Of all the generals participating in Inferno's "mugging," Golbez seemed to enjoy it the most, cracking a malicious grin on his face as he continually stomped on Inferno's face. He knew this so-called King of the Dragons was unable to defend himself, so he felt no fear of the consequences for his actions. That's when a fast Hook Kick nailed him from out of nowhere, knocking him onto his butt. Dazed, he looked up to see a black blur whizzing past his vision only to see Chaos and Ex-death knocked backwards and Inferno vanished. He looked around to see his knocked-out comrades before the power of that Hook Kick to the head gave him a delayed concussion.

Amongst a large pile of the ruins, Inferno was propped against the walls while Dontrelle sat next to him. Confused, Inferno asked for his name.

"Dontrelle," he relpied. "Dontrelle Jackson. You can call me da Jamurai." He looked the dragon over. "You look pretty banged up, Inferno. Ya think you can move?"
"Wait, wait," Inferno cut in. "How do you know me if I've never met you before?"
"You haven't met me personally," the Don replied, "but you have met Luigi. We're good friends. He speaks well of you."
"Ah."
"Anyways, can you move at all?"
"I think so. Gimme a moment to find out." With that, Dontrelle stood back to watch the King of the Dragons in action for himself.

OoC:Sorry, i didn't know I was supposed to post. I was waiting for the others...

Marshman had run for cover when Inferno had warned him. But when he saw the King of Dragons in peril, he lept into action. Apparently not as quick as the Jamurai. But as the generals prepared to attack, they heard a mocking voice cry out behind them. "Hey! Ugly, ugly, ugly, and ugly! Heads Up!".

Golbez turned to Garland, "I believe that small guy in the green over there is calling you, Garland.". Before Garland had a chance to retaliate, Marshman's heavyblade dropped into thier midst, thrown by its wielder, and pinned Golbez and Garland to the ground.

Beam leaps rather high into the sky, landing where The King of Dragons, Dontrelle, and Marshman
were.

Beam also finds Garland and Golbez, pinned down by a rather large sword weilded by Marshman.

"GRAAAAHHH!" Out of the rubble, a hidden Shadow Warrior jumped up, sword in hand and aiming towards Beam's neck. Before the dark being could swing it's sword, it's forehead explodes, splattering blood onto Beam's face.

Beam then looks at the now dead Shadow Warrior, and then turns his head to his opposite, seeing Bobbo with his gun aiming outwards, smoke rising out of the barrel.

Beam wipes the blood off his face and licks the blood, only to spit it back out.

"Blegh! That's possibly the foulest taste I've tasted in my life!"

Still disgusted by the taste of the Shadow Warrior's blood, Beam spits out another glob of it, landing on Garlands face.

Beam looks over at Bobbo and believes that Bobbo is indeed 'Friend.'

Beam walks slightly to Garland, putting his large clawed foot over his face and bending his toes inward, with his middle claw right under Garland's chin.

(OoC: Not much, but it'll do.)

Katome watched this mass chaos from a distance, not really sure whether to join in or not. Sure, it looked fun, but...it would probably be best not to get involved.

Another shadow warrior spotted Katome and rushed forward, a smug smirk on his face. It drew a knife from its belt, and raised it over its head, ready to strike. Smiling slightly, Katome darted to the side in the blink of an eye, the blade falling through empty air. Before the shadow warrior could figure out where the young half-demon had gone, Katome raised his hand, creating a flame, which consumed the shadow warrior, burning him to a crisp. Smiling slightly at his work, Katome turned to face the crowd of people.

Well, I might not know the whole story behind this...but what do I have to lose? he asked himself, and with that, he joined the battle.

ooc: what's with the battlefields changing background. oh and sorry for the delay of my post I had company over for the weekend.

Inferno looked blankly at his two allies that were with him and then got to his feet looking off into the distanceto see where the lower generals were headed. when a thunderous noise was heard. this noise was the sound of a city being destroyed.

Inferno: Tiamat just leveled the SMBHQ city, and the capital must his next target! we need to get going!

Inferno tried to walk but his injuries prevented him from going very far before he collapsed to the ground in pain.

Inferno had spread his wings wide, inspiring awe in the Jamurai. He attempted to hover in the air, but the King of the Dragons screeched in pain before dropping into a heap on the ground. Immediately, Dontrelle rished to his side.

"Oh, like hell you're going anywhere!" the Don spoke. He shifted Inferno onto his back before looking up at his other comrades. "You guys go ahead and get to the capital! I'll catch up." They all complied, and they hurried off over the ruins towards the capital.

The Jamurai looked down at Inferno, who was wincing in pain. "Hold still," he said as he placed his right hand over the Dragon King's heart.

"Why do you help me?" Inferno whispered between groans.
"A friend in need is a friend indeed, I always say," Don replied. "Now be quiet for a sec." Concentrating, the Jamurai channeled his ki through his arm into Inferno's chest, which glowed blue. Inferno sighed, as his muscles relaxed, showing that the rejuvenation process was working. After two minutes of this channeling, Dontrelle withdrew his hand and got up off his knees.

"Now get up."

Still having one of the two captured generals in a hold that can easily kill him, Beam notices Da Jamurai healing the wounded King of Dragons.

His attention is quickly drawn away and to the pain in his foot. It's not much, but enough to veer Beam to look at Garland, whom was biting on Beam's large foot.

With a simple muscle movement, Beam shoves the clawed toe under Garlands chin and into his cranium, killing him.

He removes the claw from the dead general and slowly walks over to the other captured being.

Glyph Phoenix sighed exaustedly. Just a few weeks in the area, and already a full scale attack had been declared on the planet. That is, if you could call an attempt at world conquest a declaration.

"All this destruction... I'm so inexperienced here that if I don't get hit by an enemy I'm bound to get killed by friendly fire."

Observing from the sidelines, he observed three of the most powerful villains in the universe launch their assault. "It's times like these that I wished I'd beaten FF6, 7, or any of them for that matter. I always knew that it would come back to haunt me."

Glyph focused his energy into a sphere of ready for launching and that doubled as a weak shield. He aimed it at the flying Kefka. "Maybe it won't be so bad. I've heard of people that can beat Kefka before he starts talking in the final battle. But I never even reached the final battle..."

Glyph Phoenix sighed again.

While walking a couple of steps over to Golbez, Beam senses an odd presence withen the area. Perhaps another fellow warrior that had survived the attack? Or was it another evil being, more powerful than the common Shadow Warrior?

After a few moments pondering, Beam suddenly has a breif flashback of his forgotten past, which is very slowly recovering.
He visions a village...on fire. Every hut in flames and several bloody bodies scattered around. And then he sees a small, Viera child, standing near her mother, bawling. A familiar hand appears with it's palm open, with a blade sticking out.

Beam quickly shakes his head and the flashback ends....for now. Beam looks down and at Golbez....whom has a large claw wound on his now-very pale forehead, leaking out an oddly large amount of blood.
The Blue Lizard looks at the other fellow warriors, whom have a strange look that makes Beam wonder what he had just did while he was in his daze.

the weirdest thing happens then, the blood flowing from exdeath's wound starts to flow in the opposite direction returning to the wound.

Exdeath seals his wound up with a cure 3 spell and places his helmet back on his head. he grabs Chaos and Golbez and starts running for the capital city.(hay, they're my reoccuring comic relief villans, I can't just let them die besides the real threat is Tiamat Kefka and Sepheroth)

Inferno: let them go, they're nothing compared to the greater evil at hand. now lets get going to the capital city to stop my uncle!

Inferno takes to the sky and starts flying towards the capital city of VGF.

"Lead the way!" Dontrelle shouted up to Inferno as the procession of resistance began its march towards the capital with the Jamurai, Beam, and Inferno leading the charge. The Shadow Warriors that straggled behind the main force were wiped out upon their first attack. None would get in their way as they defended their homeland.

as we progressed towards the capital city the sky became dark, not with rain, but with shadow energy. this was the signal that Tiamat had taken controll of the capital city of VGF!

Inferno: aww crap! it's happened, Tiamat has taken controll of VGF!

and an overwhelming swarm of demons and monsters flow from the capital to attack the resistance and leading the charge is my evil twin brother Shadow.

Inferno: Shadow what are you doing here?!
Shadow: Tiamat summoned me to defeat you, now shut up and fight me!
Inferno: I'm not going to fight you!
Shadow: yes you are!
Inferno: allright, we'll fight.

Inferno flew behind Shadow and clipped a potara earring onto his left ear and while still holding his brother, Inferno clipped in the other potara earring into his own right ear. the brothers fused into one warrior, Shadowblaze!!!

Shadowblaze: heehee!! I just preformed a fusion!!!

Shadowblaze landed in front of the small resistance force and smirked.

Shadowblaze: okay, we're facing overwhelming numders and nearly unbeatable odds, but we can defeat them and still get to the capital if we fight in a strait line to the capital understand?

the demons and monsters continue to advance towards the resistance who ready their weapons for an epic battle to get to the capital.

The sky was black. Not black as night, mind you; pitch black. "If anyone says that ain't a bad omen, they will be smacked," Dontrelle thought aloud. Of course, his worries were well-founded, for no sooner did the sky turn dark did a distant swarm catch the Jamurai's eyes. At first, the swarm resembled hornets and ants far off in the distance, so Dontrelle was forced to squint ahead, though his eyesight was fine enough to see them that far off. When he did, he stopped cold. Hundreds of foul creatures soared through the blackened skies and trampled on the ruins beneath, leaving a massive dust cloud behind them. They were sickening bastardizations of what they knew, and it nearly made the Jamurai retch.

Not willing to let the demons get to them first, Dontrelle took the initiative and called down the recently fused Shadowblaze. Suprising the mighty dragon, the Jamurai jumped onto his back, making him screech for a short moment.

"What's the meaning of this?!" asked a suprised yet enraged Shadowblaze.
"Relax," the Jamurai cooly responded. "You and me are takin' on the air force. The rest of 'em will take care of ground control. Now are we gonna get movin' or what?" Hesitant, Shadowblaze yielded to the Don's strategy, and the dragon took off towards the clouds.

Dontrelle was both exhilarated and disenchanted all at once by the amazing view. Besides being in an airplace, he never saw the landscape so well from so high up, and with the wind in his face, the adrenaline was definately pumping. However, the landscape could depress anyone. The whole earth was nothing more than a wasteland of brown dirt and decimated ruins of once-prominent buildings. When he remembered that these buildings were his new life, and that they were reduced to nothing but rubble, his resolve to take down Tiamat grew exponentially as he drew his magnificent blade once again. He held it high in his right hand as he hollered, "Time to blow these foo's out da sky!" Shadowblaze roared in approval, and they dashed hard and fast into the cloud of aerial demons.

Marshman took a few steps back. He sighed, looks like things were gonna get messy...well messier. He charged forward, heavyblade dragging on the earth behind him. As he grew nearer to the horde of demons, he raised the weapon above his head, leaping into the air. "Let's rock n' roll!"

Glyph changed his form of attack at the last second from a ball of energy to a rain of fiery hail. Kefka counterattacked, but not as if he were fighting a powerful adversary. He fought as if he was simply trying to keep fighting while he moved on to more important things.

Kefka set the ground ablaze to keep his opponent busy while he set off to conquer a greater goal-whatever it was. A group of Shadow Warriors surrounded Glyph and begain their assault.

Unaware of what kind of enemy he was facing, he prevented himself from reaching his full power. For Glyph, death was never a favorable outcome on either side. He focused on defensive attacks and warped the enemies into timeless, spaceless dimensions where they could be retrieved later. It took a lot more work than regular fighting, and after a long time he was hardly any further than he was when he began.

"If I find out these enemies happen to be robots or some other nonsentient being, and that I've been doing all this work for nothing, I'm going to burn a whole army of these things," Glyph said as he dodged an attack and responded with a low-energy fireball.

OOC: okay everyone should allready know I'm a HALF dragon. this means that if ANYONE tried to ride on my back they would have to either sit on my shoulders (which would make me have to hold on to the rider's legs and prevent me from fighting) or cling to my neck (which would hinder my breathing) and both would hinder my flying abilitiesseeing as I'm only 7ft tall and my wings are really close together. and I don't roar unless I'm extreamly angry. I'll show you what I mean.

Shadowblaze tried to fly forward but he lost his arial ballance with the jamuri on is back and both of them fell from the sky onto the hard ground below.

Shadowblaze: OOF! okay now we try a different plan of attack, you stay and fight on the ground, I can handle those demonic air forces by myself.

Shadowblaze takes to the sky again and draws his sword, the darkfire sword and flies right into the middle of the demon air forces. suddenly a burst of golden ki energy surrounds Shadowblaze and grows as Shadowblaze continues to power up until the ki field around him turns red and crimson fur grows on his arms, sides, back, and legs. a second tail, a crimson saiyan tail, grows next to his dragon tail. his spikey orange hair turns black and his eyes become a burning yellow with a red outline to them. Shadowblaze was now at his Super Saian 4 state, then he attacked the flying demon horde without mercy swinging his blade with the force of an errupting volcano.
Shadowblaze was killing every demon that he could in the air but he knew that the arial demons were in overwhelming numbers as it was before another group of air demons started flying from the capital.

Shadowblaze: listen, we need to just get to the capital and defeat Tiamat and his two top generals. just kill the demons in your way and keep going!

Shadowblaze, taking his own advice, fought through the swarm towards the capital city.

Dontrelle looked up at Shadowblaze as he got dropped off before he took to the skies.

"Ah, whatever, as long as I get to hit something," Don mumbled to himself as he picked up his sword and looked ahead at the incoming swarm of ground forces. Thinking quickly, Dontrelle stepped into a Side Horse Stance with the blade next to his head pointing forward. Concentrating hard, he channels his ki through his blade, making it take on a blue, flaring aura. With each passing second, the glow intensified as the energy continued to pent up. Finally, with a shout of "Sonic Boom!" he slashed his blade into a forward horizontal slice. The ki lurched forward from the blade into a magnificent blue arch of pure energy zooming forward towards the incoming rush of demons. One by one, the Sonic Boom blazed a trail through the ranks, cutting a large line of demons in half. Their remains fell amongst each other as the unrelenting forces continued to charge forward. With a hole basted through their lines, the Jamurai charged through the appreciable gap, slicing at any demon who dared to hold him back.

After sighting the horde of rushing demons, Beam grabs a rather largly sized bottle tied to the side of his pants.

Beam opens the top and drinks quite a bit of his warm sake.

He re-ties the wine bottle and then releases a large and unbearable wave of fire, which can even impress the King of Dragons himself, burning a good number of the hell-spawned creatures to (and beyond)their bones.

Soon after the flames dissapate, he saw even more running towards him and his allies.
So, once again, Beam grabs the bottle of rice wine to unleash another wave of flames.

(OoC: Really sorry for not being here lately. I STILL have no Internet at home and probably won't for another 'few' weeks.)

Just a few weeks in the area, and already a full scale attack had been declared on the planet. That is, if you could call an attempt at world conquest a declaration. "All this destruction... I'm so inexperienced here that if I don't get hit by an enemy I'm bound to get killed by friendly fire." Observing from the sidelines, he observed three of the most powerful villains in the universe launch their assault. "It's times like these that I wished I'd beaten FF6, 7, or any of them for that matter. I always knew that it would come back to haunt me." Glyph focused his energy into a sphere of ready for launching and that doubled as a weak shield. He aimed it at the flying Kefka. "Maybe it won't be so bad. I've heard of people that can beat Kefka before he starts talking in the final battle. But I never even reached the final battle..." Glyph Phoenix sighed again.

Perhaps another fellow warrior that had survived the attack? Or was it another evil being, more powerful than the common Shadow Warrior? After a few moments pondering, Beam suddenly has a breif flashback of his forgotten past, which is very slowly recovering. He visions a village...on fire. Every hut in flames and several bloody bodies scattered around. And then he sees a small, Viera child, standing near her mother, bawling. A familiar hand appears with it's palm open, with a blade sticking out. Beam quickly shakes his head and the flashback ends....for now. Beam looks down and at Golbez....whom has a large claw wound on his now-very pale forehead, leaking out an oddly large amount of blood. The Blue Lizard looks at the other fellow warriors, whom have a strange look that makes Beam wonder what he had just did while he was in his daze.

Exdeath seals his wound up with a cure 3 spell and places his helmet back on his head. he grabs Chaos and Golbez and starts running for the capital city.(hay, they're my reoccuring comic relief villans, I can't just let them die besides the real threat is Tiamat Kefka and Sepheroth) Inferno: let them go, they're nothing compared to the greater evil at hand. now lets get going to the capital city to stop my uncle! Dontrelle shouted up to Inferno as the procession of resistance began its march towards the capital with the Jamurai, Beam, and Inferno leading the charge. The Shadow Warriors that straggled behind the main force were wiped out upon their first attack. None would get in their way as they defended their homeland.

Inferno: aww crap! it's happened, Tiamat has taken controll of VGF! and an overwhelming swarm of demons and monsters flow from the capital to attack the resistance and leading the charge is my evil twin brother Shadow. Inferno: Shadow what are you doing here?! Shadow: Tiamat summoned me to defeat you, now shut up and fight me! Inferno: I'm not going to fight you! Shadow: yes you are! Inferno: allright, we'll fight. Inferno flew behind Shadow and clipped a potara earring onto his left ear and while still holding his brother, Inferno clipped in the other potara earring into his own right ear. the brothers fused into one warrior, Shadowblaze!!! Shadowblaze: heehee!! I just preformed a fusion!!! Shadowblaze landed in front of the small resistance force and smirked. Shadowblaze: okay, we're facing overwhelming numders and nearly unbeatable odds, but we can defeat them and still get to the capital if we fight in a strait line to the capital understand? the demons and monsters continue to advance towards the resistance who ready their weapons for an epic battle to get to the capital.

Not black as night, mind you; pitch black. "If anyone says that ain't a bad omen, they will be smacked," Dontrelle thought aloud. Of course, his worries were well-founded, for no sooner did the sky turn dark did a distant swarm catch the Jamurai's eyes. At first, the swarm resembled hornets and ants far off in the distance, so Dontrelle was forced to squint ahead, though his eyesight was fine enough to see them that far off. When he did, he stopped cold. Hundreds of foul creatures soared through the blackened skies and trampled on the ruins beneath, leaving a massive dust cloud behind them. They were sickening bastardizations of what they knew, and it nearly made the Jamurai retch. Not willing to let the demons get to them first, Dontrelle took the initiative and called down the recently fused Shadowblaze. Suprising the mighty dragon, the Jamurai jumped onto his back, making him screech for a short moment. "What's the meaning of this?!" asked a suprised yet enraged Shadowblaze. "Relax," the Jamurai cooly responded. "You and me are takin' on the air force. The rest of 'em will take care of ground control. Now are we gonna get movin' or what?" Hesitant, Shadowblaze yielded to the Don's strategy, and the dragon took off towards the clouds. Dontrelle was both exhilarated and disenchanted all at once by the amazing view. Besides being in an airplace, he never saw the landscape so well from so high up, and with the wind in his face, the adrenaline was definately pumping. However, the landscape could depress anyone. The whole earth was nothing more than a wasteland of brown dirt and decimated ruins of once-prominent buildings. When he remembered that these buildings were his new life, and that they were reduced to nothing but rubble, his resolve to take down Tiamat grew exponentially as he drew his magnificent blade once again. He held it high in his right hand as he hollered, "Time to blow these foo's out da sky!" Shadowblaze roared in approval, and they dashed hard and fast into the cloud of aerial demons. He sighed, looks like things were gonna get messy...well messier. He charged forward, heavyblade dragging on the earth behind him. As he grew nearer to the horde of demons, he raised the weapon above his head, leaping into the air. "Let's rock n' roll!"

Kefka counterattacked, but not as if he were fighting a powerful adversary. He fought as if he was simply trying to keep fighting while he moved on to more important things. Kefka set the ground ablaze to keep his opponent busy while he set off to conquer a greater goal-whatever it was. A group of Shadow Warriors surrounded Glyph and begain their assault. Unaware of what kind of enemy he was facing, he prevented himself from reaching his full power. For Glyph, death was never a favorable outcome on either side. He focused on defensive attacks and warped the enemies into timeless, spaceless dimensions where they could be retrieved later. It took a lot more work than regular fighting, and after a long time he was hardly any further than he was when he began. "If I find out these enemies happen to be robots or some other nonsentient being, and that I've been doing all this work for nothing, I'm going to burn a whole army of these things," Glyph said as he dodged an attack and responded with a low-energy fireball.

I'll show you what I mean. Shadowblaze tried to fly forward but he lost his arial ballance with the jamuri on is back and both of them fell from the sky onto the hard ground below. Shadowblaze: OOF! okay now we try a different plan of attack, you stay and fight on the ground, I can handle those demonic air forces by myself. Shadowblaze takes to the sky again and draws his sword, the darkfire sword and flies right into the middle of the demon air forces. suddenly a burst of golden ki energy surrounds Shadowblaze and grows as Shadowblaze continues to power up until the ki field around him turns red and crimson fur grows on his arms, sides, back, and legs. a second tail, a crimson saiyan tail, grows next to his dragon tail. his spikey orange hair turns black and his eyes become a burning yellow with a red outline to them. Shadowblaze was now at his Super Saian 4 state, then he attacked the flying demon horde without mercy swinging his blade with the force of an errupting volcano. Shadowblaze was killing every demon that he could in the air but he knew that the arial demons were in overwhelming numbers as it was before another group of air demons started flying from the capital. Shadowblaze: listen, we need to just get to the capital and defeat Tiamat and his two top generals. just kill the demons in your way and keep going! Dontrelle looked up at Shadowblaze as he got dropped off before he took to the skies. "Ah, whatever, as long as I get to hit something," Don mumbled to himself as he picked up his sword and looked ahead at the incoming swarm of ground forces. Thinking quickly, Dontrelle stepped into a Side Horse Stance with the blade next to his head pointing forward. Concentrating hard, he channels his ki through his blade, making it take on a blue, flaring aura. With each passing second, the glow intensified as the energy continued to pent up. Finally, with a shout of "Sonic Boom!" he slashed his blade into a forward horizontal slice. The ki lurched forward from the blade into a magnificent blue arch of pure energy zooming forward towards the incoming rush of demons. One by one, the Sonic Boom blazed a trail through the ranks, cutting a large line of demons in half. Their remains fell amongst each other as the unrelenting forces continued to charge forward. With a hole basted through their lines, the Jamurai charged through the appreciable gap, slicing at any demon who dared to hold him back.

Beam opens the top and drinks quite a bit of his warm sake. He re-ties the wine bottle and then releases a large and unbearable wave of fire, which can even impress the King of Dragons himself, burning a good number of the hell-spawned creatures to (and beyond)their bones. Soon after the flames dissapate, he saw even more running towards him and his allies. So, once again, Beam grabs the bottle of rice wine to unleash another wave of flames. (OoC: Really sorry for not being here lately. I STILL have no Internet at home and probably won't for another 'few' weeks.)
