I know, I totally just call them green grapes within the family. To everyone else, it makes them stop and think too hard about it if I don't call them white grapes.

I've only heard them called green grapes here in Americaland.

^Well, it's clear to me that Australia was in fact a colony for criminals who recklessly stole grapes from fruit bowls. This cruel past makes many residents reluctant to put grapes in fruit bowls. The well-documented cases of British tourists swooping into homes and devouring grapes while shouting the names of their grape-deprived ancestors does not help matters.

They don't come in boxes, I put all mine into a box once they were washed and pulled from the vine-y stem thing.

The most common name is white grapes (hence white grape juice and white wine, neither of which are truly white, but come from varieties of white grapes). If they are called green grapes in your area, that is outside the norm.

EITHER WAY THEY ARE DELICIOUS.

Incidentally, I think we should adopt the 'box of grapes' thing. Because the current system of putting grapes in vented (read: pre-shredded) bags that don't seal properly leaves a lot to be desired.
