It’s beauty was unrestricted to words or images, and couldn’t be described to its glorious extent. A small wind passed through carrying a grotesque structure that destroyed to peacefulness and beauty of the area. It’s shadow blocked the sunlight making the sea radiate it’s beauty. The huge block of metal floated above with no visible means of a floatation device. Fish scattered as the huge shadow passed above them, and some curious dolphins watched on. Then, in the middle of the platform, a portal opened up. A tall man stepped out and the strong wind of the ocean made his hair dance. His short dark hair flowed easily, seaming to melt in with the air around it. He walked a few steps in front of him and gave his surroundings a look. He had already seen the sea from a variety of angles, but he had never seen it like this. He was somewhat overwhelmed. The sunlight peeked out from behind one of the white clouds. Its glowing rays of light hit the axe on the Demonoid’s back and made the thing sparkle like a diamond. His clothes danced in the wind, following the lead of his hair. His green eyes where vacant as his thoughts ran through his mind. He felt peace around him, but this feeling was never truly long lasting for him. He felt a presence getting nearer. He grabbed for his axe and pulled it to his side. He let the weight of it fall onto the metal floor. He then patiently waited. ----- OoC: I'm no good with entrances. The breeze, (A breeze that happened to be turbulence from high velocity flying) blowing against WZ's face, was a gentle reminder of how much ufn the place was. And, in this case, how deadly one became when facing an opponent. The Battle platform lay ahead, and on it stood the lone figure of his opponent. WZ was already going a good speed; he could hear the wind whistle by his ears. But as he approached, his outstreched angel wings folded inward, creating what looked like a glistening white human torpedo. The vernyae engines in his back spewed forth a shriek as he burst forward at a suicidal rate. All Demonoid vould see was the blaze of the vernyae fires and the red, glistening beam sabers outstretched before WZ like an arrowhead. WZ was about to collide with his opponent when the axe was brought forth like a massive shield. WZ's sabers galnced off the flat of the axe. WZ veered off course, but had suceeded in throwing Demonoid backward. WZ slowed suddenly with the loss of his vernyae momentum, using his Wings like spoilers, slowing his fantastic charge. He hung in place for a mere moment, before he performed an aerial pirouet, landing lightly on his feet, wings at his side. He had turned to an already recovered opponent. He's quick. Let's test how quick. The mounted gatling cannons on WZ's shoulders opened fire without warning, and WZ grinned wickedly, his cobalt eyes alight with the heat of battle. As predicted, the Axe came up in a defensive position, and the bullets flew off it with nary a dint in the great weapon. WZ continue his hail of beam fire, but he made an odd move. He began to roll side ways, and as he did he rbougth his line of fire downward toward Demonoid's ankles. The axe was twirled in an efficient manner, blocking the gunfire once again. However, WZ had suddenly shot forward, hovering just above the surface, beam sabers at the ready. With one foot, he pinned the axe to the ground, and he swiped his beam saber's downard at Demonoid's face. However, only one cut was made, because WZ had incorrectly judged how powerful a warrior his opponent was. The axe was heaved upward with a roar, and WZ went flying over the back. However, He hovered in the air, and shot out a hand to grab his opponent. Thinking it a physical attack, demonoid blocked. Unfortunately for demonoid, this was abad move. Froma small compartment in the gundanium gauntlet can a small poison tipped needle. It sank deep into demonoid's skin. Demonoid nearly nearly bit through his lip as his arm felt like it had changed into a boiling inferno. He gamely held onto his axe though, and swung it around in a swiping motion. However, WZ had already disengaged and was five feet backward. He surveyed the small amount of damage he had done, through all that work. A bleeding cut across the right cheek and a very inflamed, painfully poisoned arm. Not much, WZ mused, but with all the things he had learned in but a few moments of battle, it was worth it. OOC: SOrry if I ove rroleplayed a bit, I've never fought you to the extenet of my memory. So, The rust is coming off. Get ready for the heat to be turnedup. |

The pain his arm was incredible, but he couldn’t imagine a poison needle do much damage to his metal body. He wiped the artificial blood from his face. The only purpose that blood had for him was to merely keep the temperature of his body low, kind of like coolant in a motor. He looked at the redness of it and grinned. He soon hoped to see bloodshed from his opponent, but he had to wait. The sensors came back roaring inside his head. Robotic voice: “ The needle struck a circuit in the arm component, damage is minimal, but it hit the a circuit keeping pain to a minimal, overriding it to do the opposite. " Demonoid: “Now that’s just great. How long until internal repairs are finished with this problem.” RV: “ Arm should function in a few moments. But we can only pass partial power to it right now. " Demonoid: “You better get that thing under control soon, or I’ll rip your little component out of my system.” RV: “ Don’t need to get sentimental, oh, and look out .” Demonoid ducked out of the way of the beam sabres. The light from them illuminated his face. He knew that was too close, and that he ad escaped from that move with pure luck. Or maybe WZ was only testing out his speed? Demonoid didn’t have time to ponder the thought. WZ’s foot crashed into his face and sent him to his back. Demonoid slid a few feet on the cool floor of the flying platform. He saw the light of the blade sabre above WZ’s head. Under Demonoid’s feet then flashed a dim blue light. WZ’s experienced eyes saw the little move many would have missed. Demonoid was propelled backwards, escaping the blade sabre by mere inches. He knew he had been lucky, and he knew he had to stop relying on his luck and more on his skills. He was now a good distance from WZ. He got up slowly, still clutching the axe in his damaged arm. Then a light surrounded the axe and it seemed to disappear into the light. The axe was gone, but as soon as it was, a light appeared to surround Demonoid’s other hand. The light took the shape of a long sword. It materialized and the metal seemed sharp enough to cut through even the platform they were floating on. Demonoid charged at WZ, an irrational move in his weakened state, but he had mostly been irrational all his life, why change now? His damaged arm didn’t seem to move at all, but his other arm sure did. WZ dodged the many swings the android could come out with. Demonoid was surprised by the battle expertise this stranger had, but he still managed to find an opening. WZ slammed his fist into Demonoid’s face as he was trying to slice WZ in half. Demonoid had been fooled. Now he was certain this being had tremendous potential in combat. Demonoid ran at WZ and as they were about to collide in furious combat, a portal opened up before Demonoid and he passed through it. WZ had time to turn his head and saw a portal open at his face’s height. Demonoid came out running ramming his foot Into WZ’s face. The big machine was pushed back, but it wasn’t enough to make it loose it’s footing. Demonoid landed smoothly onto the ground. When he landed, he bounced a little on one foot. Demonoid : “Damn, that really hurt! What the hell are you made of? Your metal body is as hard as mine.” |

WZ felt his bruised jaw with one hand before replying. "Gundanium." He didn't wait a moment longer. He stepped forward, Cutting withhis beam sabers as he went. The dazzling blades flowed in perfect harmony, darting forth one moment as the snake strikes, parrying with an unnerving ease the next. The powerful android was forced backward one step, but he recovered, meeting WZ's weave of death. It was a very intricate tango; WZ began to hop with his motions, adding a flourish to every move. The android tried to move quicker in order to gain an advantage, but WZ kept pace with him, blocking every strike. It frustrated Demonoid, having to watch the singing blade every moment as the went to sting him. WZ didn't show it, but he was equally frustrated with his partners level of balde skill. But WZ always cherished a good joust. He grinned emphatically, a conniseur tasting the finest of wines. His enthusiasm bordered on madness. Suddenly, WZ crouched low, and brought his sabers into a defensive cross. He shot forward, his engines screaming with suddenly burst of energy required. The android met his charge, and was lifted off the ground and thorwn backward with the charge. He landed on his feet stumbling slightly, bladeheld aggressively in front. He watched as WZ catapulted himself suicidally forward, his Beam saber's ready to hit both high and low. He watched as WZ began to go into a powerful upward sweep. To meet the attack, He swung his blade wit hincredible power. However, the beam dissolved as WZ sheathed it. Normally, The offensive blade would be used to coutner balance the powerful stirke, and would have put the enemies even again. In the case of Demonoid, his wing met nothing but the air in front of him. His body came forward with the momentum, bent and exposed. WZ's offhand twisted, and he stabbed downward with the other blade. The beam dug deep into Demonoid's shoulder, melting flesh and circuitry. Demonoid felt the pain spread through the area. However, not a split second later, he knew something far was happening as a result. WZ's systems required an immense amount of energy to function. A minor city could have power for a good month considering the output of the energy pack attached to his beam weaponry. However, electro-kinetics is a tricky thing. Like, one small catch in the wiring or the encoding program, and the thing turns into a bomb. WZ's Zero system, the program feeding him calculated battle data, reversed the polarities inside WZ's gundanium suit. The only way for it to go was down, down through WZ, across the bridge created by WZ's beam saber, and down through Demonoid's body. Demonoid felt the rush of a thousand tiny needles running down his spine as his body took the full force. WZ's power promptly shut down. WZ took his shield off his back, held the one power charged Beam saber left, and backed away form his enemy. OOC: Alright, let's rock. BTW, as a result of his electro-bomb, WZ's electronic systems have shut down for 2 rounds. |

His vision blurred and a flash of colours passed in front of his vision. He almost fell into unconsciousness from the pain in his shoulder. The ringing in his head didn’t help the fact that he was fighting to stay aware of his surroundings. The voice he now felt familiar with continued on babbling in his head. Sparks flew from the wound in his shoulder. Demonoid felt the wound sting as the wind passed through it in a whistling that merged in with the alarms in his ears. He fell to one knee as he struggled with his own reflexes. The wound started to seal up, and Demonoid’s green glowing eyes began to fade. RV: “… ystem damaged. Shoulder joint almost completely un-existent. The beam sabre caused most of the damage done, but the energy flooded into your system was too much to drain. We managed to drain much of the energy into the repairs for you arm .” Demonoid: “What good is my arm if I can’t use my shoulder? Get on the repairs now! And one more thing, why do I feel damaged elsewhere from my shoulder injury?” RV: “ As I mentioned, the massive flooding of energy overheated many components of your system. Many are currently malfunctioning. We are currently working on sealing up the wound on the shoulder component sir. Repairs on the inner circuits will, be established after the wound is sealed .” Demonoid: “No! I want you to fix me up now you stupid machine.” RV: “ I beg your pardon sir, but I am part of you, so you actually insulted yourself that time. We cannot send that much energy into repairs to those minor regions. We must complete the repairs first on the shoulder. If we use too much power on the others, you might not be able to defend yourself .” Demonoid : “ I’ve been through worse, but ok fine, I’ll try and deal with him like this.” Demonoid’s vision had now returned to normal, but as he got back to his feet, a wave of pain passed through his body. The lights returned to his vision, but were quickly flushed away but a green glow. Demonoid looked at his shoulder, and the wound was completely sealed. He could still feel the repairs being done inside him, but he knew that he could use his arm again soon. He just needed a few moments, but he had no time to waste. He snatched his fallen sword from the ground. Demonoid’s eyes had now returned to their normal glow. He charged at WZ with as much speed he could muster from his body. He felt the cool wind against his face as he ran into uncertainty. He had no way of knowing if he was charging into a trap, but he was still alive after the many times he had used this technique, so he had to be doing something right. His sword collided with WZ’s shield. The force from the blow made WZ slide on the metal floor. Demonoid saw a look of surprise on his opponent’s face, but was equally surprised that he had managed to move his opponent. Demonoid tried many techniques on his opponent, but he managed to block them with expertise that Demonoid had rarely encountered. Demonoid noticed that WZ wasn’t using his blade sabres and that he was moving quite slower than he had previously. Demonoid came to the conclusion that his opponent was going to try something. He continued his onslaught, but the move never came. His mind was so set on countering the move that he made himself open unconsciously. He saw WZ’s fist as it headed for him. He knew he had no time to do anything so he prepared for the impact. If his body would have been made by any other metal than the one he was made of, he didn’t think he would have survived. He couldn’t imagine the metal holding out to such a blow. He felt like his entire stomach had been ripped apart. The voice rang again in his voice. Its annoying high pitched mechanical voice echoed through his mind. RV: “ What happened? I’ve detected a new area hit. Stop fooling around .” Demonoid : “Shut up will you!” Demonoid back away, but he was surprised to see WZ not follow him. He must be low on power. Demonoid grabbed his side with his arm, but the pain didn’t go away. He would just have to endure it until it would go away. He looked at his damaged arm and raised his hand to his face. His arm had been repaired, but he still had trouble moving it. He moved his fingers in front of him. He let his arm fall to his side. The hand was surrounded by a bright light, and another sword, identical to the one in his other hand, appeared. Demonoid dashed at WZ with the two weapons in an X pattern in front of him. He wielded the blades with great skill, but WZ still managed to block the first few swings. Demonoid finally saw an opening in WZ’s defence and slashed with all his might. He felt his blade hit and the sound of metal on metal scratching resonated in the air around them, scaring off a few birds that flew overhead. |
