A lone figure (Gir'and Kris) trudges in the desolate snow scoured planes. Snowflakes land on his back, melt, and then turn to steam. He fumes about events of the past few days; a squad of royal guards stormed his den while he was away and mercilessly slaughtered his gang. They were all incompetent without him, but those thugs were the closest thing to family he had ever had.

He repaid the royal guard in kind, crushing the skull of their captain in the city square and setting the law house on fire, the blaze spread and soon the entire city was ablaze. By now, wanted posters a probably springing up all over the kingdom.

Suddenly the snow stops as if in fear of his violent mood swing and he beats upon the ground in rage. A thirst for blood is in his eyes as he continues marching along.

Out of nowhere Irby came.He carried his sword with the strange power and he was wearing a cloak.He noticed some angry looking guy.

The person didnt answer.

Irby pulled his sword and blocked Gir'and Kris's attack.
Irby started slashing his sword at Gir'and Kris.They both continued to fight then Irby grabbed Gir'and Kris's face.Irby held GK(Gir'and Kris) with an iron grip.

An iron Grip versus an Iron arm. Gir'and releases his grasp of the giant sword.

Plates pull apart between the joints in the golem arm and start spouting flame. All the neraby snow instantly melts and Irby's cloak is set ablaze. Gir'and pulled his fist back as far as he could and blasts his fist into the shade's chest. Claws leave bloody gouges in flesh as the spectre is forced to release his hold.

Irby lands a smoldering heap in a snow drift twenty feet away and both fighters have dropped their main sword.

Irby's cloak didnt stay on fire for long.He instantly grabbed his sword and used his own fire attack.He shot fire blasts at Gir'and.Gir'and dodged one but the others hit him.
Once Gir got up he saw Irby's cloak lie on the ground.He walked up to it and felt more fire hit his back.He fell to the ground.Irby picked up Gir's sword and tossed it.

(You might want to indicate that Irby has access to magic in the Book of Warriors, and smoldering indicated that a fire has been put out)

Gir'and Kris got up slowly, annoyed by being caught off guard, The flames on his back were being absorbed by the gap in the metal joint on his right shoulder and causing his arm (and his temper) to burn even hotter. He redoubled his effort and launched himself at the Shade once again.

Even as flame gouts hit Gir'And directly in the chest, the Berserker continued his screaming charge, smoke billowing from his mouth. Irby attempted to dodge, but unexpectedly the Berserker grabbed Irby's sword by the blade and pulled Irby into the air. He drove his fist into the Shade's skeletal chest, creating a ring of fire by the impact.

Irby resielently held on to the handle, and the man dropped the sword and its master to the ground. As Irby looked up, Gir'and Kris spoke, "Your hellfire won't work on me Shade, and soon, niether will that."

As he finishes the sentence, rust starts creeping on the blade from where the man had touched it. The blade can probbably be repaired, but for now, the edge is useless.

Irby:Heh I dont need my sword...just its power....
Irby grabbed his sword and it glowed then stopped.Irby had taken its power and he became stronger.He used some of its power and created a spinning flame that spun faster and faster.Irby let go of the flame and it seeked out Gir'and,it hit him sending him flying.Irby prepared another attack...

All of the flame was sucked into that metal arm as he flew through the air. The snow turned to steam before Gir'and even hit the ground. When he stood up again, an intensly hot six-foot flame off licked the sky. Agiain, the berserker rushed recklessy towards the spectre.

As he ran, he shouted, "TRY THAT AGAIN, I DARE YOU."

Irby continued to charge his attack but this time it was dark energy and he shot it and the beam of shadow hit Gir'and.Gir'and couldnt suck up this energy and the energy exploded,Gir'and was sent flying off in the distance.
Irby followed him.

The large man got up and grunted, the dark energy draining power from his very soul, The iron arm, however, burned as hot as ever. Irby regreted getting close to Gir'and as soon as he saw the maniacal grin on his face. His arm shot out and his metal fingers entwined in Ibys skeletal rib cage.

The berserker roared and held his opponent in the air. His iron hand opened in the middle and he roared again. The sky lit as an 80' jet of white hot flame went through Irby, charring away bone and melting his back up weapons, anything else he was wearing was also incinerated. Any human would have died on the spot.

After his fire was spent, he threw Irby to a heap on the ground and promptly fell to his knees.

Irby had to use a chunk of his sword's power to get stronger.He did and picked up Gir'and by the neck.
Irby used more of his shadow power on Gir'and.Another explosion happened except both fighters where caught in it.Irby went one direction,Gir'and went the other direction.
Irby used more power except this time it was water energy.Irby shot a long beam of water at Gir'and,Irby used more power to freeze the water.
Gir'and was trapped in ice.

Almost as fast as the unnatural ice was formed, it melted and turned to steam. Irby's fiery explosion had once again woke up the being in Gir'and Kris's arm, even though the man. Usually it was bound by a entwining seal the on berserker's withered appendage, but the protective magic was weakened by the dark magic from earlier. As this being regained its senses, it did the first thing natural to a lost traveler, it went home.

A small fire started above the man, a gate to the a burning realm. First it pulled in the unconcious man, right arm first, and then it spread igniting even the frozen plains.

He was gone, but for how long ? ? ?
