I doubt I’ll get to it every day, but I’ll try to get to it at least a few times a week. Here’s the first installment: Listen to Advertising Lullabye by George Carlin : http://www.napster.com/player/tracks/13782351 (to listen to it you have to do a quick register w/ Napster, but all they need is an e-mail address, and you don’t have to sign up for anything). Please post your favorites too, but try to focus on a routine or bit, rather than just telling me who your favorite comedian is. |

I like them both better in their stand-up than on any shows. Ron White seems like the whole blue collar thing has watered him down some, but still very funny. Here's my current fave male comedian: Listen to American Dream by Eddie Izzard : http://www.napster.com/player/tracks/15219604 |

The golf routine by Robin Williams, the fat people riding roller coasters done by Gabriel Iglesias, the Catholics routine by Dane Cook...or the movie sequence by Pablo Francisco. |

I had only seen it on comedy central, but then rented "Three Amigos" (it's a concert DVD of him, Freddy Soto, and Carlos Mencia... all are VERY funny) and saw his whole routine, he's just a very talented man. I have a buddy who can do strange things with his mouth like that (beatbox, etc), but I've never met anyone as good as Pablo. Another classic: Listen to Dave (Album Version-Greatest Hit) by Cheech & Chong : http://www.napster.com/player/tracks/12086012 |

I only watched season one, and it kinda put me off, but I heard it's getting better. Like, Margaret Cho makes a lot of jokes about being asian, a lot of jokes about being a woman, a lot of jokes about being chubby, but still is able to joke about other things. Case and point: Listen to Laura & Barbara Bush by Margaret Cho : http://www.napster.com/player/tracks/15909608 |
