A mirror and a table

Okay, so you are trapped in a room with no doors or windows. There are only two things in the room with you; a mirror on the wall, and a table. How do you escape?

Hint: You have to make use of both items to escape.

I'm guessing it's an observation mirror, one of those two-ways things? Break it with the table and walk out.

Tell the mirror its mother was fat. Block its anger with the table. Use the table as a battering ram to break the mirror.

Well there's doesn't appear to be a ceiling so how about step on the table, use your mirror to do the 3-point check, and safely climb out

Nah, the room is completly closed. Celing, floor, walls, everything.

I can't remember exactly, but I THINK it goes in a little poem/prose thingy:

Spoiler Below

You look around, looking for a saw,
You look in the mirror, to see what you saw
You take the saw, and saw the table in half
The two halves of the table make a whole
You climb through the hole and out.

I swear, I've heard this before (an uncle or something), and I think that's what it is... if not, oh well.
