Cycle, could control magnetic energy. So he commanded his being into summoning a steeple head, and as he levitated with one hand, he used the other one, which was equipped with a sword, to fling magnetically the first of many steeples at Seraph. Seraph must of thought in laughable, because he easily ducked the first. Galefore threw a second, and then a third, and eventually chased Seraph into an area where he was surrounded by church steeples. Galefore grinned. He summoned his every wit into his next attack, which was not at all an easy one to execute, not at all in any way.

Galefore’s concentration began to create a tremulous unbalance of great steeples, shaking as Galefore’s eyes became bloodshot and his gnashing teeth visible as he pulled and strained his ability to bring the steeples to a center, which he had created by altering the charge in Seraph’s bladed weapons. Seraph looked around distraught, but Galefore continued to concentrate.

And concentrate.

And concentrate….

Soon, the shaking was audible, the roof trembling in pressure…

And it went on, the silence, and it was unnerving and painful.

Soon, the attack brought forth a very discomforting noise, and Seraph began to fly downwards to avoid the steeples, now detached and flying towards him at a speed beyond his. Soon, they were in a race, and Seraph hoped to win as Galefore hoped his attack to prevail.

Those steeples moved completely and altogether too quickly, and in the end, there was a silence in the snow again, as the steeples reached their target.

At that moment, it was uncertain the outcome, but maybe it would be, as Galefore put it at that moment, a

“Checkmate.”

The winged warrior flapped his wings faster and faster, the sound mere flaps of feathers against the cold air, snow landing against his down as his fists shook in front of him, eyes clenched for a long member, wrinkles creasing in his forehead, down from his brow to the bridge of his nose. His vision was met with brilliant white, opening his lids wide, releasing warm, salty tears to race down his cheeks to drip from his chin against the snow, his pupils no longer their violent crimson, replaced, once more, with almost blindingly pure white, leaving nothing, not even his pupils, to be seen. the shade, the entire hue of his eye, what was meant to be white, red, and black, suddenly twisted away from white into a pale, almost soothing color of blue, the same blue flickering on his fingertips, pulsing and growing, becoming thick beacon of energy.

"How . . . dare you . . . damage such magnificance of grace . . . or faith . . . itself!" he suddenly turns, wings whisked around himself and spreading to have him facing what would seem to be his own demise, the pointed tops of the steeples, which once and meant to stand proud upon the cathedral, to reach that small bit higher to the heavens, to the faith of a white and warm afterlife, now ripped from their perch and used as mere weapons of violence. Eyes now flashing blue, echoed color now engulfing his entire ahnds down to the wrist, arms flexing and biceps bulging as they both stretch forward, mouth opened in a soft cry as such warm energy poured out from his fingers, digits releasing a wash of blue light that hit the steeples moments before they would rip through his skin and tear him asunder.

A glare hit against the light, something brilliant, almost painful to look at for a moment, causing Galefore to turn away, cutting off the last bit of his speokn word, no explosion, no grandure, it was like nothing at all happened give the flare of the lightshow, as Galefore turned his head quickly, eager to see blood, the blood of the angel paint the snow red.

What he saw was something surreal, something out of one's imagination as the steeples seemed to be frozen in mid-air, even his own magnetic pulls couldn't budge them, and as he blinked, he suddenly realized why. Base barely in the snow stood a monolith, a behemoth of light blue quartz, a pure and nearly invisible against the soft snow crystal that had poured out soft and like water from the angel's hands, and enveloped the pikes of metal whole, they just sitting there in the hard crystal as it shimmered and shined in the soft, white light of the sun reflecting off the snow.

Seraph turned, teeth gritted as he stared down at Galefore from his perch in the air, fingers still glowing and eyes flashing that hypnotically soothing blue. "You want to turn a place a faith into a weapon?" he asks calmly, as his eyes seem to turn to look at the pikes locked in crystal, the gem suddenly jerking slightly and seeming to soften, as the crystal pulled the tips of the metal outward, before hardening again, creating a small section of the quartz ertupting with every sharp tip, pointed deaftly forward. "Then so be it!"

Hands moved garcefully in the air, as if a conductor directly his orchestra, and the crystal obeyed, as everything give the hard tip holding the pikes of the steeples softened and turned pliable, acting as if it had a mind of its own, jerking before coiling back, much like some sort of deadly snake, a cobra who has spied its prey. Galefore tried to move, but with another jerk of the angel's hands, the monolith of angelic quartz shot forth, part of it slamming to the snowy ground then lifting its 'head' upward, and chasing Galefore, its own body of work eager to drive the points of the holy steeples into Galefore's body.

The snow catched Galefore's foot and he slips, just slightly, as Seraph's fingers turn to fists and push forward, sending the cobra to bite, pikes ready to drive through Galefore's body and drain his red into the white of the ground.

OoC: Probably final attack, I am searching for a judge to declare winner, if that’s okay. I might choose Selene or HotD, if you even want a judge to declare winner. The last attack from me is gonna do damage enough to both of us, and winner can decide whether or not they want to finish it. Okay with you?

Galefore’s only remorse now was the foolish use of the chapel’s steeples to attack an ANGEL. What foolishness was he thinking by using the very roof points of a holy place to attack a wrathful holy entity, and what could he do to stop it? Lightning wouldn’t help; the steeple tops were metal, so they would act as a lightning rod to fling away the crackling bits of power, and Galefore’s only real choice at this moment was to move faster, but he had tripped and hit his face, biting his tongue and sending a splash of warm blood and sensation through his mouth, and a horrible metallic taste into his throat. Galefore crawled as the shadow of the gem-snake approached and became audible in the wind, and then…

CRUNCH.

The crunch was a combination of the stones under Galefore and the leg that he had taken, not to mention the snow which crunched as well, so a grand crunch it was, audible all around the dark church. The serene peace was still there, but now it had been broken monetarily. Galefore only made a strange guttural gurgle, as his leg was completely impaled and blood splashed around him, staining his armor. He looked with wide eyes at his leg, which was still movable because he could still feel it burning and stinging, the steeple rising on Seraph’s command and dripping blood. There was still a piece of metal in the wound from the armor which had been dug into his skin by the attack, and this caused the pain to multiply in a large way, nothing but anger bubbling from Galefore’s mind. Blood still dripped from the steeple, which was now above Galefore’s armor, and it hit his breastplate several times.

Clink. Clink. Clink. Clink. Clink.

And then silence, as Galefore rolled over and the blood silently fell with the snow to hit the almost covered stone of the ground, a small fissure now where the steeple had entered. Galefore coughed from the still relevant blood loss, not only from his earlier wounds from the chain blade, but also his wound from the hitting of the wall, and the wound from being pinned to a wall, and several others. A two inch hole straight through his leg, barely missing the bone, wasn’t helping, as it still bled even more than his other bleeding wounds.

Galefore let out a frustrated yell. His very energy was slowing even as he lost blood, his armor now rattling from the amount of static electricity he was purposely emitting. Galefore stared at Seraph, who held the giant snake poised to attack, then slowly stood up, grunting as he stood on the punctured appendage on his right side. He stared at the giant creature, drew his sword, and jumped in flight, an energy-based slash dissecting and ending the crystal, which fell in pieces with an incredible noise. Seraph angrily grunted. Galefore floated momentarily, his body now dripping, no, pouring blood.

He sprawled in midair, releasing his hold on the bolts that suspended him, and sheathed his sword quickly, his body now so ready to release energy that Galefore emitted blots even as he fell. He held his right hand forward, stared in a blank way, and then it happened.

What happened had happened quickly, as Seraph stared at the product. Such a large creation of energy flying towards him, one of white hot lightning, burning quite literally hotter than the surface of the sun. It was barging towards the angel. Barging with no stop, and barging so quickly that Seraph couldn’t hold any sort of clear thought for the minute it flew towards him. Galefore was out of visibility range now, the huge star-like energy flying towards Seraph was blocking him out. Galefore was on the other side, in fact, sitting on the ground and yelling in torture, as he had used up so much of his energy…

Even his bleeding hurt less than the recoil he was experiencing from such waste of energy, a static back-bite which even his immunity, or so it is called, to lightning was unable to handle. He moaned, but the loud pops and jeers of the star-quality bolt blocked it out. If it connected, Galefore thought, his worries would honestly be over.

But what chance did it have of connecting? Even energy that large might not be able to hit the powerful angel, who was a crafty enigma and able to most likely get out of it, despite the obvious size of the cataclysm. It was probably visible, and even more likely audible, hundred of miles away, as a sort of earthen but still celestial glow of wonder.

It was approaching its destination, and about to connect with the ground.

Would it hit its target, or miss, veering away and exploding into a hideous light. If it did so, it would destroy the cathedral in some areas, but the two creatures could fly away with their differing abilities. If it did hit Seraph, the star (Called so to tell of its whiteness, electricity, and temperature) would quite literally consume him in most cases, but since he was an angel, it would probably enter him instead, and he would be destroyed by it. In the midst of this, Galefore threw his sword through it --It was quite capable of surviving high temperature and lightning, as it was made to do so-- and it lodged into the unsuspecting Seraph’s arm. It was a stab in the dark, but an effective one.

That would slow Seraph down, for certain, in fact. As the star cataclysm approached its final destination, Galefore fell backwards and shut his eyes. All that was left was the sound of it crashing, which told him that it had connected with something, angel or no, and the hope that it had secured victory.

One could only hope.

Red, warm liquid red poured down his arm, the angel feeling the stab of metal bour through his limb, his fingers instantly unclasping against the hilt of his blade as the dark, ebony sword fell and hit the ground without a sound, the sheer force coming toward the ground where he stood, the spot his blood trickled and stained the earth making every other noise fade into oblivion. He looked up, his eyes flickering between blood red and ivory white, the finger clasped around the shining surface of the mirror sword loosing its own grip, lifting his arm without even realizing it to grasp the handle of the sword ledged in his arm.

His winged flexed, as feathers blew hard in the upcoming heat, opneing his mouth to scream as the hot metal sliding out of his lacerated arm, more blood pouring out to drench the ground. The weapon dropped, the angel's wing instantly limped against the fallen limb, trying to cradle it, the pain was too much to focus through, and that meteor of energy came down closer and closer . . .

There was one chance, one opporunity. However, he would have to go even beyond what his opponent had done in drying up his energy, he would first have to make more, he would have to ascend, before he would even attempt his counter measure. His fingers gripped deeply into his wound and the winged angel screamed again as blood shot out, raising his head to the heavens and bellowing out in pain and espulsion of power, feeling his skin growing warmer, hotter, blistering. Suddenly, the angel's body shook and his breath caught, his chest pushing up toward the sky and his wings fully uncurled, standing erect in their complete wingspan, he did not have much time to change, let alone counter, he had to force it as fast as he could. He was beyond scremaing now, his eyes open and staring into the instrument of his destruction blindly, the color leaving his eyesight leaving nothing but a pure white, his limbs shaking, his arms down at his side even as he bled.

The wound in his arm seemed to melt, the gash piercing right through closing, as if the sword has sliced into water, though it did not stop bleeding entirly, as if trickling down out from his pores. He looked up, as if peering into heaven itself, his hair bleaching to a light blond, his skin taking on a natural glow, then brighter, until he shined himself like a star. His back opened with a rush of fluid running down the backs of his legs, as first two wings, smaller then the first, appeared under the first, then again, sending another rush of liquid as a second pair, leaving three sets to be spread on his back, stretching his body and making it throb in pain the angel just could no longer feel, his nerves pushed beyond their limit.

His feet lifted from the ground as he started to move without even a hint of consciousness, as if his body was moving completely on its own, his body not even bothering to close the wounds he had himself created, as they still trickled, dripping off his back, arms, and wings to the ground below. He raised his arms, as gracefully as a featherfall, and then, at once, opened his palms toward the sky, the attack so close now, the angel could feel wounds starting to open on his face from the power of it.

His words were soft, but as if being carried on the abcks of cherubs, came out as clear as day, even over the noise around him.

"Sun of the Righteousness."

His fingers then seemed to explode in power, first blue, but as each small spark at each fingertip connected, the color became brighter and softer, shining until it became a color as rich and yellow as the sun titself, as his joined palsm allowed his energy just to pour out of his body, pushing his wrists back as the sphere before him just kept growing larger. Soon it was as large as the angel himself, then with streaks of energy coarsing over the orb and the angel himself, doubled in size, then again, four times as large as the angel himself.

"Shine."

His wrists flexed, as if they were going to rip clear from his arms, the angel pushed staight back into the ground until his back hit the steps, suddenly no longer holding six wings, as they seemed to melt within the light of his own sun, leaving only two as they flinched and started to lose their luster, growing darker and drenched in blood red. The angel's entire body seemed to relate, although no blood could be seen, his skin started to grow darker and redder.

The spark of hope, in the form of a sun drenched in heavenly light and born from the fingers of an angel raced into the sky like a strike of God himself, as it raced through the remaining layers of atmosphere toward its target of the oncoming assault.

In a flash, it was over, as the energies met, colliding there in the grandure of the sky, illuminating it with the combined efforts of thunder and light, a dance of destruction and brilliance.

But what of the warriors?

A question, I've been communicating with HotD for a while to judge the battle. Would you like me to okay it with her now that she may judge, or do you want to wait?

Someone who rates out performance on a scale of one-to-ten and then declares the winner from there. Mostly, they judge your skill, writing talent, and battle startegy... Y'know, that kinda stuff.

Oh, well if you don't feel like battling anymore then sure, I guess a judge would be needed . . .

^If you wanted this to continue further, then we could have, it was just that I feel our last two posts pretty much drove the stake into the tent, and it felt kinda done. Still, if you would like to continue further, I will, but my attention is now upon the NLBFT, and I may not perform as well as I was before it began.

Nah, its cool. Of course, I don't know if you know this, but my character's body is basically derived of equal amounts holy and demonic energies, stemming into two completely seperate manifestations, the one above as the first of the risen manifests, and then after when Seraph's body is turning red with no blood-shed, was him, with no holy energy left to hold him in balance, reverting to the first of the fallen manifests. But no point dragging things on if you don't want too, we can end things here.

Okay, here are some tips to help you not be viewed as the fool you wish not to be viewed as.

1: Never enter a taken challenge unless you wish to post some sort of "Garramous watches this eagerly" post. Otherwise, it is pretty much forbidden territory.

2: Never post a double-post unless it is absolutely necessary. If you want to know if I am currently logged in, PM me and I will give you a correct answer.

3: This isn't the place to chat or go Galefore hunting. I know you are new here and you are my nephew, but you will have to make your own characters and start your own challenges, not mess around in other topics and try to chat with me like this is a chat-room.

For more info, read this: http://www.vgf.com/forums/gunjin-bat...uidelines.html

Otherwise, have a splendid day.
