Return of the Virtual Hotel! - Page 11

9-Volt walked through the hallways, until he was sure nobody was looking, glowing wings appeared on 9-Volt's back.
Suddenly, 9-Volt heard chanting....
"No.... I can't let it happen..."
He ran towards the chanting, and found Labriel...
"Labriel! Don't do it! There is another way!"
9-Volt tried to reach Labriel in time, but it was too late, she was consumed by the shadow...
"She had lost all hope... no wonder she... NO!
I will not allow another person to become victem to darkness!"
9-Volt took a cross out of his pocket and began a counter chant...
"In honor of all that is holy, I command darkness to release the one known as Labriel from eternal damnation! Now!"

Now, all that 9-Volt could do is wait.... and pray...

As Zagros walked down the winding path, he sensed something wrong with the environment around him...... he sensed a..... disturbance... He had never felt anything like this before... Soon after that, he saw a hotel shaking violently and began to feel the aftershock of the unknown force inside the hotel. He quickly clasped on his pegasus boots and dashed down the road, nearly invisible due to his speed. He was tired, he needed to rest, but the feeling of the disturbance pushed him beyond his limits. As he reached the hotel and walked inside, he drew his twin rapiers, ready to imbue them with a chosen element(thanks to his unusual ability, he had survived many fights with odds stacked against him) he scanned for any sign of something wrong, he caught sight of a figure in the shadows, he then walked over and began to whisper, "What's your name?"
"Nine-volt" the figure responded.
"What in the hell is going on in here?" asked Zagros.

"I am trying to figure that out myself, Labriel allowed herself to be sent to hell, I am not sure why, or what she was trying to do, but I have a strange feeling we are about to find out..."

9-Volt smiled and in a flash glowing wings appeared on 9-Volt's back.

Tell the vampire Alucard what happened to Labriel, I will return in about 3 hours, but remember, this may not work... so pray for her, Zagros, pray for her..."

9-Volt left the hotel and began his flight to Heaven...

Zagros slumped to the ground as he nodded off into a much needed rest, he had proven to himself that he could break the limits of mortal endurance, "but...," he thought to himself,
"what does that mean? is it a supernatural occurance or do i posses more power than i am aware of?" finally, no loner able to keep himself awake, Zagros slipped into an uneasy sleep, unaware of the trials which would soon test the strength of not only himself, but everyone around him, too.

Labriel had fallen to the ground in Hell. The floor so hard under her she let out a cry. She looked about her..... slaves.... demons.... she had sacraficed herself for Samuel....... She saw a gate, but before she could reach it, it disappeared and behind her stood....... "Help." She whispered under her breath. A demon hit her with a wip on her back. Another at her face. She sat on floor with chains holding holding her. She knew the her magic wouldn't work well there, but it was worth a try. "Blessun!" Holy water poured down on the demons and they ran off, smoke surrounding them. She just had to keep saying that whenever a demon came towards her. The Devil himself walked over to her. "What brings you here my love?"
"I---- give up."

Zagros, awakened by a noise nearby, thought of the many things he had learned from his various elders over his many years..... he remembered faintly that musicaids in spell casting.... he pulled out a stereo and started to play "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. he then exited the hotel and waited nearby outside to see what would happen.

She heard the music from above and smiled to herself. The devil had already disappeared before the music stared. She closed her eyes. She screamed. She screamed so loud everyone there froze. There was no sound but her scream. She kepted screaming. she ripped of The chains around her with her vampire strengh. She stood up and stared to sing. She kept singing, moving her hips in a senual movement. She sang words not understood. A light stared to shine above her, the music above her equal with her voice. Then behind her the sent of roses. The virgin of course. She fainted and appeared in the lobby of the hotel.

Zagros heard faintly the sounds of a woman screaming from within the depths of the earth, with a huge flash of light the noise was gone.... Zagros ran inside and found Labriel unconscious on the floor. He attempted to wake her, but to no avail. he took out a medical kit and tried to bandage her as best as he could, he leaned back against the wall telling himself he could not go back to sleep until Labriel awoke. barely audible he muttered, "I really gotta stop carin' so much about other people..." Suddenly a glint caught his eye, apparently when the devil had been repeled and Labriel had broken free, some divine force had created a holy sword. It was a massive sword with the width of a rapier but with a length of six feet. He realized something was special about this sword but thought it to flimsy for his use. to test it out he slammed it against a support of the hotal and split it like butter. "Well," said Zagros, "Maybe this thing ain't so useless after all." he walked outside of the hotel and decided to try this new sword out. He muttered the ice shot speel he favored in combat, but instead of the usual 6 inch beam that weakned very quickly, a massive 3 foot wide beam shot out and traveled across the crisp night air as Zagros yelled "HOLY SH-" but the rest of his words were cut off by the sound of the beam rocketing into the air. Drained by the power required to shoot such a beam, he fainted. Zagros had found his destiny sword, the sword that unlocked his potential that he had only faintly tasted before. This sword, Varkariox as it was called, had fallen into the correct hands.

When Zagros woke up. He felt that something was wrong."Could it be that something went trought the gateway" he thought.

A dark figure appeared within the hotel and started to search for the room of Labriel. Then he studently stoped "My blade still hungers...An angel interesting this could calm its hunger for a wile. I guess i'll give Labriel my thanks for releasing me later." He then turned to go outside to look for his prey.

Demonoid woke up from the a massive surge of energy in the hotel. He felt as if a presence had fallen into darkness. He didn't care much for the fool that had passed on, but then something allarmed him. He felt a rif in the hotel, the same as when he opened a portal to travel. Then anger filled within him as an old presence showed itself in the hotel. He could distinguish that energy from many. He also felt the presence of Labariel had returned, but his concerns where all on the new arrival. He quickly got up from his bed, and went for his weapons. When he saw that they weren't at his desk, a sudden rush of panic overwhelmed him. He ran out of his room down to the lobby.

Jzagerg and Merkirus both froze at the same moment. Merikrus had a shocked expression on her face. "He...h...he...eee...He's awake!" she blurted out to her brother. "I told you we shouldn't have left, now how are we going to get back to him without him seeing us?" questionned Jzagerg. "I know", she said,"Let's just get a room, and tell that clerc guy to tell the master to go to that room to pick up his weapons." "Sure, that would work.", said Jzagerg just before walking to the desk. He dropped a bag of rupees on the desk, "Here, there are about 600 rupees in there. We'll take room 101. Tell Demonoid when he gets down here to go in there. The extra money is to not mention anything about us, or about the weapons, and don't ask questions." Alucard nodded, and handed them the key. They quickly made their way to their room. Jzagerg closed the door, but didn`t lock it. A huge flash of light inside the room, then nothing. Both of them were gone, and only the two weapons remained on the bed.

Demonoid got the lobby, and went over to Alucard who sigaled him over. He wasn't sure quite why Alucard wanted him to go to room 101. This was the least of his worries, but he knew that Alucard wouldn't just send him anywhere for no reason. When he reached the room, he found the door closed. He was reluctant to open, he quickly made sure to chek the energy signal he had previously felt. He only entered the room after he felt the presence. It wasn't behind that door, it was currently making it's way outside. He entered the room and found the two weapons. He didn't care of asking himself why they where there, he was just happy to have them back. He was now ready, and he started walking towards the door that would lead him outside to an inevitable confrontation.

OoC: Where did you get that thing about demons hating music? That ain't true, oh, and by the way, my character's a demon. Don't think if you sing, or play some music, that he'll run away, you'll probably only irritate him.

OoC: lol, Labriel edited her post after i made one, so i had to edit mine and make up something cheesy so it owuld kinda fit. sorry.

Zagros ran to the hotel and immediatly saw the cause of the trouble a giant monster...
"What the hell is that thing?" Zagros thought, "Oh well, Varkariox, lets take this thing down."
Zagros rushed to the monster and gouged him in the ribs before he could react. The monster grimaced in pain, but then chuckled,
"You really think you can hurt me!?!?!?! well THINK AGAIN!" the monster yelled.
Zagros watched in amazement as the monster's wound disappeared. After that the monster let out a flash of bright light that brought Zagros to his knees. Zagros tried to stand up, but was immediatly blown back into the wall by another one of the monster's spells. Zagros quickly got up and ran deeper into the hotel, "I must find someone, anyone," Zagros thought, "I cannot do this by myself..."

Labriel woke up, standing now beside Zagros. "Whoa that was some rest I took, thanks for helping me, by the way."She teleported him and herself in front of the monster. She looked at the monster. "Nice arms." As she said that, the arms of the monster ripped off of him. She looked up at Zagros. "Well are you gonna help?" She looked down at herself and noticed her wounds had healed. "On second thought.. Lord Deimos." She handed Zagros a bottle that appeared in her hands. "Drink it, extra strengh, got to go." She ran off looking for Deimos, knowing the damage she had done.

Tell Demonoid when he gets down here to go in there. The extra money is to not mention anything about us, or about the weapons, and don't ask questions." Alucard nodded, and handed them the key. They quickly made their way to their room. Jzagerg closed the door, but didn`t lock it. A huge flash of light inside the room, then nothing. Both of them were gone, and only the two weapons remained on the bed. ----- Demonoid got the lobby, and went over to Alucard who sigaled him over. He wasn't sure quite why Alucard wanted him to go to room 101. This was the least of his worries, but he knew that Alucard wouldn't just send him anywhere for no reason. When he reached the room, he found the door closed. He was reluctant to open, he quickly made sure to chek the energy signal he had previously felt. He only entered the room after he felt the presence. It wasn't behind that door, it was currently making it's way outside. He entered the room and found the two weapons. He didn't care of asking himself why they where there, he was just happy to have them back. He was now ready, and he started walking towards the door that would lead him outside to an inevitable confrontation. ----- OoC: Where did you get that thing about demons hating music? That ain't true, oh, and by the way, my character's a demon. Don't think if you sing, or play some music, that he'll run away, you'll probably only irritate him. Zagros ran to the hotel and immediatly saw the cause of the trouble a giant monster... "What the hell is that thing?" Zagros thought, "Oh well, Varkariox, lets take this thing down." Zagros rushed to the monster and gouged him in the ribs before he could react. The monster grimaced in pain, but then chuckled, "You really think you can hurt me!?!?!?! well THINK AGAIN!" the monster yelled. Zagros watched in amazement as the monster's wound disappeared. After that the monster let out a flash of bright light that brought Zagros to his knees. Zagros tried to stand up, but was immediatly blown back into the wall by another one of the monster's spells. Zagros quickly got up and ran deeper into the hotel, "I must find someone, anyone," Zagros thought, "I cannot do this by myself..."

"Whoa that was some rest I took, thanks for helping me, by the way."She teleported him and herself in front of the monster. She looked at the monster. "Nice arms." As she said that, the arms of the monster ripped off of him. She looked up at Zagros. "Well are you gonna help?" She looked down at herself and noticed her wounds had healed. "On second thought.. Lord Deimos." She handed Zagros a bottle that appeared in her hands. "Drink it, extra strengh, got to go." She ran off looking for Deimos, knowing the damage she had done.
