The Imprisoning War was a role play done quite a while ago in the Zelda forum. It involved people taking on Zelda characters and enacting the period when Link was slumbering in the Sacred Realm.

Wyborn was Ganondorf. TML was the King, then after the King went bye-bye, Link, in dreaming. I was Zelda/Sheik, Firebolt was Impa... *thinks back* Hm... a long time ago, that was. ^_^

Although in OOT, the king was killed BEFORE Link went into coma...

So if the king WASN'T killed when the sky went black, what happened then?

And um... all we know about what happened in the castle was that the Gerudos took over the Castle; we don't know any more, any less. ^^;

That's the thing. We don't know by any means. The king could have been killed afterwards when Ganondorf had the Triforce, or he could have been killed before. Anything goes.

If the gerudos took over the castle, why were the castle guards still inside and serving IN THE CASTLE?

^ That's because, technically, we don't know even if it was the Gerudo that attacked Hyrule Castle. It could have been monsters. However, even in that respect, the Gerudo guard could have been replaced with monsters after the taking-downage took place.

By Gerudo, I meant Ganondorf representing his race as a whole. >_>

On the subject of coughing, I've caught an illness for the past week that has resulted in heavy coughing almost non-stop. It sounds like I'm hacking up a lung and/or re-catching bronchitis. So... ... if that's any excuse for not writing... >_>()
