Yaminah's red eyes became yellow and her hair red. She sighed and looked over at Lycos. I'll be back. I want to see Zackery. He nodded in understanding and Yaminah teleported to the hotel, accidently bumping into Lycrios. She sensed a sort of mystery and a sort of secretcy about Lycrios. Her vampire teeth appeared and she covered her mouth. She somehow felt his blood flowings, she heard his heart pounding. "I am terribly sorry." She responded painfully as her fangs grew back in. She quickly went to check on her baby.

The sight was enough to send his blood a boil. The sight of a vampire was almost enough to send him into a destructive rage. He felt his heart pump the blood through his veins at an increasing rate. His grudge against his former ally had never truly healed. The hate for the vampiric species only grew with time, but he had to fight the urge to rip her into little pieces. But, he had something to take care of first, and his grudge against the vampires could be controlled. He chugged back another mug of ale and signaled the barkeeper to keep them coming, still no sign of anyone at the front desk. He didn’t want to spend too much time in this place, he just needed to get this over with.

Yaminah had scented his hatred for vampires, but she wasn't afraid. She felt the anger in him, the rage, and the desire to kill her. He held himself back... why? Yaminah looked over at him once more and smiled. If he decides to pull a fight with me, I wouldn't care. I'm tired of living when I am supposed to be sleeping. She rocked Zackery back and forth and kept him close to her breast, where he silently fell asleep. She put him back and stood before Lycrios. "Not all of us are bad." She began to walk and she stopped at the doorway. " I suggest you try the Tequila Mockingbird. Might want to shake it with ice and strain it into a cocktail glass, put some lime in it, too." She disappeared.

The nerve of her. Another swift swing of the mug and the ale dissapeared into what seemed to be an endless hole, for the man looked as if he was not even slightly affected by the liquor, even for the quantity he had gulped down. Another mug filled to it's edge was placed behind Lycrios on the counter. The bartender was beginning to get into the routine of things, but when Lycrios didn't turn to grab the mug, he thought maybe this was one too many. He would leave the mug there, just in case, still afraid to offend the man. Lycrios was not about to turn his back to a vampire. He felt the ring on his finger start to warm up. The stinging pain remind him to calm himself. Even though her words were of complete idiocy, he had to refrain himself of telling her. (OoC: Don't take this personaly, this is Lycrios' point of view on vamps. Guy's got issues )

When she went to take care of her offspring, he turned to the mug of ale and swung in down in one shot. The bartender had seen him drink massive amounts in one shot, but to actually gulp down a full mug was an impressive feat. He signaled for another. The bartender was quick to oblige. Lycrios kept an eye on the vamp. He knew no vampire were good, like he was far from being good in the eyes of many. The thoughts raced through his mind so fast. The pictures of so many different things, but all had one thing in common, blood. It was everywhere. On the corpses of fallen allies, the floors of the houses of innocent people, dripping from his own wounds. Then it appeared, as if out of the fog of his memories. The face. Two more mugs went down. The heat on his hand was almost unbearable, but no one else could feel it. It was not a heat exuding from the ring, but heat as contained in that one small area of his body, almost guided by the ring. The bartender backed away after giving theman a few more mugs. The sudden flash of light from within the hood of the man was almost enough to light his face. The bartender had seen but a glimpse of him, but his face protrayed everything of anger. The dull glow in the mans eyes was growing, but it dimed down after a few seconds. He turned when the vampire walked to the doorway. He didn't even listen to her words, but knew better than to interupt. He still had a few manners. When her last few words were broken in, he quickly put in his own.

"I know not what you are doing here, but you best leave me to my work, and not bother me again. You can feel a fraction of what I feel, I know. I know many things of your kin, but, know this of me, I would not stop at ripping out your throat in front of your young one. Even if you prove to be of good intentions. Best of you to walk away and forget about me now."

His voice was cold, and almost inhuman. It was deformed as if by the sound of an animal. It had a sense of mystery to it, as if it held more knowledge than the words intended to hold. Lycrios turned back to his several mugs and started to slowly drink back the ale. His blood had slowed down, and he no longer felt the heat on his hand. Now, if things could stay this way for a moment longer. Still, after all this time, no sign of anyone at the main counter.

OOC: I didn't take it personaly, I just like to add my own crap because my character is like that. She's a mystery and when something or someone catches her attention she won't let it go.

Yaminah heard his words clearly. "Why would I forget about you?" Yaminah was surprised by her own words... something about him caught her attention...something about him seemed familiar...his voice. She knew he had encountered with many others of her kind. She took out the picture of her father from her pocket and stared into it. Did he know her father? Should she ask? She yearned to return to the hotel and ask, instead she spoke telepathically: "Lycrios, do you know this man?" The picture of a man with long dark hair with blue eyes and dark clothing appeared in his head. "Please tell me, I need to find him..." Yaminah's yellow eyes could be seen from a corner of the hotel, and she cried a tear.

"Wandering into someone's mind is not a thing you should be doing. You might regret what you find." , thought Lycrios. "I too have telepathic powers, but much less than your kin. Still, this picture you showed me is intriguing...I might have seen him before. But be aware, that what you may find on your path to him may bring you nothing but eternal sadness. I have seen many of your kind fall to my blade, and if his face is known to me, than he too might be one of the unlucky." He paused. He knew that she was aware that there might be a chance that her father was dead, but the feeling of someone saying such things to you with such an indifferent tone was always a lot to bear. "But, he might have been spared, for I only hunted down the offspring of a single vampire."

The telepathic bond was then broken, and Yaminah almost fell back. The feeling she had felt all of a sudden was almost too much to take. Such strong hate. She had felt hate before, but never on such a scale. She knew that her link only let her feel a part of the true feeling, and if this was but a mere glimpse of the hate boiling within Lycrios, it was truly a grand one. A hate which must have grown for centuries. She then heard a voice in her head. "I still inforce that you leave me be, I may not lead you to your father, but death will certainly fall upon you again if you wish to bother me further."

A P.A. system in the corner of the bar went off: "Will our new guest please report to the front desk." When he got there, Samuel, finally back from his trip, was standing there.

Alucard was downstairs attending to some other matter, and also avoiding Lycrios.

Lycos, in his human form, was in the middle of preparing a second Elixer-Down when Yaminah returned. "Shade seems distracted enough to allow me to make one of my potions for me." he said to Yaminah.

Yaminah heard Lycos, but her mind was set on Lycrios. Why does he capture her attention? She knew he had known her father. She knew he might have killed him...but she wasn't sure. He bid her to leave, but she had an urge to go back. Why? "I know. Also we should not wait until he attacks first, it might spoil everything." For a moment she felt weak and tired and lost. Her mind was blown away by Lycrios. He didn't weaken her with his telepathic powers, but his feelings were inside of her...a hatred, yet a feeling of being so tired and wanting to just......Yaminah disappeared. Not to the hotel, nor to Zackery. She was nowhere to be found.

The last mug of ale fell on the counter. He looked into his pouch and pulled a magnificent looking jewel from it. He tossed it to the bartender. He was truly amazed by the display of colours the wonderous gem displayed. Lycrios then stood up and walked to over to the reception desk. He looked at the man standing there, making sure not to reveal his face. He never did like to reveal himself to anyone. He just gave a head signal to the pouch he had left on the counter and waited for the key to his room. He knew this man was not the owner, but he did not care. He calmly waited for the man to hand him the key so he could rest.

Yaminah was inside of her room. She had gained some of Lycrios hating feeling and was not in a good mood. She back herself from everyone when she came in and locked herself in the room. She looked into a mirror but saw no reflection. She had always wondered what she looked like. Her room began to turn completely black, except for the rose that lied upon her night table. It was white with red tear drops she had cried. Zackery was in her arms. She figured she needed some time with the baby, since Shade was not attemping an attack any time soon. Plus she herself, needed a vacation. The baby slowly began to cry and she laid him on her bed and gave him some warm milk. He became calm. "What am I going to do with you Zackery? I'm not even your mother... what am I to say when you grow into a young man?" She fell asleep beside him.

"The woman who raises a child is his mother, whether it be human, elf, vamp or of otherwise of a different race."
Yaminah eyes snapped open as she looked for the source of the voice. Male, deep, arrogant, amused, and it seemed to come from behind a screen of pure fire.
"Who are you and how did you get here." She continued to look for the intruder.
"Names Aidan Dreiks, thought a name is of no real importance. As for the other, now that's on of my little secrets. Don't bother looking for me; I have my ways of keeping out of sight. Cheer up. You're not cripple, and you still have something to keep you going. Sorrow will only make you weak if you let it fester." A disturbingly light chuckle punctuated his last word and he was gone. Yaminah might no have noticed him enter in some way, but his departure was obvious.

Unmarked gold coins rattle on the front desk. Pure gold.
"Monk." Lycrios commented before anyone else noticed the half naked man standing besides him. Muscled as any blacksmith of experience he stood over half a foot shorter then the cloaked warrior. Quite the difference to them. While Lycrios was fully cloaked, the other wore nothing but loose silk trousers and his belt. A breaded strand of leather to keep the red mullet away from his eyes. Or rather, eye. For one was covered with an eye patch. No wonder as the scar that began around his left temple went right down the middle of said eye to cleave the man in half and exit below the right ribs. The golden eye held amusement matching the smirk on his face. Tail on his shoulder a golden dragon spiralled down the arm with it's head on his right hand. No, it did not live. It seemed to, yet was only a tattoo.
"Sword wielder." A polite nod to no one in particular, yet obviously to Lycrios. "How's the ale."
"Fine." It had to be, it's scent was filling the scared one's nose.
"Good, good. Usually means the strong will be at least drinkable." Strange that his arrogance did not seem to bother the larger man.
"You'll drink the crudest as long as it is strong."
He chuckled. How could he react anyway else to the truth. Looking over at Samuel he waved him off walking away.
"Chill, I'll find a room myself."
Strangely his fire coated voice was perfectly understandable and even of tone even as he was halfway up the stairs. How had that happened?

This would prove interesting indeed. Rare were the occasions when these two beings were at the same place where something bad didn't happened. Lycrios secretly hopped that this was not one of these times, but he knew that was more likely than the other. Still, he had to get his job done over quick, and the less distractions, the better. The vampire had proven to be quite disturbing on his emotional level, for to fight back memories was not what his mind needed right now. He needed to concentrate on the task at hand. His mind was racing as he waited for the key to his room to be handed to him.

"Here you go Lycrios" Samuel said as he handed a key to Lycrios, then vanished with another key in his hand. When Aidan entered the elevator, Samuel was already there. "Your key," He said and dissapeared again.

He knew not how the man knew his name. His name had not been ushered once in his time in the hotel. Not even the monk, who was the only one here who knew his name for sure, had not said a word. He found this odd indeed, and an event like this would have usually leadm him to hunt down an question the person, but for now, he was tired, and some rest would help clear his mind for what was to come later. He looked at the number on the key and proceeded to his room.

Yaminah had sent Lycos a telepathic message telling him she will be resting for a couple of days. Then she looked foward, and:"Aidan Dreiks", she whispered in the darkness. She didn't see him when he came in, but she felt his presense close. The name did not sound familiar, nor did she care about it. The baby was completely asleep and Yaminah took him to Alucard. She then felt Aidan's presense near her and spoke."I know not what you want, and why you came to speak to me, but thank you. Next time, knock on the door." She moved closer to where she felt him and smiled. "Show yourself, for I will not harm." He knew she would harm him nor be a complete idiot, he smiled.

"Over here."
Yaminah turned to look and her eyes settle on the monk, quite the different direction then she had supposed he was in. Dreiks was simply leaning on a wall face slightly downcast. Not even trying to hide his smirk and amusement at Yaminah being wrong about his whereabouts..
"I know you won't hurt me, you can't. I'm a little too slippery for that. As for my little visit. Just this nagging feeling I had. I always follow my instincts and they led me to your room. I just don't feel like knocking most of the time. Old habits die hard, and all that." He chuckled and turned the key Samuel had given him around in his fingers. Such a silly thing, giving him a specific room. Then again, it had it's uses. Most involved him not staying in it. A strange thought to actually sleep in a bed again. Kill her. That would not be nice guys.Shut thy mouth knave. Yes kill. Burn them, burn them all. What's with you guys and killing? Shush you. Kill. Quiet, fool. Kill. And be alone again? Ya dude let this place BURN. He's right, not nice at all. Let the flames consume this place. Bah, all of you are wrong we should just leave. Yes, kill them and bath in they're blood. Yeah shush.
"Hmm, excuse me, but I must take care of something." he turned and left, around the corner he was gone without a trace. Not even footsteps to tell his passage. Did he even make a sound when he moved? None could remember any.

He made his way into his room. The modest fournishings of the room was quite plenty enough for the man. He had been living in the wilderness for the past few months, and the comforts of the indoors sometimes appealed to him. Although he could never stay in such a place for long. He was a nomade by nature, never settling long enough in one place, all but that one grove he yearned to return to shortly.

He then stopped dead in his tracks, in the middle of his rooms. He felt the heat on the back of his neck and the hair on it lift. He felt the tip of his ears tingle, and the smell invade his nose. Almost nothing could escape his keen sense of smell. If the thing gave out any kind of odour, he would smell it. And this smell was strong. Not to anyone, not even standing next to the thing emitting the smell would have destinguished it, but Lycrios smelled it all too clear. A mixture of blood, alcoholic substances, none the too light in alcoholic percentage, and a slight smell of spices, indicating that something had been eaten recently. By recently, it could have been near two weeks from then, but still, Lycrios' sense of smell was as sharp as the blade he carried.

If all that was not enough to indicate who was standing in the room with him, the disturbance in the air itself was. An aura was not something easily detectable, most especially when the thing emitting it made sure to conceal it, but, the familiarity of the aura made it subtlily easier to detect.

"Monk." was a simple word, but in it was wrapped things far beyond comprehension to anyone else who would have overheard them. These things hidden under years and years of friendship and travel. The light chuckle was enough of a response as Lycrios turned to his old friend.

"Sorry about this, but a few things acting up again."
Lycrios nodded as Aidan sat in a corner and almost vanished from his senses. He had to admit, even he could not detect the monk if he truly wanted to hide. Even knowing where to look did not make it any easier. He almost smile as he sat down. The door was closed. He had not even heard the soft click of it closing, and that was saying a lot. Dreiks would have made the most deadly of assassins look like amateurs if he would choose to pursue that lifestyle. Lycrios stared at the monk for a moment, how could one as chaotic continue to be able to follow his old ways, and even meditate. He was thankful for it really, one of them would be dead and ashes long since if it had been any other way.
"Chill dude, anger must be controlled properly or it will consume you. Then again, you never were one to let your emotions flow. Or anything, more of the brute force approach." Aidan chuckled. Most people would have been thoroughly freaked out by Dreiks disembodied voice. Not only did it not respect distance in its clarity, but his mouth currently lay closed in a picture of perfect serenity. Yet, this was far from the first time Lycrios had experienced this. So, he only grunted. Half of most of there conversations where like that. Aidan randomly saying something, and a short answer from Lycrios. Then again, they were far beyond words. Brothers that had spent they're lives together were rarely as close as the two of them. Years of battle, wandering, fighting, and all around running from creatures that could swat them away like flies. But those days were over, they were no longer the young monk and mercenary of old. The roles were reversed. They were the ones to be feared.
"How's he been doing?" Aidan left the he as vague as could be, yet there was no doubt in the others mind who it could mean.

"Fine", responded Lycrios, with a side smirk. He, of all people, would know that he was fine. Not much things could come of harm to a creature which posessed immortality. The monks questions were vague, random and completely incoherent, basicaly completely chaotic in nature, as was the monk himself. Much like the monks actions, even though most of the things were almost completely unrelated, all had one common goal. This little string of questions was as simple as two friends recalling old times and talking about what had happened in the last few years they had been appart. To anyone, this conversation would have been completely indescipherable, but to these two, it was second nature.

"So, I heard that you've become more popular to the east." stated the monk. Lycrios knew what he was talking about. He had finnaly established himself into a simple lifestyle a good distance away, but even there, in seclusion from everything, his nature was not contained. Word quickly spread of the woods in which he inhabited He knew this was what the monk was talking about, but he evaded to respond, as always, when he grunted lower than usual, nodding his head to clarify to the monk, although it was not really needed. "Thirsty?" asked Lycrios, knowing that the monk would be soon.

He paced around the room, examining any place suspiscious, any exit and entrance. He examined the windows intensly. He had always been paranoid in sleeping in a room of any kind. He felt like a caged animal in such a place. He sat down on the bed, staring at the monk, awaiting a response, but he already the answer. When the monk would be finished, they would head down to the bar and continue their little chat there. In the meantime, he looked at the ring on his left hand. The silver object shun impressively. The red insignia on it made it's seemingly rich origines look that much more impressive. It was carved quite intricatly, with strange designs circling around. Lycrios turned it around his finger in a sort of sub-conscious way.

"Still playing with that thing eh?" asked the monk, more to bring Lycrios back to his senses. The warrior snapped to, realising his action. He then drew his mighty sword. Many would have at least looked as the sound invaded the room, but the monk stayed relax, knowing no harm was intended to him. Lycrios then sat down on the bed, and began sharpening his blade. It was as sharp as could be, and seemed to be unable to dull, but he did so anyway. It was a habit he had, right before going on a...
