Is Dedede good or bad?

In Kirby's Dream land, he Stole all the food. And in Kirby's Adventure:

So I thought he was good, but then most Kirby's games showed that he was the baddie, besides Meta-knight. So my question is: Is Dedede good or Bad?

Recently, he's been good. He was probably bad, and then turned good.

Dedede's probably just mischievous, but wants to do what's best for others, sort of like Kirby, so he helps him out occasionally in his own way.

Simply put, King Dedede doesn't want the ultimate evil destroying HIS Dreamland. He isn't King for nothin'.

Id have to agree on that. Dedede probably is mean and does bad things but he doesnt do evil things like take over dreamland(since its already his) he has a sense of good and he knows when enough is enough.

Meta-Knight is not evil either. He's just really tired of being from a race that does nothing more than eat and sleep all day. His goal is to end Popstar's "lazy lifestyle". Only the means he uses are not so nice.

As said before, Dedede is not and never was evil. He's just selfish and greedy.

The only evil characters in the Kirby universe are Nightmare, Marx and Dark Matter.

Oh. I never knew that Pop-star just eat and sleep all day. Sounds like my sister, only with out the eating part.

The only reason why Dedede was evil and games such as Kirby Dreamland 2 is Dark Matter taking control of Dedede but everyone knew that.

Meta-Knight doesn't seem to have any relation to Dedede at all in any of the games, so I highly doubt that Meta-Knight drives Dedede to evil.

Dedede says he gave the parts of the Star Rod to his friends. So MetaKnight would have to be one of his friends.

OK, I might not have the best of memory... But doesn't that kinda prove that Meta-Knight doesn't make Dedede bad? He's more of a subordinate then the evil behind it all...
