His thirst for alcohol was as great as Lycrios' capacity to store food. He sheathed his sword and walked out. He knew not if the monk was following him or not, for the monk had a way of evading his very keen ears. He made his way back to the bar. The bar keeper was suprised to see him back so soon, seeing as he had emptied almost half the ale in the bar already. If this continued, the bar would be emptied of the substance by nightfall. Still the same routine. He sat down at one of the stools at the bar and motioned the bartender. This time, the bartender knew exactly what drink to bring him, and he wasted no time putting the mug of ale in front of the imposing figure. Lycrios gave a quick glance around the room. He knew the monk would pop in his head soon enough, so he motioned the bartender to ready a few shots of whiskey. He knew the monks favored drink, and he also knew that things would get interesting after a few hours spent remenissing at the bar. His mind wandered back to the vampire he had seen when he had first gotten to the bar. Her quest seemed a doomed one, but he couldn't help but run through his thoughts and memories at the picture she had shown him. Something inside him knew that face didn't feel right. He had seen that face before. Another quick glance around the room, this time not for the monk. The thought of the vampire had also returned his first thoughts to him. why he was in the hotel in the first place. Still not here. He would have smelled him if he would have been even anywhere near the outskirts of the hotel. He'd just have to wait. |

"I'm a vampire...not suppose to sleep much." She stood and wandered into the lobby. It was morning, she didn't feel like putting a sunlight protection spell on herself and didn't feel like doing much. She was weak. She had done so much during her stay here, and now was her break-down. She thought of Zackery and wanted to see him, but instead she sat down and closed her eyes. Why am I so tire? She asked herself, and suffered to open her eyes, but couldn' t. She fell asleep right there. |

She looked weak, but this was not what made his heart race. He had now figured out where he had seen the face. He glanced again her way. He couldn't tell her now, she was too much in an emotionaly drained state. And was not about to start anything in this hotel. All he needed to do was finish his job and head back to his lands. Simple. Still, the monk was not here for no reason. He was always a sign that something of importance was to happen. He swung down another mug of ale. The bartender was no longer suprised at the feat. It had now been a cue for him to bring another mug to the man. The only thing seriously puzzeling the simple man was how this cloaked figure could hold in so much alcohol and not begin to faulter in anyway. His stance was as strong as ever, and his senses seemed intact. Lycrios scanned the large lobby. Still no sign of him. He wasn't sure who he was looking for anymore. The monk, the job, or the vamp. Another drink would settle his mind... |

Suddenly, a man bursted from the ground, half decomposed, it was Wong.... "They think that I was defeated, didnt they, well, I am back, and I am ready to kill again, but I am in no contidtion to fight, I must allow my body to regenerate...." Back in the hotel... 9-Volt was silently drinking whisky at the bar, he had lost so much... He was depressed. His parents are gone, Kio is dead, and Ginshin is nowhere to be found, he was alone in the world, as the last of the Nine Dragons... He gulped down a shot. "He bartender, I need anouther shot!" |

| Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2002 Location: A distant futur Gender: Posts: 434 Thanks: 0 Thanked 1 Time in 1 Post | The smell of decomposing flesh filled Lycrios' nose. The smell was a strong one. He felt a source of energy flow in the suroundings of the hotel, but he did not care for such things. His mind was now lost in the many thoughts consuming it. He heard something from the other side of the bar, but yet again did not care. Another quick glance. Still not there. Where could he be. His sources were always correct. This was an odd occurence indeed. Maybe he had gotten word of his coming and had already left. If the trail were to loose it's sent, it would be a simple matter of leaving this place. He had no intention to overstay his time in this place. Although he knew this was more likely to happen then not. He looked over at the glasses of whiskey, and all were now empty. The monk sat next to him with his usual grin. "So, you buying?", he said with a joyful tone still detectable from the distortion of his voice. Lycrios knew this to be a joke, for the monk held more riches on him then any treasure of this world. The two sat there in silence for a while, slowly drinking back their drink of choice. |

| Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Somewhere... Posts: 253 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | Yaminah felt Lycrios eyes had looked over at her many times. She stood up and walked toward him, her energy half-way retained. "You know that man in the photo...you know my father." His eyes widened for one momentand Yaminah could feel his heart pumping. "Tell me anything you remember. Was he a vampire? Did you kill him? Is he dead? What is his name?" Her eyes became blue and her hair long and dark. Tears came tumpling down and she held his hand for a moment just to not fall over, then she let go softly. "Please?"Her eyes grew wide and she seemed entranced. There was only one word out of her mouth: "Wong." She returned to her normal state. "Too much is happening..." Another tear of blood ran down her cheek. Her face was stained with blood and her body was very weak from the blood lose. She hadn't drunk blood for years and years...now she needed it most but didn't want to hurt anyone. Her fingers snapped and a cup of blood appeared, she patiently drank. "I'm sorry, I know this bothers you but..." She fell to the floor and fainted... He smirked at the piled up shot glasses who's form seemed to defy the laws of physics. "Demonic or infernal? Maybe abyssal? What is it?" Lycrios asked with interest, ignoring Yaminah at his feet. The monk had stacked up those empty glasses for some sort of reason, and even if it had been of simple needing something to occupy his attention it was far more important then the actions of a vampire. "Succubus, or so it seems at first look. You might even think angelic with some of it's archetype. Very strange... Especially since I never saw it before in my life...Well I might as well drop the stupid vamp somewhere else before somebody steps on her or something. Flame, can't believe a vamp is that stupid." Aidan said slipping his foot underneath the unconscious woman. A simple movement of the leg and she was flipped into the air and he tucked her under his arm with as much ease as anything else he did. "How can anything live so long and be so damned idiotic." He sighed moving away. Lycrios simply gave a small grunt. Words were far from necessary to show his agreement. Much to short a time later Aidan dropped Yaminah into her bed. He gave her one last look and a shake of the head before leaving. The foolish girl. How could she possibly take care of a child if she could not even keep herself in good health. He stopped by the bar for a moment to see Lycrios once again simply drinking, waiting. A quick movement of his wrist shattered the small structure he had created. Tossing a some of those unmarked coins to the simple man behind, he walked away again. Maybe he could find a use for his room after all. Lycrios did not seem to notice Dreiks, or his slightly insane actions. He had become used to the madman's random ways long ago. |

How close to death she had been withou realising it. For, to rip her arms off in a single bloody movement would have been too easy. He could stand the sight of one of her kin, even talking to one such as herself was bearable, but to feel their heatless skin on his own was something he would not have. Yet again the smell of a rotting corpse crept up to his nose but he shook it off, trying to find the smell of the one he had come here for. Still not back, how long would he have to wait. If too long, then maybe the vampires questions would be answered, if he could have at least a few minutes of peace. He sipped the alcoholic drink with delight. Oh how long it had been since he had tasted it. He knew she would be back, seeking answers, most of which he could not say, but, he knew a few things, or thought he did. He need to sort through the memories. A task not easily done. Another quick glance, still no sight of him. He gave up his attempts to find him visualy. He knew that the instant he was a decent distance from him, he would catch his sent. All he needed to do was wait. |

Posts: 195 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | Zado cursed angrily as many flew past his head, the heat of them singing his scales. He was pinned down in an outcropping of rock, and was surrounded by a number of brutes. He knew the boulders he ws taking cover behind would eventually melt,so he had to do something quick. With a flash of inspiration,he switched on his active camo, fully aware that it was low on power. ``Show yourself, elite coward!``One of the brutes roared, firing off a flurry of plasma at the melting boulders.Suddenly, the blade of an energy sword appeared through his chest, hissing as his blood evaporated.``Coward?I think not.``Zado hissed as he brought the Blade upward, slicing the brute in half. His victory was shortlived,as the 5 other brutes had caught sight of him.The Elite Warrior quickly deactivated his energy sword and whipped out his dual plasma rifles, just as the traitors opened fire upon him. Zudamee strafed to the side, shots whizzing past him as he returned fire of his own.One of the brutes roared in agony, its fur flaming, and charged at him like a grotesque gorilla.Zado snorted in disgust, shooting the Berserking creature down before it could reach him.His shield endicator beeped loudly as the Brutes found their target. The Spec ops commander rolled to the side, taking cover behind a tree, which didnt provide much protection against plasma. But Zudamee didnt intend to hide behind it... The Tree soon caught flame, which was exactly what Zado had wanted. With a grunt of effort,Zudamee ripped the tree out of the ground, lifted it above his head, and hurled it at the Apes.Caught by suprise, they were pinned to the ground by the flaming Maple. The tree exploded a second after,a plasma grenade stuck to the bark the cause. Zado took a moment to catch his breath and let his energy shields recharge, then moved on father into the forest.Soon,he heard loud growling and roaring. He knew he was getting closer to the brute incampment, but had no idea as to what had happened to his squad. They were supposed to meet him here, but were no where in sight.Deciding he would move on without them,Zado snuck closer to the brute camp... |

She didn't faint on purpose or to gain attention, she was indeed much too weak. She glared into the mirror and saw no reflection, but didn't care. She was in a better state right now and decided to go for a walk. She walked into the lobby without a glance at Lycrios and put the protection spell on herself as she walked into the sunlight and smiled, she ran off fast. |

A simple red dress with long black boots, her dark hair in a braid and only one ring on her finger. Her eyes glared at the bar and she walked toward it. The smell of lavender she carried, reached everyones noses. She still had golden glitter all over her body, and still had her thick Egyptnasnanion accent. "Bartender, aillai(please)." She smiled. "A God Child, aillai. Poudea(Thank you)." She looked over at the man sitting beside her, and smiled. The bartender gave her the drink and also for the first time drank it in one gulp. "A Whiskey Squirt, aillai." She handed the bartender a ruby and a diamond. The bartender, knowing she had no money from here, accepted with delight. All but the smell of the hotel, which he force himself to check at every interval he could. Still no sign of him, but a new scent a crept up to his nostrils. Quite close too. He snapped back, just in time to see a woman sitting next to him. She smilled at him, but he made sure to not reveal his face. The cloak was still over his head, casting a shadow upon his features. He didn't want to talk much, so he pretended not to see her and fell back into his thoughts, not before gulping down another mug of ale. He must have gone through at least 30 to 40 mugs by now, and he still looked like when he had just walked in. The next mug went down in the same fasion, and so did the one after that. Another dozen down. He then started sipping back on the one after that. Now lost in his mind again. |

| Senior Member | Outside the hotel... "AHHHH!!!" Something called, flying from the sky. It crashed into the soil of outside the hotel. It was X-3, the young, grey hedgehog who had been assiting Thega on her mission to save Zack. For some reason he had came back. "God, I HATE teleporters! Almost as much as yogurt!" X-3 complained quicky, shuddering at the fact that people acually LIKE that stuff. "Meh, lets see... Where was the entrance? Oh, there." he approached the door of the hotel and steped in, also ading, "Who the heck am I talking to anyway?" Inside, he headed towards his room, not noticed. Upon entering, he noticed Saria was gone completely, but Rush was still there, horified. "Hey, Rush? Whats up? And wheres Saria?" X-3 asked patiently. "She... Shade... Omega... Sacrifice..." Rush answered, too scared to even speak clearly. "Huh? Hey, whats this sticky looking thing on your back?" X-3 inspected "it". It looked like a slug or something that seemed to be making Rush a coward. "Ah. Let me pull that... thingy off." He tugged on it for about 5 minutes, withno success. Rush suddenly pointed at the air. There was a little, tiny small blue dot. "Ah. So thats where she went." Rush smiled after X-3 noticed it. "Lets see... what would open this blue thingy..." Rush pointed to X-3's Elemental Blade. "Ah. Good. Now I can get the heck away from you, sorry, but you're scaring the heck out of me." X-3 slahed it open, expecting to get to Saria, but something different happened... something... well, for now, lets say bad. |

He flowed forward with grace beyond what should be capable in his current state. Sweat soaked his muscled frame as his voice resonated within the room. No words were pronounced, just a simple roar that would have been defening to anything with ears close by, as he charged the thing before him. Countless heap of crap metal decorated the room. A simple four corned thing with hard wood flooring except the supposed mat in the middle. He had adopted to turn this sleeping chamber into a training room. The equipment had proven weak and unreliable. Titanium was such a soft material. He ignored the surface beneath his feet. Slippery one moment, spiked the next. Always changing. He simply raged forward. The golem in front of him had proven to have already lasted a few moments compared to the last. Dreiks soared threw the air and slammed his fist down upon the mechanical creature. He gave it credit for being able to raise it dozen limps trying to block him, yet it lost it all and then some by allowing it's adamantite frame to be crushed under the monk fist. It's six legs buckled under as it's main frame contracted. The floor came next breaking under the impact of the raging beast. The warrior followed the creature crashing threw the floors beneath it. As they started getting closer to the ground floor nature had it's way and they started to slow down and the well built golem began to retaliate. Yet, it was to slow, and nature was something Aidan defied regularly. His second hand struck the thing giving it even more speed. Lycrios continue to steadily drain away the ale. He heard multiple crash from above, yet did not pay any attention to him. Even those that seemed to come closer, or the roar before them. The ceiling atop him burst open as the black mangled mass fell towards his head. He simply sipped from his ale. A split second the monk followed. He spun on himself head over heels and sent every once of force gathered into one kick. With a ear bending shriek of metal on metal the golem shattered into thousands of pieces. The shards rained across the lobby. Lycrios simply sat where he was sipping his ale, he had not even flinched as the golem easily three dozen times his weight was a foot away form his head. Nor did he when shards embedded themselves in the counter, some almost ripping into his cloak. Yet not a single one even touched his clothing. He was not the only one spared. The razor sharp shrapnel had struck no one or anything of importance to anybody in the lobby. Everything in the lobby felt Aidan's anger, his wrath. That much rage in one creature was beyond comprehension. How could anything have that much anger and still be sane to any degree? Aidan took a deep breath and it all dissipated become the picture of self control again. With his smirk back on his lips he stepped away from the small crater and walked towards the front desk. He tapped his fingers and hummed cheerfully waiting for someone to arrive. He might as well pay for the damages. The sweat covering his body steamed off his flesh as he waited. |

There is a cut running down her right arm, and the cut immidiatly heals itself. She seems well and full of energy. When she enters the hotel, the first thing she does is carry Zackery into her room and take care of him. She does not bother to look around, although she still wants those questions answered by Lycrios, she's giving him time. |

If Lycrios did not mention his name to your character, then he isn't supposed to know it. You can use the name in a narrative way, but know this, if you're character knows his name and he isn't the one who told it to you, then, that's not a good thing. ----- He felt uneasy all of a sudden. His name had spread to this region already. How could this be? He had been sure to wipe out anyone who had know his name, all but the monk and a selected few were left alive. All of which he considered dead to him anyway. He would need to question these individuals later, but for now, he had grown tired. His staying at the bar was not helping his search for the man. So he asked the bartender a few questions. The man had been shaken by Lycrios' voice, for it was the first time he had actually spoken the entire time there. He tried to answer the questions as best he could, but Lycrios' questioning was vague and unprecise. He knew this was not the best of ways to get information, but he did not want to attract too much attention, and asking direct questions about someone was always a way to attract the ears of unwanted listeners. He made sure not to name anyone, and the questions he asked didn't even seem to relate to any particular person. Still, he had gotten a few clues. As he chatted with the man, he saw other guests in the hotel. A stranger grey-ish creature can scrambling through the front door and muttered some incomprehensible jargon. Lycrios deemed this to be un-nescessary of his attention. Another being was sitting at the bar nearby, but he seemed lost in a pool of self-regret. Lycrios was not one to go and bother anyone who clearly wished to be alone for now. If he needed to question the man, the time would soon be there. As if time was of an issue anyway. Another mug down, and still the memories crept into his thoughts. |

She's also a witch, which is another reason to how she knew your name. As you can tell, vampires are very mysterious, which implies to my character's way of just saying your name in such. Its no big deal. If you want to even know about what my character is, go to the book of warriors. [ June 04, 2005, 11:40 AM: Message edited by: Princess Valora Bastet of Egyptnas ] |

| Senior Member | The tiny blue ball grew huge, bigger the X-3 at least, and then... exploded. X-3 was thrown back, and he hit the wall with a SMACK, blood dripping from his mouth. "A trick..." He inspected, "But it didnt kill me... unless there is more to this..." He noticed a red slash on his chest. In front of him was Rush, laughing like crazy, with a sword 2x the size of X-3's blade. He vanished, and then the room was covered with glass mirriors, each one with Rush laughing. "This is weird." X-3 commented, "I better play the Twilight Zone theme in my head, heh..." He examined the mirors. After a while, he noticed one had butterfly wings, another had horns, the next one was bit ghostly, and the last one was normal. X-3 lifted his hand to the latter. Suddenly, a white stream shot out, like lightning to a rod. The mirror turned white, then shot back, hitting X-3 head on. Then Rush burst out of the mirror and slashed him once more, this time spread across his arm. "I need to me more careful." X-3 grumbled to himself. He shot at the normal Rush mirror once more. This time, X-3 back-fipped out of the way of the blast, equiped his Elemental Blade on his right hand, and charged a ball of energy on the other, and jumped off the mirror the white stream attack hit, which bounced back, and at the same time the attack hit the same mirror again, his slashed it with his blade, shattering it, with Rush appearing, sorta surprised. Then, X-3 shot the ball of energy, now very big, at Rush. The shot caused him to fall backward, allowing X-3 to slash him 2 times, then shooting him with his white stream atack one more time. "Man, I overuse my Omega Blaster attack too much." X-3 commented, pointing his blade at Rush. "Now, drop the weapon and EXPLAIN." The slug on Rush's back fell of and dissolved. Rush, regaining total sences, "Saria is in... that portal that I... managed to open. And be careful of those slug things..." He collapsed. "Right..." X-3 said, looking at a open portal outide, "How the heck did I not notice that? Maybe I need glasses..." as he finished, the rest of the mirrors shattered like the former. "For now, I think I'll get a quick drink to "heal" myself, then go in quickly..." X-3 planed, heading to a cooler, filled with bottles of his favorite drink... Orange Fanta. |
