Sprite looked to see a white and black hedgehog speeding towards him.

Ah, a Sonic fancharacter, eh?

He flipped down his Omnigoggles and scanned his opponent. His stats and information appeared on his goggles' data screen.

Heh, and a very cliche one at that.

Sprite grabbed his omnihilt and formed it into a sword. He parryed his opponent's wild flailing and kicked him to the sandy ground.

"You'd best not underestimate me."

Sprite's glove rearranged to form a cannon as he pointed it straight at his opponents head.

Sprite flipped his OmniGoggles back up and looked at the lifeless corpse of his opponent.

That was...sad.

Sprite deactivated his OmniHilt and latched it back onto his belt. He folded his arms and looked out into the ocean, waiting for any real challenges ready to face him.

It began as a slight tremor. The entire island seemed to quiver with anticipation, the very air buzzing with excitement as the magma within the volcano center began to stir. Soon, the tremor escelated into a light shaking, then in a violent quake as the magma inside the volcano churned and rose inside the massive cone. The very island itself throbbed with power as the volcano let loose a single massive chunk of lava, which immediately began to solidify.

"What!?" Someone shouted, it could have been either of the two on the island, but neither of them cared who. The flaming lava-chunk was hurtling straight for them like a midget-meteor, they sub-conciously decided that it would be best to abandon their attacks on each other for the time being. They both scrambled out of the path of the flaming ball of molten death, just in time to avoid being simultaneously crushed and char-broiled alive. The impact was solid, causing the island to make one final heave, uprooting a few trees and sending several yards of the island's edge crumbling into the sea.

From the impact crater rose a humanoid shape, glowing bright orange and hot enough to melt the sand it stood upon. The bright orange quickly sub-sided as a rocky outer skin formed on its surface, making it look like some sort of armoured golem. It's face was featureless save for two narrow slits that one would presume to be eyes, the magma which coursed through its body in the place of blood could be seen through them like a window into some sort of sinister lava-lamp. There were three golf-bal sized holes on each of it's arms, and a ring of these holes around it's head, occasionaly spouting flame and giving it the look of crown of flames. It slowly raised a rocky hand, pointing at Speed and Spritedude.

"You dared to step foot on the Cursed Isle..." it said in a craggy voice which was augmented by the flames which spouted from it's head in time with each word, opening its palm to reveal yet another hole, which was aimed directly at the two. "Now you both shall perisssssh..."

OOC: WHAT THE HELL?! Worst. Gunjin Death. Ever. I smell a mod coming.

Also, I may join in this brawl now that Mushi intensified the badass level.

Sprite eyed this new opponent. Lava and fire was erupting from his body. Good thing his suit gave some protection against heat.

Hm, seems there was more to this island than I thought.

Sprite scanned his opponent with his OmniGoggles to see if he could get any information on him.

No data found.

Hm, well, I guess there's not much to get. It's just a big guy made of lava and rocks. Well, this should be interesting.

Sprite grabbed his OmniHilt and activated it in the form of a giant hammer. He swung it with all his might at the side of the fiery beast, hoping to take out a good size chunk of his rocky body.

a young man with spiky green hair and blue eyes smirked as he emerged from the jungle onto the beach seeing the other combatants gathering on the beach. he wore a red jacket with black trim and a black "N" on the left side. he wore a white T shirt beneath his jacket and a pair of blue jeans and black combat boots. on his belt was what appeared to be some kind of tech device of unknown origin.

???: heh. let's see how they can compare to this. N warrior! Henshin! Go!

the youth leapt into the air and in a flash his cloths were replaced by a form fitting gray body suit with a black and white N on the left side of the chest and basic white shoulder armor. on his right hand appeared the Power Glove and on his left, a normal grey glove. on his belt, replacing the high tech device was an NES controller, at his sides were a pair of NES Zappers, one grey, one orange. on his head appeared what looked like a scouter but in actuality it was the konami laser scope and on his back appeared the NES satalite which his 4 wired devices plugged into. also appearing on his back was the Super Scope.

Koji: I am Koji Miamoto, the N warrior!

Koji drew his zappers and prepared himself for someone's attack.

After the volcano's erruption much of the island had been changed; the ground had cracked throughout and in the jungle many trees had collapsed and fallen. A somewhat winded groan comes from beneath a tree seconds before it is rolled off to the side by a man in a simple clothes; black pants and a sleeveless maroon shirt, with a matching piece of cloth wrapped around his waist and legs. Resting at his side is an iron sword in a red and black sheath.

Sighing, Arren rose to his feet while picking up his sword. I was told this would be a good place to train, but so far all that has happened was a tree fell on me. Wait. It sounds like something is going on by the beach... Maybe I'll get some fun of this place yet.

He looks at the fighters at the beach; some sort of golem, and 2 men, both with odd armor and weapons in their hands. One seems to have his hands full, but the other doesn't seem to be in combat yet. He walked out from the jungle and onto the beach. Unsheathing his sword Arren points it at the man in grey, who immediately aims both of his guns at him in retailiation.

He raises his sword and begins to run towards the other man, ready to slash at him.

Suddenly, a dark figure came out of the ashy remains of the jungle. Out came a man of about medium height, nothing too special, really. The man wore a black trench coat which came down to his ankles, obscuring most of his face and body. Behind that trench coat, however, were a pair of grey eyes and short spiky brown hair. What he wore behind the gigantic coat was casual and comfortable, a great contrast to his trench coat, which was heavy and uncomfortable. Behind the coat, he donned a green T-shirt with the sleeves torn off, a pair of raggedy blue jeans with holes in the right knee, and a pair of brown boots that went up to his knees. The man was known as Nightshade.

Nightshade looked around at his opponents. It was an interesting set, to say the least. A golem, a rather strangely dressed man, a man in simple clothes, and a green-haired punk.

Nightshade chose the simple-dressed man and charged at him, crowbar in hand.

Koji shifted his aim towards the golem and smiled.

Koji: heh. looks like you're first monster, I didn't think I'd be taking on a boss monster so soon after getting my powers. allright, switching to program 357 initiating Wild Guns mode!

Koji leapt into the air and over the golem-like being, landing in front of him and spinning to face him. aiming at the flaming head, Koji let loose a rain of gunfire with the *kang*of the zapper triggers and holding them in to cause a continuous stream of gunfire to keep him at bay and damage him at the same time.

Arren quickly stopped his attack, noticing something approaching him in the corner of his eye. He turned around, raising his sword in time to block the crowbar aimed at him. He was not prepared for the sheer force behind the attack however, being pushed backwards onto the ground by the man in the black trench coat.

He's stronger than he looks... he thought as he planted his sword into the ground, pushing up on it as he got to his feet. Going to have to take him out without getting hit too hard.

With a quick swing of his sword, Arren kicked up a wave of sand towards his opponent and dashed to his opponent's side; using the sand to mask his movements. Bringing his sword back, he aimed at his opponents side and then thrusted the blade forward.

Not looking to see if his attack on the golem was succesful, Sprite turned his attention towards the other fighters. One battle was between a man clothed in a grey costume, and a man in a black trench coat. In another spot he saw a big cloud of sand with silhouettes of two human figures standing in it.

Hm, this could be an opponunity for a suprise attack.

"Lock on target."

Targets locked on.

Sprite charged up his blaster and shot a huge blue laser beam at the cloud of sand, but wasn't sure if the two figures were hit.

Nightshade and Arren suddenly stopped fighting and quickly looked around to find where that loud explosion came from. After a few seconds of looking, they noticed a large crater where the green-haired boy and the golem were fighting. "Hey, what happened over there?" Nightshade finally said. "I don't know, but I think it has something to do with the loud explosion we just heard." Arren replied. "But more importantly, who did this to them?"

Nightshade looked around to see if the person responsible for the sneak attack was still around. Suddenly, he noticed a man in a strange-looking robot suit. "I think I know who did it." Nightshade said. Arren turned his head. "You did? Who?" he asked. "It was him!" Nightshade pointed to the man in the robotic suit. "You're right, it had to be him! He's the only other person here besides us and the guys in the crater!" Arren replied with a growl. "I can't believe he would resort to attacking two people from behind!" "We need to work together to beat him." Nightshade said. "OK, but this alliance is only temporary." Arren agreed. "After we beat him, we go straight back to our battle!" "Agreed." Nightshade replied, and the two walked over to fight the man in the robot suit.

Sprite looked to the side to see a the man in grey and the man in the trenchcoat walking towards him.

Oh shoot. Looks like they've spotted me.

"Hey? what kind of fighter are you to attack while their gaurd's down?" the grey one asled him.

"A smart one." Sprite replied.

"Fine, you want to do it that way? Bring it on!"

"Alright then."

Sprite took out his OmniHilt activated it in the form of a simple sword. He then activated his jet boots and pointed them forward, the thrust going right into the grey man's face as Sprite flew backwards towards the water. As soon as he got far enough, he pointed the boots back so that he zoomed towards his enemy at high speed while holding his sword forward, aiming straight for his chest.

Koji: how dare you attack me from behind like a coward!

Koji quickly holstered his zappers and input a code on his powerglove.

Koji: input code 6693! materialize Z saber!

the hot blooded youth heald out his power gloved hand and grabbed the z saber's handle as it appeared and quickly turned it on with it's green blade blazing to life. he quickly charged towards spritedude and slashed him with the beam blade as he passed. turning to face the man who blasted him with that attack.

Koji: now, come face me you coward!

Ooc: Whoops, I think I got a bit confused who was fighting who. The person I was talking to in my last post was supposed to be Arren. Oh well.

Sprite felt a sharp pain in his side as the z-saber slashed across him. This blow disrupted his balance, and he crashed into the sand before getting to his planned target. Looking up to see who did this, he saw the grey clothed man walking towards him.

Ugh, I thought that blast would have taken him out.

Sprite got to his feet and looked the man in the eye. Without saying a word, he swung his sword, only to have it swiftly dodged.

"What? Am I too fast for you?" the grey clothed man said in a cocky voice.

"You may be..."

Sprite activated his jet boots and flew up around 20 feet in the air and hovered in that spot.

"But can you fly?"

Sprite used his OmniGoggles and scanned this grey clothed man.

Hm, his name is Koji, alright then.

Sprite aimed at Koji with his cannon and shot a blue bolt of lightning straight at him.

Nightshade watched as Koji got hit with the bolt of lightning. The green-haired teen cried out in pain before collapsing on the ground. Nightshade was tired of seeing this punk take cheap shots at everyone, so he decided to take care of the Sprite problem personally.

"Hey!" Nightshade called. Sprite quickly turned his head to see what the man wanted. "Who the hell do you think you are, taking cheap shots at people like that?!" Nightshade shouted. "I think I'm Spritedude, and if you're smart, you'll stay out of my business!" Sprite replied. Nightshade was visibly getting angry. "You like lightning, do you? Well, let's see how much you like this!" Nightshade yelled, shooting his arms forward. Suddenly, sparks started to shoot from his fingertips. Eventually, Nightshade's hands became so full of electricity that they started pulsating with a bright yellow aura. Lightning shot out of Nightshade's hands, and the bright yellow streaks charged towards Sprite. The bolts found their target, and Sprite let out a mighty scream of pain before crashing back down to Earth, forming a good-sized crater where he fell.

Sprite layed on the ground, aching in pain. Spasms of electricity still running through his body. He used all his strength to get to his feet. He would have never expected an attack like that from this guy. He grabbed his Omnihilt and activated it as a sword.

"Fine, no more cheap blows. This will be an all-out swordfight."

Sprite charged at top speed towards Nightshade and swiftly swung his sword. A split second before it would have cut into his flesh, Nightshade whipped out his crowbar to block the attack.

"You think you could strike me with such a slow attack? Heh, let me show my true skill."

Without even giving him any reaction time, nightshade sliced across Sprite's arm with a powerful swing, leaving a long cut down his arm and knocking him the ground once again. It took a moment to realize what had just happened, but Sprite stood up and glared at his opponent.

"Alright then, let's do this."

Sprite sliced through the air with his sword. As it was parried, Nighthsade swung his crowbar. Sprite bended back in a "Matrix" fashion to dodge the swing. The battle unleased into a seemingly endless array of swings, slices, blocks, and parries. The clangs of the two weapons coud be heard for a good few minutes, both warriors in total concentration. Finally, both locked weapons and looked each other face to face.

"I'll never let myself lose to a fool like you!" Sprite said confidently with a slight smirk on his face.

"And I'll never let myself lose to a cheap little kid like you!" Nightshade yelled back.

Nightshade unlocked his sword so that Sprite stumbled foward, leaving him open for any attack. Nightshade raised his crowbar and smashed it right into the back of Sprite's skull. Sprite fell into the sand, and everything faded to black.

No....

Sprite fell unconscious, leaving him helpless to any attack from his enemies until he came to.

Unsheathing his sword Arren points it at the man in grey, who immediately aims both of his guns at him in retailiation. He raises his sword and begins to run towards the other man, ready to slash at him.

Out came a man of about medium height, nothing too special, really. The man wore a black trench coat which came down to his ankles, obscuring most of his face and body. Behind that trench coat, however, were a pair of grey eyes and short spiky brown hair. What he wore behind the gigantic coat was casual and comfortable, a great contrast to his trench coat, which was heavy and uncomfortable. Behind the coat, he donned a green T-shirt with the sleeves torn off, a pair of raggedy blue jeans with holes in the right knee, and a pair of brown boots that went up to his knees. The man was known as Nightshade. Nightshade looked around at his opponents. It was an interesting set, to say the least. A golem, a rather strangely dressed man, a man in simple clothes, and a green-haired punk. Nightshade chose the simple-dressed man and charged at him, crowbar in hand.

Koji: heh. looks like you're first monster, I didn't think I'd be taking on a boss monster so soon after getting my powers. allright, switching to program 357 initiating Wild Guns mode! Koji leapt into the air and over the golem-like being, landing in front of him and spinning to face him. aiming at the flaming head, Koji let loose a rain of gunfire with the kangof the zapper triggers and holding them in to cause a continuous stream of gunfire to keep him at bay and damage him at the same time.

He turned around, raising his sword in time to block the crowbar aimed at him. He was not prepared for the sheer force behind the attack however, being pushed backwards onto the ground by the man in the black trench coat. He's stronger than he looks... he thought as he planted his sword into the ground, pushing up on it as he got to his feet. Going to have to take him out without getting hit too hard. With a quick swing of his sword, Arren kicked up a wave of sand towards his opponent and dashed to his opponent's side; using the sand to mask his movements. Bringing his sword back, he aimed at his opponents side and then thrusted the blade forward.

After a few seconds of looking, they noticed a large crater where the green-haired boy and the golem were fighting. "Hey, what happened over there?" Nightshade finally said. "I don't know, but I think it has something to do with the loud explosion we just heard." Arren replied. "But more importantly, who did this to them?" Nightshade looked around to see if the person responsible for the sneak attack was still around. Suddenly, he noticed a man in a strange-looking robot suit. "I think I know who did it." Nightshade said. Arren turned his head. "You did? Who?" he asked. "It was him!" Nightshade pointed to the man in the robotic suit. "You're right, it had to be him! He's the only other person here besides us and the guys in the crater!" Arren replied with a growl. "I can't believe he would resort to attacking two people from behind!" "We need to work together to beat him." Nightshade said. "OK, but this alliance is only temporary." Arren agreed. "After we beat him, we go straight back to our battle!" "Agreed." Nightshade replied, and the two walked over to fight the man in the robot suit.

Oh shoot. Looks like they've spotted me. "Hey? what kind of fighter are you to attack while their gaurd's down?" the grey one asled him. "A smart one." Sprite replied. "Fine, you want to do it that way? Bring it on!" "Alright then." Sprite took out his OmniHilt activated it in the form of a simple sword. He then activated his jet boots and pointed them forward, the thrust going right into the grey man's face as Sprite flew backwards towards the water. As soon as he got far enough, he pointed the boots back so that he zoomed towards his enemy at high speed while holding his sword forward, aiming straight for his chest.

Koji: how dare you attack me from behind like a coward! Koji quickly holstered his zappers and input a code on his powerglove. Koji: input code 6693! materialize Z saber! the hot blooded youth heald out his power gloved hand and grabbed the z saber's handle as it appeared and quickly turned it on with it's green blade blazing to life. he quickly charged towards spritedude and slashed him with the beam blade as he passed. turning to face the man who blasted him with that attack. Koji: now, come face me you coward!

The person I was talking to in my last post was supposed to be Arren. Oh well. Sprite felt a sharp pain in his side as the z-saber slashed across him. This blow disrupted his balance, and he crashed into the sand before getting to his planned target. Looking up to see who did this, he saw the grey clothed man walking towards him. Ugh, I thought that blast would have taken him out. Sprite got to his feet and looked the man in the eye. Without saying a word, he swung his sword, only to have it swiftly dodged. "What? Am I too fast for you?" the grey clothed man said in a cocky voice. "You may be..." Sprite activated his jet boots and flew up around 20 feet in the air and hovered in that spot. "But can you fly?" Sprite used his OmniGoggles and scanned this grey clothed man. Hm, his name is Koji, alright then. Sprite aimed at Koji with his cannon and shot a blue bolt of lightning straight at him.

The green-haired teen cried out in pain before collapsing on the ground. Nightshade was tired of seeing this punk take cheap shots at everyone, so he decided to take care of the Sprite problem personally. "Hey!" Nightshade called. Sprite quickly turned his head to see what the man wanted. "Who the hell do you think you are, taking cheap shots at people like that?!" Nightshade shouted. "I think I'm Spritedude, and if you're smart, you'll stay out of my business!" Sprite replied. Nightshade was visibly getting angry. "You like lightning, do you? Well, let's see how much you like this!" Nightshade yelled, shooting his arms forward. Suddenly, sparks started to shoot from his fingertips. Eventually, Nightshade's hands became so full of electricity that they started pulsating with a bright yellow aura. Lightning shot out of Nightshade's hands, and the bright yellow streaks charged towards Sprite. The bolts found their target, and Sprite let out a mighty scream of pain before crashing back down to Earth, forming a good-sized crater where he fell.

Spasms of electricity still running through his body. He used all his strength to get to his feet. He would have never expected an attack like that from this guy. He grabbed his Omnihilt and activated it as a sword. "Fine, no more cheap blows. This will be an all-out swordfight." Sprite charged at top speed towards Nightshade and swiftly swung his sword. A split second before it would have cut into his flesh, Nightshade whipped out his crowbar to block the attack. "You think you could strike me with such a slow attack? Heh, let me show my true skill." Without even giving him any reaction time, nightshade sliced across Sprite's arm with a powerful swing, leaving a long cut down his arm and knocking him the ground once again. It took a moment to realize what had just happened, but Sprite stood up and glared at his opponent. "Alright then, let's do this." Sprite sliced through the air with his sword. As it was parried, Nighthsade swung his crowbar. Sprite bended back in a "Matrix" fashion to dodge the swing. The battle unleased into a seemingly endless array of swings, slices, blocks, and parries. The clangs of the two weapons coud be heard for a good few minutes, both warriors in total concentration. Finally, both locked weapons and looked each other face to face. "I'll never let myself lose to a fool like you!" Sprite said confidently with a slight smirk on his face. "And I'll never let myself lose to a cheap little kid like you!" Nightshade yelled back. Nightshade unlocked his sword so that Sprite stumbled foward, leaving him open for any attack. Nightshade raised his crowbar and smashed it right into the back of Sprite's skull. Sprite fell into the sand, and everything faded to black. No.... Sprite fell unconscious, leaving him helpless to any attack from his enemies until he came to.
