I liked your character a lot in this round; it really showed more of what he can do, even though it wasn’t as long as it could’ve been. I think you do a good job at conveying the damage done to your opponent. In terms of writing, yours could become a bit more extravagant, but that’s my taste. I think you’re fine as it is. You were brutal and fair. This was overall a respectable bout. Outcome: Loser Erdawn: Comments: I think this was the best you did yet in this tournament, quite honestly. I liked the character more than some of your others, too. You did very well with writing your posts – I greatly enjoyed them. With that said, there were a few things that you can tweak you make them even better. I’ll talk to you about those later. In terms of fighting (which is the basis of the entire tournament) you slightly overtook your opponent. I want to stress the ‘slightly’. You were both brutal, both in your own ways, and it is due to the diversity that it was so close. Fun, fun, fun; I liked it. Good performance. Outcome: Winner Battle 2: Atmos vs. Wyborn Atmos: Comments: You take things too seriously sometimes, man. Don’t sweat the small stuff, be more laid back, etc. Just relax and roll with the problems that come at you. With that said, you became too discouraged after what happened and just half-assed your post. I was rather disappointed. I knew you could perform better. Next time, just try to be a bit stronger with taking abuse from others. It’s hard but it builds a lot of character. Outcome: Loser Wyborn: Comments: You had the better introduction, so you win. Yay. No, seriously. You dealt with your opponent’s depression and rolled with the situation – you adapted. That’s good. Bravo. Outcome: Winner |

And sorry for the dissapointment but I don't like posting when I can't put no creativity. I was gonna just use some new moves I thought of but with whats on my mind I couldn't sum it up into a sentence. This was just bad timing on my part...and I did not take what anyone said about my battlefields seriously, I didn't care. I just switched the battlefield because I just said whatever... |

Or do you mean in character abilities or moves, or just general persona? I'm not debating the judging, just curious as to how you mean. |

It just seemed to linger for a bit too long. You did give incredible description, which was really nice. I think the only reason why you don't get this round is because you didn't fire the gun in your, what was it, second post, to give yourself a handicap. Edrawn: Ok, your posts seemed like you wanted someone's ass to be kicked. Apparently, it points to Nintendogod. Winner by a slight margin: Edrawn. ROUND TWO: Atmos vs. Wyborn. Atmos: For the love of God, is there always going to be a joke round? You really disappointed me. If you want to give up because of just one fighter, why bother participating? Every fighter should have the feeling they can win even if they're as bad as X-3 was in the Nintendoland Tourney. (Sorry, but I had to use you as an example ) Wyborn: Lovely intro. I want to see you and Edrawn smash each other apart. Winner: Wyborn. I expect better next tournament, though. |

That's fine. You aren't getting respect because of your "haha, i will annoy everyone by not explaining where we're fighting" and then the little whine session about "poor me, noone likes my arenas, lets fight on an empty field." Now, you might be mad at me for saying that. But it's true. If you want respect, earn it. It isn't something you get if you complain enough or get emotional over. Describe your battles better. Choose arenas not to be annoying but to be interesting. If you like some place to fight in but someone might not have played there, add some description of it into your intro. If someone has an issue, either with you or something you have a say in, solve it rather than falling apart. That way, the next time you have to leave and you say so, noone will give you any crap. Okay? [ August 02, 2005, 03:31 AM: Message edited by: NintendoGod ] |

I don't want to see another post involving this matter. It's been discussed far more than it should've in my opinion. Let's just return to the tournament. |

And well, I think this might be one of my last posts for a while ( well, after the next judging). Taking a break from being online and stuff, work is just too much right now. Wyborn vs Atmos My vote: Wyborn He gave up, there. So Wyborn is the winner. But if I had to judge on the posts, Wy takes it. Very good entrance. See, short and sweet. Now, other one… Erdawn vs NintendoGod My vote : Erdawn One of the best battles I’ve read in a long time. Still, my lack of time pushes me to only put a few words on this thing and run. So yeah, my vote to Erdawn, was really hard to choose. NG had a slight lead for my vote for most of the way, but Erdawn’s last post tipped the odds in his favor. I just loved reading it. But yeah, sorry I don’t really have time to elaborate. |

It's time for judgment. In the immortal words of many Mortal Kombat bosses 'FINISH HIM!' Wyborn, Erdawn, execute your adversaries. The Championship match will appear Friday morning. Good luck. |

And only after that did Erdawn push himself up. He stumbled, slightly, his legs weak from the release of such intense power, and stumbled over the broken rock cascade that had been a nobler-than-thou statue of some nameless, reverred warrior. He found Lucius sprawled and awake, his body resting splayed and broken over chipped and shattered boulders, staring at his enemy with baleful intensity. His eyes quivered like a cornered animal's - a mixture of defiance and pride and knowledge that was almost untempered fear. The Cimmeran stood proud and spat to clear his mouth of metal, copper. -His spine is broken... or dislocated.- he said to himself, observing with silent and deafening scrutiny the bulging curvatures, how the upper-part of the warrior's torso seem displaced one foot to the left of his hips and legs. Lucius didn't say anything. Erdawn neither. There were moments beyond words, and the longhunter strode silently forward and with silent power lifted the broken man, who might have struggled had he the ability to move, only managing to shake his head and gnash his teeth. With one hand at the man's throat and the other at his belt, he heaved his defeated adversary over his shoulders like a log and walked silently to the docking bay. Fissures had cracked across the foundations, girders were groaning in some places, and some of the stations were empty - their airships dropped at the force of Erdawn's God Fist. With solemnity he came to the edge, overlooking the swirling colour of the land so far below and the tufted froth of pearly clouds which stood in the way. The wind buffeted him, his hair, opening wounds, pushing at his balance, but he held his ground, and with one, mountanous heave, he hurled Lucius's carcass from his shoulders into the blue yonder beneath Station 13. He fell soundlessly, shrinking to nothing, vanishing into a cloud only to re-appear as a black dot before sinking from sight -- even the longhunter's. And Erdawn did not leave until he was sure his opponent had been smashed off the earth. OoC: Is the final round two weeks like in the NLBFT, or just one week? More time to post in two weeks. Bigger stuff. Yar. [ August 04, 2005, 10:13 PM: Message edited by: e-r-d-a-w-n ] |
