To everyone else, it makes them stop and think too hard about it if I don't call them white grapes. |

This cruel past makes many residents reluctant to put grapes in fruit bowls. The well-documented cases of British tourists swooping into homes and devouring grapes while shouting the names of their grape-deprived ancestors does not help matters. |

The most common name is white grapes (hence white grape juice and white wine, neither of which are truly white, but come from varieties of white grapes). If they are called green grapes in your area, that is outside the norm. EITHER WAY THEY ARE DELICIOUS. |

Incidentally, I think we should adopt the 'box of grapes' thing. Because the current system of putting grapes in vented (read: pre-shredded) bags that don't seal properly leaves a lot to be desired. |

You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, grape-kabobs, grape creole, grape gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple grape, lemon grape, coconut grape, pepper grape, grape soup, grape stew, grape salad, grape and potatoes, grape burger, grape sandwich. That- that's about it." |
